We have a New Moon in Capricorn conjunct the Sun in Capricorn. This is the perfect time to evaluate what your goals are for this year, moving forward.

This New Moon in Capricorn is an auspicious time to reflect on what you need in order to transform your dreams and desires into practical goals and actions.

This is so because in Capricorn we are dealing with the Earth element of a Cardinal sign. To utilize this new beginning of the Moon/Sun in Capricorn conjunction is to harness the power of integrity, perseverance, practice and consistency. Use it to map out your plan of actions. Take advantage of the energetic power needed to implement them via this strong configuration.

Its the joy of the Cardinal energy which triggers the activation of actions that are both realistic and achievable. That’s a pretty good way to begin this New Year.

The Moon/Sun conjunction in Capricorn also forms a trine to Uranus in Taurus. This adds fun and ingenuity to the planning process.

Neptune with its ability to dissolve our conscious awareness can serve as an attracter of infections, viruses and all manner of troubles. However, in contrast, Mars is all about the vitality and flow of the fiery life force fighting instinctually for its own survival.

There is a balance that is striving to be arrived at caused by the stress and tension of this square. The foggy mists of Neptune in Pisces, with its seductive beckoning, contains within it the possibility of attracting all manner of microbe and infection. This Full Moon in Gemini contains within it a buzz of energy that is as illuminating as it is inviting. It’s the messenger seeking to inspire curiosity and connection. To explore and gather juicy information in order to communicate and divulge.

The Full Moon in Gemini at 26 degrees in opposition to the Sun in Sagittarius is a culminating moment, as Full Moons usually are, however this one has some extra added “sugar and spice”.

There are a potpourri of varying influences and possibilities. The Sun in Sagittarius motivates exploration and interaction with the world. Seeking the meaning of our lives through adventure as we learn about others.

The Full Moon reflects to us our inner subjective reality and experiences. We connect to the heart of our soul through the pull of the watery Moon. This is not an easy place for Gemini, a mental air sign that is motivated through logic and the mind. Gemini is at home gathering information as well as sharing. So this Full Moon is about communication and awareness.

Keep in mind that the energy of the opposition to the Moon in Gemini is to the Sun in Sagittarius. What it’s illuminating are opportunities where we become aware of philosophies, cultures, ideas and concepts that take us out of our comfort zone. It’s a dynamic that encourages us to clarify our own personal way of seeing things with new and expansive possibilities. This is stimulated by way of exploration through encountering the other. After all knowledge via awareness and evidenced based reality is power.

The “spice” is invigorated by the planet Neptune in Pisces forming a t-square to the Sun and Moon. Neptune concerns the dissolution of boundaries. The Gemini Moon forms a trine to Jupiter at 28 degrees Aquarius and a sextile to the Sun in Sagittarius. This is a beautiful placement. It’s where experience becomes a comprehensive assimilation where you are able to envision and to discover new ways of doing things. Jupiter, aka the “Cosmic Santa Claus” in its expansive buoyant enthusiasm and optimism is quite happy in Aquarius. Aquarius with its high minded ideals and desires seeks to bring the miracle of humanizing our relationship to ourselves and each other.

Within all of that, this Full Moon precedes the December Solstice. The power of the Solstice is magnified via the exact square of Uranus in Taurus to Saturn in Aquarius.

Inner and outer stability along with the way we experience our values is coming closer into view. This is due to the influence of the Venus/Pluto conjunction that was exact on the 11th of December and will continue to be within orb throughout the coming new year, 2022.

As we journey on through time into the darkest night, which is the Solstice on December 21st. It’s the longest night where a labor of love produces the birthing of the Sun. So as the Earth shifts it’s orbit in relationship to the sun. We shall begin the journey into the light and longer days of Spring.

Aries ~ A powerful movement forward once you’ve gotten past your inner doubts along with any external judgements you might have. This is a time to come into your Martian power in a whole new way. Bright New Beginnings/ Letting Go To Keep On Going

SOLAR ECLIPSE 🌚NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS

December 4th, 2021

A New Moon heralds a new beginning. Turning over a new leaf. Formulating a new intention to motivate us to create the kind of life we want to generate as we keep moving forward.

The meaning of this New Moon/Solar Eclipse is clarified by the position of the Sun/Moon conjunction to the South Node in Sagittarius.

The South Node is about release along with assimilation. We can best benefit from this energetically charged moment through pondering our past experiences. What brought us to where we are in our lives now? What projects and experiences come easy and work for us? At the same time it is necessary and helpful to release and eliminate the rubbish, junk and waste that no longer serves. Consequently, this New Moon Solar Eclipse is a cleansing, clearing out time. A process of letting go so we may continue to work through and continue on.

We have a chance to rest in a reflective moment where it is good and useful to consider where we’ve been. What events in our lives have brought us to this moment?

What in our lives and the way in which we live remains useful and supportive to us?

What have we learned about ourselves in relationship to others and who we are in the world around us?

These questions are helpful to reflect on at this time. It’s the territory that comes with the energy of the Sagittarius New Moon. Sagittarius seeks the meaning of the journey. To make it worthwhile it’s useful to know what it means to us.

With this New Moon/ Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius we are transitioning from the Gemini/Sagittarius Nodal Axis to the Taurus/Scorpio Nodal Axis. This occurs on January 18, 2022. It will be a Venus/Pluto influenced bit of time. An intensified seeking of balance that occurs through the energies of discord and transformation. That’s the Pluto/Mars part of the equation.

North Node in Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus. Need we say more? Of course we must! The focus of our awareness throughout that time will be to emphasize our experiences of beauty, balance, harmony and money. That is, the way in which we value these things in relationship to how it impacts our self esteem and stability.

South Node in Scorpio ruled by Pluto and traditionally Mars strikes an emerging almost dissonant yet pleasing harmony. A sort of noire influenced yin/yang balance as we continue on. Like a peaceful walk through the woods on a somber yet somewhat cozy day.

In the midst of shared stress, during these transformative tumultuous times that we are living through, there is a desire to connect with the earthy and tangible. To foster the need to find balance and stability, which is a healthy impulse. This is beckoning to us through the energies of the Taurus/Scorpio transit of the Nodal cycle.

It serves as the essential catalytic component to induce the transitions and transformations required. Serving to continue to expose and demolish obsolete antiquated structures that stagnate life. To then open the space for life affirming modifications and beneficial adaptive ways and means to emerge. Relevant sustainable structures that coincide beautifully with healthy communities.

Beauty Is Eternity

GAZING AT ITSELF IN THE MIRROR

But you are eternity and you are the mirror.

~ T’WAS A LUNAR ECLIPSE/FULL MOON AT 27 DEGREES TAURUS ~

The Lunar Eclipse in Astrology is significant because the Moon forms a conjunction with the North Node. While the Sun and Mercury are conjunct the South Node. This triggers into awareness new knowledge. The North Node is about lessons to learn, new concepts to master. The North Node is the realm of the unfamiliar but necessary yet untried endeavor. All this while at the very same time we are consciously comprehending the knowledge we have been learning all along. That is the realm of the South Node.

Putting it into simpler terms, we are onto a whole new chapter of experiences brought to us by the magnetic energy of the Nodal axis. We are being presented with an opportunity to have the past inform the future in order to enrich our experience of the present moment.

Piercing penetrations into hidden and secretive goings on can be brought out into the open through the Scorpio/Taurus dynamic. Revelations of secrets uncovered to be viewed as opportunities that serve to inform us. Deep investigations provide the light towards removing any challenges that prevents a flow of resources to the people that need it most. The dynamic of Scorpio in opposition to Taurus brings it all back to Earth with our need for stability and connection to the material plane.

And so it was that during the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, my mother died. May she rest in peace. Death is a doorway. A passage towards transformation held within a great Mystery. “Oh heart, if one should say to you that the Soul perishes like the body, answer that the flower withers but the seed remains.” Says Khalil Gibran.

In my understanding, that is a basic premise of astrology. The concept that the Soul is Eternal. That we incarnate here on Earth “School” to evolve. Our Soul contained within our bodies is actually comprised of the elements of the planets and stars. Therefore we are influenced by these heavenly bodies and electromagnetic points.

Getting to the nitty gritty heart of the matter is the motivating force behind Scorpio. There is an instinctual drive towards lifting the veil so as to expose to view, the truth of the good, the bad and the ugly. There is revulsion towards pretense of any kind. This is what inspires Scorpio to catalyze the demolition of facade and disguise. Scorpio seeks to reveal artificially synthesized systems and structures as such. To serve to make room for a new solid beginning.

The inherent natural desire to seek honest bone chilling truth is what gives Scorpio its power to effectuate needed and necessary transformation. This power ultimately serves to enable life to flow in all of its sensuous creativity. Scorpio is the sign of regeneration as it generates from itself the continuous flow of life.

When we comprehend that there is a method to the madness, we gain access to understanding Scorpio. The mysterious, the sensual, the intensity of Scorpio. The sign we love to hate and hate to love. Its this bit of pain, tension and stress that brings the necessary light to issues, concerns and challenges that otherwise would have been hidden in darkness. Time now to bring emerging ideas that otherwise would not have been given voice to enter the collective consciousness. Such a stimulation of quite a conglomeration of energies, crying out to be reckoned with heralds in a powerful new beginning. Thus, Happy New Moon in Scorpio! This is very much in the cards, as it were, in light of the continuing saga of Pluto in Capricorn, ruler of Scorpio, forming a square to Mercury in Libra. Quite auspiciously, Mercury in Libra forms a trine to Jupiter. This, to my mind is the energy elixir needed and necessary at this Scorpio moment. There is an impulse towards thinking things through, processing and discussing.

This New Moon in Scorpio is a definite birthing of something new. Shaking free from something that’s been so stuck to then become loose enough to give way to some new innovative understanding. To bring about the awareness of some new sort of common ground. Some new understanding of our lives that inspires a clarified connection to evidenced based reality.

There is a threefold journey of evolution contained within the journey of the Zodiac sign Scorpio. ~ The Scorpion, the crustacean clinging to the mudflats. Seeking a victim in which to inject its venom. If no one is around the Scorpion will inject itself and die. It brings to mind the notion of the unrealized self. The sense of a cohesive self that has not yet been given birth to. That has not yet learned mastery of its feelings, it’s humanity. In the mismanagement of feelings, venom is formed that must find its way out. Sometimes one must just get down and dirty before awakening to the reality of how connected one must be to oneself, first and foremost. Then to do the work to get there. Or not. The other evolutionary form Scorpio takes on is the Eagle. The regal bird whose elevation is so vast that a mere flap of its wings allows it to cover quite a long distance in flight. The desire and ability to “rise above it’ comes to mind. To fly high and above the fray, so that life, process and transformation happens free from entanglements.

The third level of Scorpio’s evolutionary journey is the mythical flight of the Phoenix. The strategy here, held within the DNA of Scorpio is that when caught between a rock and a very hard place, stay still. Then just ignite yourself into an inferno. As the embers and ashes smolder and die down; lo snd behold, out of your very own ashes, there you are. With the gift of life restored and the capacity to re-emerge and take flight. As Joni Mitchell, a most beloved Scorpio has said. “in flames our prophet witches see the light”. So phantasticaly thus redeemed, energized, and embodied with deeper knowledge and understanding. A configuration that energizes this moment in such a way that it beckons us to pay attention. To focus our awareness on our experience of our own lives and how we are affected by the lives of others. This inclination brought to us through the resolution of this Libra Season.

Particularly potent player is Pluto, playing a prominent role on this Full Moon as we prepare to move into the Scorpio Season.

Action and process are the keywords here. Taking into account that Aries, Libra and Capricorn are Cardinal getting-things-done oriented signs.The way the Cardinal signs connect with the above mentioned planets and the aspects they form imbue a tense yet deliberate quality to this particular cycle as it unfolds.

When the Full Moon in Pisces Opposes the Sun in Virgo

This Full Moon marks a profound culmination that heralds in a transition. When Pisces Moon, the Sprit component diametrically opposes Virgo Sun it’s a relationship that transforms the ethereal and the earthy into being. The integration of making sense of matter along with the dreamy ethereal element of spirit serves to harmonize logic into compassion. Bringing into being manifestations of grounded reality. It is in this way that we once again stand at the doorway of a new beginning.

It’s the misty sensitive energy of Pisces transmitting its intuitive impressions towards the Sun in Virgo that logically materializes it into actions and practices that serve to make it all real.

This is even more profound when the Moon is conjunct Neptune in Pisces. It’s a double whammy. The effect of the energy of Planet Neptune’s cosmic consciousness along with the deep felt sense of the Moon in Pisces becomes magnified many times over.

There was a Full Moon In Aquarius 8/22/21 at 8:02 AM EDST 29 Degrees. Albeit the exact moment of the Sun/Moon opposition has passed at the time of this publishing. However, we are still in the energy field of the Full Moon. Particularly since this has been a Blue Moon in Aquarius.

Blue Moon, kind of sounds like a song of long ago.

This Blue Moon in Aquarius at 29 Degrees marks the end that opens the door to adventure. This is brought to us by the conjunction Jupiter in Aquarius forms to the Moon. This powerful conjunction animates the Aquarian “outside the box” kind of thinking. Aquarian energy allows us to perceive thoughts and ideas in unthought of ways. This serves to change our point of view. A view that expands our understanding of our experience of being alive.
