The New Moon In Capricorn

Sun/Moon/Pluto in Capricorn promises to be a powerful New Moon as we continue to move forward thru time.

The power of Pluto being involved in this lunation cycle indicates a shift in consciousness. It’s a very, very slow shift. So slowly so as to not yet to be perceived within the daily din of our lives. Still and all, time and Pluto continues on.

Nonetheless, as with all lunation cycles there is an opportunity for the integration of our inner being symbolized by the Moon to be blending into an alliance with our socialized external being symbolized by the Sun. This is what makes it a valuable time to set a new intention moving forward.

“ As Cancer is the sign manifestation of the infant’s support system, so Capricorn is the sign manifestation of the energy that thrusts the child out of the home into the world.” So says Robert Hand in Horoscope Symbols.

There is a sobering somber quality to the Capricorn season. Capricorn energy pertains to responsibilities, duties and obligations. Embracing this Capricorn quality then serves as a centering and grounding component as the new cycle engages us.

It’s the Pluto factor in its conjunction to the Sun and Moon at 29 degrees Capricorn that is the “wild card”. Twenty-nine degrees Capricorn is the degree that indicates mastery of that sign’s issues. The essence of Capricorn’s issues that pertain to systems, structures and big business.

Isabel Hickey states, “How can I use this? “ differs from, “How can this be of use to others?” These attitudes show the difference between the un-evolved and the evolved soul .” Hickey goes on to say that “Capricorn does not rule by the divine right of kings, but rather by delegated authority. Capricorn’s strength lies in leadership and humility.”

Applying this interpretation to this New Moon motivated by the transformational power of Pluto is the key. The key to the door we are desperately in need of opening.

Could it be that now finally the awareness of needing to open a new door is becoming clear?

Could we be in the midst of , “laying down our burden, placing the light before us and coming thru the door.” Affirming that this New Moon in Capricorn is the emergence of humanity towards valuing its own existence. To co exist with all others.

The need for integrity and leadership guided by humility and heart is the point of mastery Pluto keeps bringing our way. The symptoms of this need, this shift in our consciousness keeps getting played out thru current events and climate crisis.

Can’t keep playing it the usual way. So let’s try something new like love, peace and listening to each other with empathy in order to comprehend how to help.

I mean, “ What’s so funny about peace, love and understanding?” More about the heart component of all this as Pluto ingresses to Aquarius on the 20th.

For now, it is fascinating that this New Sun/Moon/Pluto conjunction at 20 degrees Capricorn forms a trine to Uranus at 19 degrees Taurus.

Through the Climate Crisis and Military Madness among other situations Uranus in Taurus brings sudden shifts. There are fluctuating changes affecting our value systems and our economy. The trine of Sun/Moon/Pluto in Capricorn to Uranus in Taurus can bring a stabilizing integration of inside awareness with outer observations. New ideas, possibilities and solutions must emerge. It’s a growing pain worth going through.

While at the same time the Sun/Moon/Pluto Capricorn conjunction forms a sextile to Neptune at 25 degrees Pisces.

This is a creative loosening up of boundaries. It serves to let us become aware of how what we thought we knew was just part of the picture. Now we can see there is much more to the story than what we thought was there.

Neptune in Pisces forming a sextile to the Sun/Moon/Pluto Capricorn conjunction has the potential to open our collective knowledge to a level of consciousness and awareness that transcends prior understanding.

The Full Moon At 4 Degrees Cancer

The moment of culmination.

The momentum of completion.

The Sun at 4 degrees Capricorn conjunct Mercury Rx at 25 degrees Sagittarius conjunct Mars at 22 degrees Sagittarius. This is a dynamic stellium that opens the door to our mind and our will. While at the same time the Cancer Moon illuminates the components of nurturing, stability and care. Love that is unconditional.

Additionally and significantly is the awareness of the influence of Neptune in Pisces as the pinnacle point of this t-square. This perhaps can explain a foggy sense of reality emitted by this cosmic influence.

Ironic that it’s happening right in the midst of Christmas with Pluto at 29 degrees Capricorn. (More about that in another post). The influence of Neptune serves to act like a solvent to dissolve boundaries and limitations.

The curative purpose of that is the dissolving of delusions about ourselves and the world we inhabit. False notions of ourselves and the world we inhabit can lose their grip on us.

However, the opposite can be manifested as well. Neptune in its dark toxic expression can drain our energy and visit more delusions upon us. This happens when there is not enough inner strength and integrity to hold reality. To hold the truth.

As we tend to seek the meaning of our lives and traditions we hold near and dear, the Capricorn season is about embodying the bones and integrity of those traditions.

It’s up to each of us to reflect on how this moment plays out for us personally in our lives. How it affects the way in which we deal.

It is useful to make an effort to use our mind and our will, via the Sun in Capricorn/ Mars in Sagittarius conjunction as our own “private detective” source. To be bone chilling honest with ourselves in order to help us discern what is real vs. distorted projected perceptions via our mind.

As difficult as this might be I see this moment as a bridge which is connecting us to some of the new teachings coming thru the Nodal axis in Aries/Libra. Since it is the North Node in Aries, which indicates knowledge to be gained as we continue moving forward. The South Node in Libra contains what we already know from our past and current lives concerning relationship. Albeit, so much more for us to learn from there, I do believe.

However, considering that it’s the North Node in Aries, with Mars ruler of Aries as an important player of this Full Moon and Sun/Mercury stellium, it is worth mentioning here.

Within the mix of influences at this time are issues concerning our instinctual need to survive. That is what North Node in Aries stimulates. It is good to remember that Aries is the sign of the birth of Spring. The emergence of life as the process of death, decay and gestation give way to birth. Thru the first breaths of the Spring Equinox.

Venus ruler of the South Node in Libra seeks harmonious balanced ways for us to thrive. The life force of Mars is about being embodied.

We are designed for partnership in harmony and balance with ourselves and each other seeking to blossom and bloom. So it goes that this is South Node in Libra ruled by Venus playing her part.

Mars in Sagittarius within the Sun/Mercury conjunction in Capricorn illuminating this Full Moon in Cancer contains a fascinating paradox.

That is that within us are impulses towards nurturing loving kindness. Then when there is a feeling of fear, suspicion and distrust where we perceive that the parameters of our territory is somehow threatened, we respond.

Fight or flight becomes the impulse.

Then it is time to stop, take a breath and allow ourselves to see thru it by calming down.

Then we can comprehend what’s really going on.

This is what’s being illuminated by the Full Moon.

Moving forward thru the Capricorn season as Saturn continues to move thru Pisces the communication from the Universe is becoming clarified.

To seek a new way that respects with dignity all peoples. Even those we don’t understand, like or even agree with.

Savoring Truths And Hidden Secrets

On 11/13/2023 at 4:27 AM EST the Moon at 20 degrees Scorpio had entered into a new cycle as it formed a conjunction to the Sun at 20 degrees Scorpio.

Scorpio is understood to be the most misunderstood sign of the Zodiac. This could actually be a reflection of our culture’s own confusions, fear and misunderstandings about the topics associated with Scorpio. Sex, death, regeneration, inheritance, shared ownership of properties and resources. These topics concern boundaries and the fluid realms of mystery. The ability to not know and let go. Such is the domain of Scorpio.

Scorpio is the detective seeking to uncover the truth at the same time being confidential and discrete maintaining mindful respect of that which remains veiled. In this sense I see the relationship Scorpio has to Taurus its polar opposite. Both Taurus and Scorpio are concerned with territory. Taurus with the material earthbound world of territory and Scorpio concerns itself with the boundaries of shared and inherited resources.

However, Robert Hand states,”As for polarity with its opposite sign, Scorpio seems to have little to do with Taurus. In a way , Scorpio is more a prefiguration of Pisces. Scorpio is the first encounter with ego death. It completes the process begun in Libra, where the individual entered into a dialogue with another while both individuals remained separate entities. In Scorpio the two merge into one on an emotional level, and this is the first kind of ego death.”

He goes on to say, “however, this is not the essence of the sign. The essence is transformation, and it is inherently mystical. This is NOT the mysticism of Christianity, which is primarily otherworldly, ascetic and self denying. It is a mysticism that sees the power of transformation at work in ordinary reality. Rather than to deny the physical Universe in order to transcend it, Scorpio will immerse itself in physicality and even drown in it in order to go beyond it”

This shines a new light on how we can understand our experiences through the lens of Scorpio. To clarify that the characterizations of Scorpio pertaining to death and transformation are not to be taken literally. Rather, to comprehend Scorpio’s affiliation with death as the essence of transformation which allows for metamorphosis. “To find the extraordinary in the ordinary”, as D.W. Winnicott has stated in his work with children and mothers.

With Scorpio there is a relationship to unsettling pain and discomfort brought on by circumstances where transformation must be surrendered to. To let go and just let be is the Scorpio teaching.

This New Moon in Scorpio with the Sun/Mars conjunction inspires our energy to seek life. To dive deep into its depths in order to know what it is to be fully alive.

Could it be that the configurations of this moment are just the beginning of another door opening? Setting in motion a new way to understand this moment that makes sense for many more to comprehend?

If change and transformation has been blocked by boulders of obstinacy that lacks vision and awareness, then this New Moon in Scorpio is here to show us another way.

During the time of this lunation, on the 13th when the Sun, Moon and Mars were at 22 degrees conjunct in Scorpio. They formed an opposition to Uranus Rx in Taurus at 21 degrees.

Uranus, the planet of sudden movements, change, invention and new perspectives. New ways of thinking about the way we are living our lives. A new understanding that allows us to embrace our humanity. The necessity of being embodied as it is transiting thru Taurus. The Fixed sign of earthen material stability, creature comforts, finances, money and the beauty of lush sensuality.

Material earthbound Taurus’s influencing planet Uranus. Uranus who just wants to be free perhaps even while being anchored, is not such a bad idea. Actually as long as Uranus is free to explore, experience and invent as needed, earthbound material connection to one’s body on planet Earth is not so constricting. As long as it can be broadcast and shared globally with dignity in a sustainable way for all. Freedom is one of the keywords for Uranus.

Scorpio seeks total immersion in its dance with death and transformation, Uranus throws open the secret locked doors to free the energy.

Uranus indicates letting go of what is no longer relevant with the understanding that once all the old is gone there is a seed of a new beginning. The seed of a relevant developing starting point contained within the shell of the old. To free up energy to move forward.

This New Moon has been and continues to be a time of letting go in order to move forward. For many it is time to take the next solid steps towards manifestation of goals, wishes and desires. In Runic lore they say, “movement can be dangerous for the unborn child, however, movement that is timely can lead out of danger.” Uranus in Taurus in opposition to the Sun, Moon, Mars trilogy in Scorpio in square aspect to Saturn in Pisces is saying THE TIME IS NOW.

To cleanse the dark murky waters via global outpourings towards dignity, understanding and compassion for all. Therefore cleansing the stagnant irrelevant ways of viewing oneself and the world we have been living in “to be cleansed by the free flowing waters of life,” states Isabel Hickey in her explanation about Scorpio.

With Uranus in Taurus as part of the equation we are living at a time where our awareness, feelings, ideas and actions are able to bring the unique unthought knowns forward. Evidenced based truths to be birthed and realized via a collective conscious understanding and agreement that says, this must be so!

Then we have Saturn at 0 degrees Pisces playing a pinnacle role as a t-square to the New Moon stellium in Scorpio in opposition to Uranus in Taurus.

Saturn, planet of structures and boundaries which usually manifest as challenges. Challenges that in reality become guideposts towards our destiny. Saturn will lead us to our destiny if we have the character and integrity to listen. Saturn indicates the bones along with what the conditions of the bones are that holds our lives together.

Saturn at 0 degrees Pisces. Pisces the sign that dissolves structures in order to transcend them. Pisces the sign that is mostly interested in becoming liquified in order to let go of ego so as to swim into the river of consciousness itself.

I believe this is the perfect prelude to the era of Pluto, modern ruler of Scorpio who will make its ingress to Aquarius from 1/20/2024- 9/1/2024. Then 11/19/2024-3/8/2043.

The contradictory incompatibilities that transmute and transform our consciousness towards an evolutionary outcome of transcendence and a new found understanding is thus upon us.

Desiring Shifts In Perception

Yes, there truly was a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 5 degrees 9’ in Taurus on October 28, 2023. The Sun was at 5 degrees 9’ Scorpio and had formed an opposition to the Taurus Moon widely conjunct the North Node at 24 degrees Aries.

While activating the intuitive receptive Taurus Moon energy the North Node in Aries also became part of the story. The North Node being the component of the Nodal Axis where we are learning something new. The North Node is the point of evolutionary karma.

The transiting Aries North Node/Libra South Node axis brings to our global consciousness the significance of knowing that we are inter-connected. North Node in Aries emphasizes an awareness of knowledge about who we are in relationship to ourselves. However, we have a past life memory by way of the South Node in Libra that echoes within our deep residue of remembrances the way we inter connect with others.

So when the powerful Full Moon in Taurus was vibrating with the energy of the North Node in Aries events might have presented themselves to you with opportunities to learn about your relationship to yourself and others. To become aware of your own experience of assertion vs aggression and the willfulness of your own instinctual impulsive nature. All components of the Aries repertoire.

Specifically the lessons of this moment seems to indicate the focus on how to deal effectively when conflicts emerge. A by product of living on a planet inhabited by others. Libra South Node conjunct the Sun in Scorpio has the capacity to educate us on how to expose and cut away the lies, the delusions and the deceit.

So then the teachings of the North Node in Aries enables us to embrace that power in an integrated life affirming way, Aries is thought of as a warring, militaristic sign which on many levels that is what that energy indicates. However, there is also a reverence for life via its connection to our instinctual need to survive. Aries revels in its vitality and life affirming vigor. That is why there is a balance struck in its relationship to its opposition sign Libra.

The North Node in Aries is a time where we must learn to work our will in a focused energized way. A way in which we allow for all of life and peoples to coexist in a sustainable way. To learn about anger, conflict and managing our fear and insecurity from a place of mutual relationship to all. Self and other.

This is the teaching required of us as the North Node transits thru Aries. I believe this is indicated by the fact that we are currently living in a world that has advanced technologically way beyond a needed reverence for reality along with a frightening juvenile lack of comprehension of what the hubris of the Heads of States are aware of. The laws of cause and effect must be revitalized and put into practice, ASAP. It is the power of the extraordinarily ordinary citizens of the global village to remind them. I believe that is a healthy positive use of Pluto in Capricorn squaring the Aries/Libra Nodal axis.

When Mars, Mercury and the Sun are conjunct in Scorpio as Pluto in Capricorn squares the Nodal axis, letting go, transformation and change is at hand.

Transformation and change that supports growth thru sustainable living. With Mercury involved there is the motivation towards listening and imparting information. Bringing sharpened logical thinking to the willfulness of Mars in Scorpio and the questing energy of the Sun in Scorpio.

Yet, in opposition this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse was in Taurus. The dire need for peace and stability was the essence of the soul of the Full Moon lunation we had on 10/28/2023.

With Pluto playing it’s part to insure that the paradigm of yesterday must transform into something better. Something that works well as the structure within a system continues to be demolished as only Pluto in Capricorn can do. The purpose of the demolition must be to clear the space and allow for a rebirth to occur into something new. This is clearly getting played out in the devastating crises of current world events.

Pluto, modern ruler of Scorpio in square aspect to the Lunar Eclipse and the Nodal axis, has indicated that the transformations needed are happening. The response publicly throughout the world is the awakening of people. Albeit, not made clear enough yet, still we are moving forward towards transformation and evolution.

There is a “fork in the road” where evolving souls of humanity might be finding themselves. Can we embody our humanity from a place of heart and soul or to remain in the grips of belief systems that divides life into good/bad, up or down? Can we “hold the tension of the opposites”as the late Marion Woodman suggests?

This Scorpio season is a moment where some serious soul searching is triggered. Particularly as the USA is in the midst of its Pluto Return.

Still and all, the culmination of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus served as a new beginning. What with Mercury in Scorpio having the capacity to bring logic as the thinking and listening presence of the metaphorical midwife to the rebirth of a new paradigm. If we take a moment to take a beat and breathe we can become aware of the reverent relationship we have to the mysterious elements of life and death itself.

As the Pluto in Capricorn square to the Nodal axis makes itself manifest on the world stage, can there be a global shift towards an ethical humane heartfelt understanding of how valuable life is. How fragile and precious just being alive and well is? To have the compassion and understanding to preserve and care to support all citizens of this planet a good life. Such is the component that the Taurus has added to the recent culminating Full Moon in Taurus.

Taurus and the Full Moon in Taurus requires peace. Taurus seeks stability which requires there to be trust and respect for life that comes when all is well.

Of note is Pluto in Capricorn at 27 degrees forming a trine to Venus in Virgo at 18 degrees. Venus ruler of the South Node in Libra transiting thru the sobering sign of Virgo forming a trine to Uranus in Taurus. Allowing for a harmonious sweet flow towards a new consciousness of peace and stability.

If we let it. If we can open to it.

Uranus is forging its unique innovative way towards peace that is premised on a thriving world for all. ‘Cause Uranus just rolls that way. So do give peace a chance.

Now the song has such an awesome hook in it with Pluto in Capricorn trining at the pinnacle of this triangle. This is a breakthrough moment if we allow ourselves to affirm it that way by envisioning it as such. It’s the sound that the amazing music of this heavily aspected astrological moment in its resonant communication.

Let us move forward with the sweetness of this paradoxical trine to continue to dissolve antiquated and obsolete abuses of power. Let us work with the sweetness of the trine to affect and support changes needed that can grow the seeds of grounded centered logical thinking into a new Earth that supports life for all.

Wants, Needs And Desires…

Was the time the New Moon~Solar Eclipse was at 21 degrees Libra.

Libra influences our need to restore balance through listening to where the harmony resounds from. To hold both sides of the equation to find the truth that establishes equilibrium.

The New Moon/ Solar Eclipse in Libra inspired a desire to be interconnected with others or not. To understand ourselves via relationships we form with each other. That includes the relationship to ourselves.

Since this is a South Node Eclipse events might present themselves and feel like a DejaVu. Being tested as happenings that replicate the past occur. For our karmic Soul evolution it’s to make sure lessons from the past are assimilated and understood. Albeit, keep in mind that it’s a New Moon heralding in new beginnings.

The business of establishing relationships must go through the test of time. Consequently conflicts unfold. Challenges teach us to negotiate and make livable compromises that serve both sides. This is the way to develop real healthy relationships. Relationships serve as the backdrop while unconsciously reminding us of lessons from the past. Trust and respect are an important part of this equation. Within everything this is the learning curve humanity is currently in the midst of.

Truth and Beauty go hand in hand. There cannot be one without the other. For Libra Venus holds the scales of balance, harmony and justice. Intentionally seeking peace and harmony she uses her sword not as a weapon to destructively work her will. Rather as a sharp blade to cut through lies, deceptions and delusions.

The South Node is emphasized as it conjuncts the New Moon. The Nodal Axis is 24 degrees 52’ in Aries/Libra. This puts the South Node in Libra sandwiched between the Sun~Moon~and Mars at 1 degree Scorpio.

The South Node holds within it echoes of the past. Karmic lessons of the past being brought into awareness as we enter into a new cycle via the Sun/Moon conjunct in Libra.

The dynamic of this New Moon Solar Eclipse is further developed by Mercury, planet of the mind. This is in terms of comprehension and communication. This works well since comprehensive communicating supports creating a safe environment in which to listen and to respond.

Then on the other side of the New Moon stellium there is Mars at 1 degree Scorpio. Mars in Scorpio conjunct the Sun brings the vitality of life along with willful assertions colored with deep intensity. Scorpio coloring Mar’s vibration is responsible for that. To be tempered by Mercury, the Moon and Sun in Libra.

What makes this even more fascinating as we carry on is the timing of Mars energy transiting thru the powerful sign of Scorpio ruled by Pluto.

Then the story continues on with Pluto, at 27 degrees Capricorn. By design cosmically forming a square to the Nodal Axis, at 24 degrees Aries/Libra. Active change hopefully in the form of evolution is upon us. Transiting thru Cardinal signs, willful stimulated activity being the driving force.

With Pluto at the pinnacle of this square to the Nodal Axis events may serve as catalysts stimulating needed transformation. Unprecedented actions unconsciously and as of yet incomprehensibly serving as breakthroughs to awaken humanity to conscious awareness. It’s a way of making astrological sense of the substance of this cycle. Such is the energy heightened at this time with these configurations reverberating throughout all of us in its own way.

For many years now Pluto in Capricorn has been knocking away at obsolete systems and structures in order to clear the way for a renovated system of regenerated sustainability. This is a transformational moment of a new beginning that requires the lessons of the South Node in Libra to be evoked and made manifest in order to work wisely with the powerful North Node at 24 degrees Aries conjunct Eris.

This is no easy task. However, the logical understanding of our present circumstances requires a shift in consciousness. Nothing more, nothing less.

This moment calls for remembering who we are as a people’s and a planet sharing the magnificence of our great Mother Earth with respect and reverence for each other and the planet we all inhabit.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse thru the signs ~

Aries ~ This is a time of potent emotions running high that must be tempered by deep breathing meditation and/or some form of Martial Arts. This is the time of the Spiritual Warrior where wisdom must prevail. Powerful passionate energy must be channeled and focused to support the good of all. In that way you are coming back to yourself with your integrity intact as you move forward with clarity.

Taurus ~ This is a great moment of solidifying your understanding of your finances in relationship to your value systems in an unusual way. Perhaps doors will be opening up to a whole new creative way of thinking. Something in this moment is making you yearn for some centering and nourishment thru some creative work. Then again, perhaps some creative work is allowing you to see things in a very different light than you ever have before. Either way some of the past upheavals could be beginning to make sense.

A Very Brief Reflection…..

The Full Moon at 6 degrees Aries in opposition to the Sun at 6 degrees Libra on September 29, 2023 was a culminating moment. Just out of the Autumn Equinox and preceding towards Eclipse season. It’s a time of preparation as we continue on.

The Moon in Aries in opposition to the Sun in Libra is about the dynamic of self and other. Relationship is the key factor.

Aries, a Cardinal sign is active and fiery spirited contained within a profound vitality.

To be involved in a relationship or not to be involved in a relationship. This is one of the many questions coming up as we continue to engage during the Libra season. Particularly coming out of this Full Moon in Aries.

It’s a topic of particular interest which I look forward to exploring moving forward with this writing and my work. Beginning from an astrological viewpoint i am filled with wonder and awe about the dynamic of the Cardinal Cross and the squares it forms.

It is fascinating that the Full Moon just passed yesterday, which we are still in the energy orbit of as I am writing this, heralds in a deeper activation of the Aries/Libra Nodal Axis. Particularly as Pluto in Capricorn squares the Aries/Libra Nodal Axis.

There is so much more to say about all of this and I shall in my next post on the New Moon/Solar Eclipse coming up on tbe 14th of October. I promise that to be a full post with its effects on the twelve signs of the Zodiac. So stay tuned.

In light of my own journey which continues to bring me the gifts of insight and understanding, but first by placing boulders of challenges before me that must be addressed. (Such boulders had consistently and profoundly interrupted my writing on this Full Moon in Aries).

I am happily jumping into the New Moon in Libra post coming up…which has a Solar Eclipse and Nodal axis conjunction entwined with it and more.

My deadline for this blog site, Lotus In Full Bloom, is set by the Lunation cycles and the intention of getting the pieces done prior to the event itself. Attuning myself to this rhythm along with inclusion of everything else about being alive, well and balanced is the key. I am slowly but surely finding that key and unlocking that door. It’s quite a good thing.

Therefore in the interest of creating a sensible realistic lifestyle that supports my work and continued studies I had to stop the Full Moon piece there, where I did.

I did this in order to continue on with clarified intentions to focus on this work as a way to support stability, prosperity, health and balance for myself and others. My goal is to contribute good work, to guide help and support people including myself to have a beautiful well lived life.

I look forward to the exploration and writing of my next lunation post of the New Moon in Libra. I shall be elaborating much more on what I have mentioned above about the Cardinal Cross along with the particular transits worth taking note of. It’s an enchanting richly captivating adventure. Making It Real

As the cosmic and the mundane do the dance of life.

The Sun conjunct the Moon at 21 degrees Virgo on September 14 2023, at 9:39 PM EDT. This has marked the starting point of a new cycle…as yet still in process

Virgo’s virtuous simplicity and elegance imbues this new Moon with logical practical intentions. To serve, to follow through and to get things done.

Robert Hand speaks of “Virgo as the completed ego coming to terms simultaneously with the physical and the social universes as obstacles to which one must adapt, as frameworks for learning to be effective, and as realities that must be served.”

Virgo evolves through performing acts of service. To submit itself to the task at hand, whatever that may be, dedicated to doing it efficiently, effectively and well.

Virgo and it’s opposing sign Pisces are the zodiacal energies that are concerned with topics relating to work, health and service. Neptune, ruler of Pisces is in direct opposition to the Sun/Moon conjunction in Virgo.

Neptune, “symbolizes the truth and divinity perceived by mystics”, says Robert Hand.

Virgo, ruled by Mercury which stations Direct on September 15, 2023 has to do with the mind as it pertains to logic. Mercury as ruler of Virgo concerns itself with the ordinary everyday routines and its interrelationship with all things. The logistical orchestration of how things come together.

Whereas Neptune as the higher octave of Venus resides in the realm of the extraordinary. Neptune dissolves the boundaries and terrain of what we thought to be solid. Through Neptune we learn to surrender into the pure consciousness of being. By letting go and dropping down into oceans of Neptunian energy we are able to see the beauty and the Divine in all things.

This New Moon in Virgo is a time where we are able to surrender to divine consciousness while remaining connected to the visceral material world of everyday living. Thanks to the energy of this New Moon in Virgo in opposition to Neptune in Pisces.

The fascinating component of this lunation cycle marks a starting point that is drenched in trines providing us with a sweet easy flow in which to navigate these frequencies from. It’s a mellow manageability that gets played out in a more balanced harmonious way within the dynamic interchange of work and play. It’s an interesting new beginning moment graciously influenced by the power of these outer planet energies.

The Grand Earth Trine being constellated on September 14, 2023 will have a lasting effect. It is one that facilitates opening the door to our hearts, minds and souls which allows us to be open to new ideas that can lead to long sought after solutions.

This moment allows us to tap into the balanced ease that stimulates the exploration of new ideas. Ideas that are congruent and relevant to the moment we are living thru now.

Starting with the Sun/Moon conjunction forming a trine to Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus. Innovative expansion via our connection to earthbound realities such as food, the earth. the weather, money, finance and ethics. To bring conscious awareness to what our values are as they have bearing on the moment we are living in now.

The Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Taurus then forms a trine to Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto…

“Pluto is the archetype of death and resurrection.” says Robert Hand. Resurrection is the operative word here. We are being asked, as it were, to trust the process of change and transformation that is a part of life. To be aware of how the ending of something is usually the beginning. Like the mystical Phoenix flying up out of its own ashes.

The ending serves as the proverbial page being turned. That brings us to the next part of our story. The part of the story where we can move towards the healing that fertilizes the ground for our renewal and resurrection.

Robert Hand goes on to say,”Pluto breaks down the old and outworn entities into their component parts, and then reassembles them into new being.” As indeed we shall be doing as we continue to move thru this moment in time.

This Grand Earth Trine is like a key being given to us that allows an opening of the door to the next steps in our lives. If we so choose.

The New Moon in Virgo thru the signs ~

Aries ~ Relationships could be rather interesting as your ruling planet Mars forms a sextile to Venus in Leo. That makes this a good time to get out and mingle. However, do mingle gently since it is also a good time to go inward as you might find yourself becoming aware of vulnerabilities that continue to make themselves visible. Conundrums ~ Oxymorons ~ Breakthroughs

Within a culmination that leads to a new beginning

“And the band played on..” ~ The Temptations ~

On August 1, 2023, the Moon was at 9 degrees Aquarius. It was in opposition to the Sun at 9 degrees Leo . It had become exact at 2:32 PM EDT that afternoon.

Full Moon 8/1/2023

However, this Aquarius Full Moon occurred within an ongoing process, that is still occurring. It’s a configuration that the Ancient Egyptians have named the Lion’s Gate Portal.

The brightest star Sirius rises in the night sky. As Orion’s Belt which consists of 3 stars aligns with Earth’s horizon and the Great Pyramid of Giza.

This year this occurs from July 28, 2023 ~ August 12th, 2023.

Since the Lion’s Gate Portal happens during Leo season it is understood to be the Gateway of the Lion.

On a metaphorical metaphysical astrological level the Lion’s Gateway is a significant moment of manifestation. Electromagnetically the energy vibration of these stars as they align with Earth and the Great Pyramid of Giza is an auspicious event.

The Great Pyramid of Giza itself is a structure that holds profound mystical implications. Archaeologist, such as Peter Lemesurier in his book, The Great Pyramid Decoded published in 1977, is one such book. In it he depicts the architectural mathematics of the structure of the Great Pyramid from the outside in through every chamber. Interpreting each mathematical combination as a clue to its mystery. The mystery of how it got here and it’s possible meaning. All subjective of course. The interpretation is always thru the eyes of the interpreter. Coming from within the lens of their own feeling and intellectual subjective perceptions as they are reflected thru the experiences of the moment in time that the work was done. However, there is a resonance to some of the meanings of the mathematical engineering synthesized into metaphors that connect.

No matter the Great Pyramid of Giza is a relic of rock and stone perfectly designed and erected. So one would want to give credence to this moment in Leo Season when Sirius and the Orion Belt aligns with the Great Pyramid directly.

Here in August of 2023, as Kuiper Belt objects are becoming more visible and available to be studied, our understanding and interpretations of such things keeps changing, transforming and evolving. That is the fascinating power of this moment we are alive in.

Evolutionary outer planets such as Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are supporting a shift in our consciousness and understanding. The way this is experienced and the evolution for each of us is reflected in how the placements of these planets interacts within the components of each of our own birth charts.

As I have been writing this and up until August 12th, the Lion’s Gate Portal is open and available for all of us to draw from. To connect with the energy of bright conscious life force. This energy is to be channeled into our lives to support our well being, the well being of others and our Great Mother Earth herself.

For anyone reading this and is so inclined, it is suggested to say it aloud 15x a day as we move through the Lion’s Gate Portal. Even if we do it once I believe it will help. The affirmation is a mindful life affirming thought form that supports a healthy breakthrough and opening within our own lives and the lives of others.

In its generous way the alignment of Sirius and the the Orion Belt with Earth’s horizon and the Great Pyramid has the electromagnetic energy to activate and bring into being creative wishes, dreams and desires accelerated thru the warm brightness of Leo.

Indeed magical manifestations are afoot. Particularly as we allow ourselves to breathe within the rhythm and power of the present moment.

I believe the Lion’s Gateway is affirming a connection to the Divine itself. This Divinity that is contained within us all by the virtue of our very being. The knowledge and experience of our own light and truth is centered within our own heart and soul. It’s the way we perceive our own inherent logical creative mind via impulses transmitted from the depths of our being. This is what has been activated.

At any rate, it’s the interweaving of ideals with innovative conceptions combined with the knowledge, skills and understanding of the material world. This Lion’s Gateway is a passage through time that supports our ability to manifest as above so below.

Therefore, be mindful of what you ask for. Allow yourself to take some time to reflect on what you desire and write it down. Then breathe your hearts desire into it. If you are so inclined take dated notes of your experience. Allow it to unfold.

The Full Moon on August 1st was the yearly ending that marks the creation of a new beginning. The Lion’s Gate Portal is in affect now until the 12th of August. The New Moon is on the 16th. We get to create and manifest during the exhale that is the waning moon. It’s the energy cycle that we are in now.

Consequently being aware that when we had the Full Moon in Aquarius on the 1st, it had been a culminating moment. A time of completion that was also a doorway opening towards the creative manifestation of a new beginning. Unusual for a Full Moon, however with the Moon in Aquarius the unexpected is the usual.

Keep in mind that during the Full Moon in Aquarius in its opposition to the Leo Sun has it is a conduit that ignites a metaphysically metaphorical electrical current. Serving to direct connection to higher consciousness as we allow ourselves to become open and aware of it.

Keep in mind that the traditional co ruler of Aquarius is Saturn. Saturn anchors Aquarian’s connection with the solid material world thru earthbound pursuits. Giving Aquarius the means to be free. Free to fly towards systems based in allowing for higher ideals in freedom to think, feel and be as it must. To flourish and thrive. “To become able to breathe the air we cannot yet breathe”, writes Marge Piercy. That is the influence of Uranus, Aquarius’s modern Ruler.

On the other hand, Saturn, traditional ruler of Aquarius offers the gift of knowledge of the extraordinary contained within the ordinary. Quite often this occurs through presenting challenges, conundrums and inconvenient delays. However, it is said that even a delay may prove beneficial. In its positive response challenges serve as motivation to rethink and renegotiate our way through to the other side of whatever the thing is.

There is a basic truth. It states that one can never be truly free until one is anchored to something solid. The integrity of something to be held into as simple and solid like the Earth sets us free. It seats us as the rider and navigator on the powerful wild horse.

The Sun in Leo forms a square to Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus. I believe this brings on situations that in the long run allows for evolutionary shifts to occur. It’s a subtle significant shift in our perception of reality. This is also influenced by the Aries/Libra Nodal Axis still in its beginning moments. In a nuanced way something is shifting Globally, for many of us. This is getting played out in relationship to ourself and in relationship to each other particularly as we go about the daily rhythms of the mundane reality of our everyday life.

Jupiter the planet of law, justice and the magnification of growth is in wide conjunction with Uranus in Taurus. This combination conjure up a mixture of comprehensive awareness that could be perceived as incomprehensible. The Sun in Leo and Venus Rx in Leo are square to the Jupiter/ Uranus wide conjunction presents fascinating ideas through orchestrated situations as amazing as the design of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The combined relationships of all these planets and signs opens the doorway to solving problems and finding solutions we might never have thought of.

Could be the time for a whole lot of earthy Justice, peace and understanding to go down. Or not.

So as we continue on thru this Moon and it’s powerful waning cycle, especially as things may feel a bit frustrating at times, focus on your breath. So that with mindfulness and loving kindness. Aries ~ It’s a moment of quiet humility. Not an experience that comes easy to fiery Aries. However, allow yourself to settle into this moment and you will receive the guidance of new knowledge. Awareness of ideas, concepts and an understanding of how to apply them to your life and to how to work with others.

Taurus ~ Becoming aware of a changing understanding concerning money, finance and basic resources. Rx Venus in Leo opposing Saturn in Aquarius can feel a bit restrictive, however it’s always there to support balance and common sense. Becoming The Rider On The Horse

The New Moon in Cancer at 24 degrees

On July 17th 2023 At 2:31PM EDT

The Sun conjunct the Moon in Cancer colors this warm Summer moment with a reverence for home, stability, safety and unconditional love. A beautiful sentiment through which to set your new intentions moving forward.

While at the same time our experience, knowledge and awareness of all that we hold sacred, near and dear such as the concept and familiarity of home itself is in a tumultuous place of disruption.

Pluto, planet of unconditional demolition in the interest of transformation is in direct opposition to the New Cancer Sun/Moon conjunction. Pluto has gone Rx back to Capricorn at 29 degrees. This allows us to reverse backward so we may pick up and complete unresolved issues. In all likelihood issues pertaining to structure, systems and authority as we encounter these things in our lives.

Pluto continues in its square relationship to the North Node as the North Node itself is shifting to 29 degrees Aries. Pluto then likewise squares the South Node at 29 degrees Libra. Making this a powerfully intense moment of spirited new beginnings moving forward.

These are 4 Cardinal points of life affirming activity, as you see in the above diagram. There is a motivation to break free of the past as the past makes itself known to us and is getting played out via the Pluto Rx. Triggering the tension and stresses brought about by the friction of the t-square angle. This is prominently energized by the Cardinal qualities of the signs involved. Inducing an energizing force that holds the possibility of truly making conscious what actions are required in most situation in order to move forward.

Within this very moment we have the Nodal Axis shifting from Taurus/Scorpio into Aries/Libra. This shift breathes life into a new understanding about our very existence. This movement of energy can inspire folks to know what it means to have self dominion that energizes power from within. Aries North Node inspires the strength and grace of enlivened individuation as we apply the knowledge we have learned via the South Node in Libra.

I must say that although the Ram is the symbol of Aries, to my mind, as the North Node shifts to Aries, I envision the metaphorical image of the horse.

The horse as a noble quite grand elegant and strong animal. Originally born wild but made quite tame, gentle and able to live in loyal reverence to a good humane, understanding master.

The Aries North Node holds the keys as to how we embody our own wildness. To become aware of our instinctual drives and needs. There is great knowledge and wisdom held within the North Node in Aries. Aries North Node is teaching us to experience the vibrant embodiment of being alive.

To form a balanced relationship with nature as we become the rider on the horse. It’s a metaphor about assertion as we direct our lives via the instinctual life force contained within our bodies as symbolized by the noble horse.

The North Node in Aries is the placement that imbues our consciousness with the profound necessity of owning our deep instinctual impulses. To embrace the full repertoire of our intuitive inherent wild impulses as we learn to channel and direct them into humane, sustainable productivity. This is how we become the rider on the horse.

There is something to be said about the evolutionary need for self reclamation. That is the influence that could be the result of this moment as Pluto squares the Nodes. Fixed Earth and Fixed Water turning towards Cardinal Fire and Cardinal Air. Something is in the midst of happening. Let us take our power and lives into our own hands and become the deciders.

Taurus/Scorpio Nodal Axis has imbued our consciousness with issues concerning the solidity and stability of being on our planet Earth. Specifically as we are in the midst of extreme weather events meteorologically on a global level.

Seemingly held within the chaotic mystery of the shifting Nodal Axis, from Taurus/Scorpio ingress to Aries/Libra. It is time to bring awareness of our connection to dear Mother Earth and how it relates to the meaning of the connection that is at the heart of life itself. The heart of home.

It’s through the awareness of the connection to our own physical body which is contained within the North Node’s ingress to Aries/Libra. At least that’s one component that is part of this u folding story.

One of the topics the Taurus/Scorpio Nodal Axis has brought to our attention was our sense of worth and stability via our relationship to money and finance. Within that equation we are face to face with our understanding of what constitutes real value.

In that regard I wonder how can we progress and evolve forward towards a consciousness that is sustainable for all? The poetry of astrology and philosophy begs the question as we are now embarking on the Nodal Axis transiting through Aries/Libra.

One of the more endearing qualities of Aries is its exuberant love of a good challenge. So this New Moon in Cancer holds the possibilities of a myriad of plentiful challenges. We are all quite fortunate that way.

This New Moon in Cancer blends, balances and integrates through the harmony of the sextile it forms to Uranus in Taurus which then forms a sextile to Neptune in Pisces. I love this formation at this time. It is the Universe’s way of easing the tensions and stress of this moment. Allowing for a break or a breakthrough for that matter.

These points of contact have the potential to form a symphony of compassion by comforting and easing our way towards a depth of understanding. This gets accentuated by the harmonious trine that the Sun/Moon in Cancer makes with these points. Making way for the new as we process and deal with the past. Finishing with unfinished business so we are moving forward with the new.

We have Earth and Water elements coming together to soften the ground. Inspiring and suffusing this moment with a simple clarity even as we are influenced by the fascinating innovative complexity of Uranus in Taurus. Interwoven is the compassion, mercy and understanding that Neptune in Pisces brings to the table. It’s just the perfect thing that is needed to support the transformation triggered by the Pluto in Capricorn square to the Nodal Axis. We are in good company moving forward.

Now we are learning about becoming actively engaged in our own aliveness via the vibrant Nodal shift from Fixed Earth and Water into Cardinal Fire and Air.

Awaiting us is a deeper understanding of self in relationship to the other. This is as it relates to healthy individuation which then ties in to many of the Aquarian themes about to unfold as we continue on.

The perfect blend of Cardinal energies stimulating the need to jump right into cycles of becoming. Lending themselves to opportunities that open doors to new choices and new beginnings.

This moment is fueled by an awesome drive towards becoming. We have the opportunity to choose to allow ourselves to become infused with the dance of life. The miraculous awareness of the magnificence of being alive. Even within the high tech world of virtual simulation of reality, when it comes down to it, in person, face to face is always best.

As we value our instinctual experiences as creatures here on Planet Earth we bring about the healthy connection to just being alive. To celebrate the healing miracle of aliveness contained within our own physical and etheric bodies.

The “abra~cadabra” component of the harmonious combo of sextile and trine being to honor the awareness of how all life is precious. All life deserves to be valued, respected and dignified by its very being.

There is a theme of forgiving. There is a theme of gratitude.

This leads the way for some of us to be present enough to listen to Mother Earth. As she is too depleted, she is not able to nurture and nourish as we need her to. The communication is that she needs to be allowed to replenish herself so she may nurture and sustain us along with all of life.
