Yes, there was a beautiful Full Moon in Taurus at 24 degrees on 11/15/2024

Uranus in Taurus had been conjunct the Moon illuminated by the brilliant Sun in Scorpio.

The theme being questions about freedom and liberation. Along with matters that pertain to the earthy sensuous bodies we inhabit.

Taurus is a Fixed Earth sign who operates via interconnection with the material world in which we dwell. Uranus in Taurus conjunct the Moon in opposition to the Scorpio Sun marks this as a significant point of transition. Since Scorpio is a sign of transformation and regeneration.

Taurus, with issues pertaining to self esteem and what our values are finds us caught in a teaching moment. The Taurus Full Moon brings to our attention the need for self reflection that lends itself to understanding what’s going on.

As the awakening, brought about via Uranus in Taurus, shakes rattles and rolls our consciousness we find ourselves in the midst of a reckoning.

A reckoning through which the working out of consequences that got manifested as retribution can now be made sense of within the karmic laws of cause and effect.

To keep going as we must is to continue to move forward in this teaching learning moment. This is the key.

There are many zodiacal influences that have the capacity to breathe life into the awareness of new ideas and original thoughts. New impulses and understandings emerging from the depths of outer planetary influences.

This is particularly significant as we are in the shadow of Mercury as it stations Rx on 11/26/2024 at 22 degrees Sagittarius. Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter concerns itself with the law and justice among other topics.

Prior to Mercury stationing Rx, significantly of note is that on 11/19/2024 Pluto makes its ingress to Aquarius. It will transit through Aquarius for the next 20 years. Always an exciting shift when Pluto changes signs because it travels so slowly and its influence is so strongly felt on a global level.

Aquarius, is ruled by Saturn and Uranus. It is a Fixed Air sign. It is a freedom loving sign that values and stands for humanitarian ideals.

The Fixed energy of Aquarius has the potential to bring about ways to persevere on projects that support life and community. It could be projects that emerge from inventive original ideas which Pluto in Aquarius has the potential to inspire.

Its main motivation is in service of freedom and liberation for all. Aquarius is a truth seeking, fair minded egalitarian sign that values all of life. Pluto’s action and motivation contains the potential towards non discriminate destruction whose ultimate goal is in service of the process of regeneration and transformation, towards life. Hence, this is a powerful transit.

Uranus, being the ruler of Aquarius, transiting through Taurus, while Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio begins its transit through Aquarius could very well imply some sort of revelation can be at hand. A gestalt “aha” moment whose goal is to guide us towards freedom and liberation.

This potential is contained within the inherent genius of innovation and original thinking Uranus inspires. “The seed of the new is in the shell of the old”, describes Uranus’s influence as ruler of Aquarius.

Mercury Rx in Sagittarius along with Pluto in Aquarius are truth seeking signs. So we move forward from the Full Moon moment of culmination on 11/15/2024 into a waning Moon cycle of mind in service of breaking through the fog of deception towards truth.

This was the configuration on November 15th during the Full Moon in Taurus.

With Saturn moving forward at 12 degrees Pisces we must embrace the lesson spoken of in the old adage, “Hypocrisy is the compliment vice pays to virtue.” Not quite sure who said it, however, it seems that Saturn transiting through Pisces is bringing the need to be mindful of how deception and deceit in service of power for one’s own gain fogs up the greater influence that Saturn in Pisces in its best intention has to offer.

This was the configuration on the 17th. When the Moon in Gemini conjunct Jupiter constellated the square with Neptune. Then to Saturn in Pisces as it forms an opposition to Mercury in Sagittarius.

We see this played out through the potential influence of Saturn and Neptune in Pisces square to Jupiter in Gemini opposing Mercury in Sagittarius.

The struggle for truth and justice prevails upon us as we are witness by the result of what happens when people committed to power at the expense of truth paid their compliment to virtue.

We are witness to this being done as deceptive self interests to uphold vices, compelled by an addiction to power which is motivated by self aggrandizement devoid of truth, integrity and courage.

The need to heal this dynamic in a meaningful way is a component of this teaching moment. This teaching moment which is in practical terms a healing moment we must keep on working through.

As Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Aquarius make their influences felt, there is the potential to trigger an awareness that leads to an understanding of how each and every one of our lives truly interlinks with others.

Always, we are all in this together.

To remember to live in truth. To be grounded and centered in reality is the key to survival and healthy sustainable flourishing prosperity.

When we are centered and grounded in truth we are able to be fully present. When we embrace each moment of our lives by being fully present we hold the ultimate point of power. It is where trust, respect and love are found.

To be mindful and to possess the awareness of how interlinked we all are leads towards healing split thinking and divisiveness based in fear.

To acknowledge the fear with compassion so as to have the courage to be present with another, even in the midst of conflict is to find a new way towards a better life for all.

To dialogue and communicate in order to diplomatically negotiate viable solutions for all is the key to a healthy society.

To learn to compromise without sacrificing integrity, truth and our humanity is motivated by wisdom gotten through taking courageous leaps forward. I see this as the gift and promise of Pluto in Aquarius as we continue on.

This moment brought to us by the virtue of Saturn and Neptune in Pisces making its frustrating influences felt with the growing pain of resistance elicited via square and opposition. Specifically that being the energy of the square to Mercury in Sagittarius which forms an opposition to Jupiter in Gemini.

Perhaps it is a result of “cancel culture” banning conflict from the discussion that results in the moment we are living through now. An unhealthy phobia to conflict that compulsively avoids discord and confrontation at all costs.

Aquarius ruled by Uranus and Saturn, has enabled this Full Moon to serve as the climactic moment that is the prelude to an awakening.

Even though outcomes motivated by hypocrisy lacking in wisdom and truth have brought us to this curious point.

Pluto in Aquarius, Mercury in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Gemini, has the potential to influence the minds, hearts and actions of those of who have the capacity to know and understand better. To navigate and negotiate a way towards a sustainable world based on an understanding that we are all in this together.

Pluto in Aquarius as Uranus continues its transit through Taurus has the capacity to bring to mind the visceral awareness that we are indeed a global community. Insomuch as we are all learning, growing and sharing together.

Since it is truth that no matter what spectrum of thought your beliefs are akin to, we are all in this together.

The bulls are clearly expressing their agreement and are in support of an evolved humanity.

Uranus in Taurus having been conjunct the Moon in opposition to Scorpio Sun has planted the seed for us to become aware. As William Shakespeare has said so eloquently,” The truth will set you free.” So let’s be grateful that Scorpio is about exposing the bare bones of truth. As Uranus in Taurus serves as the great liberator to set us free.

We seem to be in the vivid midst of needing to transform the way we interact with the status quo.

Out Of Ashes ~ Rebirth

On November 1, 2024 when the Sun and the Moon are conjunct at 9 degrees Scorpio at 8:47 AM ESDT, a new season, a new beginning unfolds.

Scorpio is about passionate immersion into life. It’s a fascinating paradox for Scorpio since Pluto, its ruling planet contains death in its symbolism.

There is the possibility of an actual physical death however it is also a metaphorical symbolic death. The purpose of this death is to foster letting go. Thus making space for the needed transformation and rebirth to take place.

New perspectives on life emerge as a result of soul searching responses to circumstances that the process of Scorpio and Pluto evoke.

This brings to mind the metaphorical archetype of the Phoenix. Story has it that in the throes of a life or death situation the Phoenix wills itself into flames.The destruction of itself by its own willful means leads to its resurrection and rebirth. Emerging out of its own ashes vibrant and vividly alive, rejuvenated and ready to take flight.

Taurus ruled by Venus and its polar opposite to Scorpio acquires and values its earthly acquisitions. Whereas Scorpio finds itself compelled to let go of the material world. Frequently having its trust tested, Scorpio takes the plunge in order to birth something better. Thus out of the ashes the Phoenix rises.

In this regard Scorpio has the ability to see the darkness and the light as two different sides of the same coin. Without judgement there is a willingness to be bone chilling honest with oneself and others. Scorpio must adamantly get to the heart of any matter unless it prefers to be veiled in mystery. Mystery is another resource of Scorpio.

The Sun/Moon conjunction in Scorpio forms a square to Pluto at 29 degrees Capricorn. The question of power must be explored and considered very carefully as we enter this new cycle of the Scorpio Sun/Moon conjunction.

This is set off harmoniously as Sun/Moon in Scorpio is trine to Saturn Rx at 12 degrees Pisces. This insures slow steady movement forward with care and consideration as part of the process.

The sextile that Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio forms to Neptune in Pisces involves acknowledging great power which must be addressed with humility. Neptune in Pisces must be in service when needed as its resource is compassion, understanding and mercy. While powerful Pluto in Capricorn can work together with Neptune in this sextile. Pluto in Capricorn keeps Neptune’s watery dissolution of boundaries intact. This becomes a benign aspect that supports the transformation and shifting energies of the time we are living in.

There is a shift in our conscious understanding of what really matters.

Part of this shift is due to the influence of Saturn transiting through Pisces, among other things. Such as Mars in Cancer at 29 degrees exactly opposite Pluto at 29 degrees Capricorn. This is a penetrating dynamic.

In the context of the moment we are living in, yes, there is danger. The volatility of this contact has the capacity to evoke fear and rage. However, when understanding becomes part of the equation, which is very possible during this cycle, the power of this moment has benign potential. It can be understood to be a dynamic to bring many of us together to support life. Definitely NOT senseless destruction.

Pluto sextile/Neptune Rx at 27 degrees Pisces as Pluto sextile to Mercury in Scorpio has the capacity to open the mind to a deeper understanding of what’s what.

We have at this New Moon a magnificent flow of the mind’s use of information in service of getting to the bare bones of what really matters. This energizes the potential to get some good work done.

Neptune Rx in Pisces at 27 degrees activates compassion and understanding. This opens the door to clarification and connection. There is no hiding behind delusions when Mercury in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn are involved.

Seems like the energies of these powerful aspects occurring around the Mars/Cancer opposition to Pluto/Capricorn eases some of the tensions and challenges arising from this contact.

This is a time where the blending of these harmonious relationships has the potential to imbue this moment with wisdom. Through a harmonious blending of energies comes clarification. This eases some of the stress evoked via the Mars/Pluto opposition. It is also good practice to reflect and ask the question, what is this moment teaching us?

It is fascinating to reflect on how the Mother/Father polarity is being played out within this Mars/Cancer opposition to Pluto/Capricorn. It can be interpreted as an inherent need to develop a new relationship to authority that is healthier and much more humane than the one we are shifting away from.

This includes a new paradigm pertaining to the healthy balance between unconditional love along with conditional love. Just in time for Pluto’s ingress to Aquarius on 11/19/2024 where it will remain until 3/8/2043. And in all likelihood so will these themes.

Mars in Cancer sextile to Uranus Rx in Taurus as Uranus Rx is sextile to Neptune in Pisces brought together via its trine to Mars. Grounded in genius, innovation and understanding we carry on.

Truly seeds of innovation have taken hold. It’s the creative fire and fury of Mars in the nurturing sign of Cancer happily creatively utilizing new ideas coaxed into consciousness via the Neptune/Pisces trine.

All this while the bissextile from Neptune Rx in Pisces to Uranus Rx in Taurus trine to Pluto in Capricorn at 29 degrees sextile to Neptune Rx at 27 degrees Pisces, plays on…..

This tunes our consciousness to new possibilities that have the capacity to open the door to newfound perceptions.

Then we have a Grand Water Trine of Mercury at 28 degrees Scorpio to Mars 29 degrees Cancer trine to Neptune Rx at 27 degrees Pisces.

Water pertains to our emotions, to the unconscious. This Grand Water Trine has the potential to evoke awareness of the depth perception of intuitive understanding. To influence our consciousness this moment so that the mind is utilized in service of our feeling nature. It is understood in psychological thinking that our feelings and emotions do not lie. The culprit to be aware of is the mind. It’s the mind that has the capacity to hide and distort usually in service of a false need. More about that another time.

Our feeling, intuitive nature is to be valued specifically at this time. Feelings always tell the truth. Clearly there is an opportunity to speak truth to power at this New Moon in Scorpio.

( It’s up to us to understand and know how our mind must be fed the truth of our feelings. To allow our mind to be used in service of accurately identified feelings. Then the mind as “mission control” is put to good use in order to navigate and negotiate strategies where the need indicated by the feeling can be met.)

“Beside a waterfall…..”

So now we have Venus at 17 degrees Sagittarius in opposition to Jupiter Rx at 20 degrees Gemini. Jupiter square to Neptune Rx along with Saturn Rx in Pisces as Venus in Sagittarius is square to Saturn Rx and Neptune Rx in Pisces. “And the band played on…..” sang the Temptations.

What does it all mean?

“Without the pain there’d be no growing, without the hurt we’d never learn.” -graffiti found on a bathroom stall wall-

Without the challenge of the squares and oppositions there’d be no growing. Without the boulders of challenge we’d never learn. So gratefully we got some!

This challenging bunch of planets evokes conflicts around laws, truth and resistance. Resistance from a psychological perspective is a component of growth via the healthy instinctual need to individuate. A birthing of one’s self. A Scorpio theme of the Phoenix once again rising up out of its own embers of glowing ashes.

With Sagittarius and Gemini being the influencing signs seeking the meaning, acknowledging it and communicating about it is a component of the theme.

However, there is more.

We have Venus in Sagittarius, planet of love, peace, beauty and harmony, living in the material world while respectfully upholding laws of justice. Venus transiting through Sagittarius in opposition to Jupiter transiting through Gemini.

So Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius, is transiting through Gemini. Gemini being the sign in polar opposition to Sagittarius on the Zodiac wheel. With Jupiter transiting through Gemini we put words to the laws so as to put them into practice. Jupiter is a planet that expands with optimism what it is being influenced by. In this case Gemini. With hope and optimism this placement provides meaning to our lives and respect for the law.

In other words, Jupiter transiting through Gemini gives meaning to the information it gathers in order to transmit it. Venus in Sagittarius has the capacity to use the necessary information to uphold the law. To make things right by establishing balance that harmonizes with life.

Then there is the challenge of the squares they both form to Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. Saturn being zigzagged in its solidified somber demeanor via the mystical watery solvent that is Pisces. Pisces ruled by Neptune is part of this challenging equation.

Saturn and Neptune in Pisces forming a challenging aspect to Venus in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Gemini imbues this moment with an important struggle.

The Saturn/Neptune in Pisces energy charges up Venus and Jupiter to do battle with the Neptune fog of deceit and delusion. To lift Saturn and Neptune up to the transcendent place of love, compassion, mercy and understanding. However most importantly and most necessary Neptune and Pisce is about service, “to serve or to suffer” says Isabel Hickey about Pisces. (As the Nodal Axis shall get ready to shift to Pisces/Virgo in mid-January 2025, coming up shortly. The operative concept added to “serve or suffer”, shall be rescue. More about that another time)

It seems to me that this moment is testing us as we navigate the challenges of this double t-square and opposition.

This includes the Pluto/Capricorn opposition to Mars/Cancer.

For a healthy world, country, community and family, allowing for disagreements and conflicts to emerge ultimately makes way for the new systems and structures to come into being.

This New Moon in Scorpio allows us to enter into a new phase of engagement, at least here in the U.S. as we are facing the most crucial election of our lives, our country’s and the Global Community. To my mind the astrology is guiding us as members of the commons to hold our elected officials feet to the fire. So to keep them honest. To guide them away from being sucked into the fog of Neptune. So to prevent them from sucking us into it with them. To awaken out of the “deep moral abyss” into a return to integrity and ethical morality that supports life.

If things “escalate to de escalate”, as economics Professor Jeffrey Sachs says, “it would ruin everybody’s day.”

This energy holds true to the relationships in our own personal and interpersonal sphere.

This is the beauty of this moment. So much wisdom available to us.The key is to stay fully present and to be open and aware. And always to be bone chilling honest with ourselves so we know who we are, where we are coming from and what’s coming at us from everybody else.

So remember to breathe deeply, be mindful and aware. To know and trust that we are in the midst of great challenges being cooled down by trines and sextile’s.

As we keep on keeping on to know and trust that we are in the midst of finding and discovering solutions that are innovative and life affirming.

Becoming Real…..

There was a Full Moon in Aries at 24 degrees on 10/17/2024 at 7:26 AM ESDT

It was a Full Moon in Aries so heavily aspected it read like an Agatha Christie mystery.

Most notable was that the Aries Full Moon in opposition to the Libra Sun was contained within a Grand Square. This Grand Square made complete by Mars in Cancer opposite to Pluto in Capricorn.

A Cardinal Cross.

A dynamic flow of energies that pertains to relationships, balance, assertion of self, self in partnership, self in business and marriage. That was one dynamic of the cross.

The other dynamic brings to light issues revolving around authority, home, mother, father, systems, structures, power and transformation.

Powerful dynamic energies are amassed when a Grand Cardinal Cross is constellated. To have knowledge of these influences opens the mind to insights that supports breakthroughs in awareness that opens the mind and heart to understanding.

The Libra Sun in opposition to the Moon in Aries conjunct Chiron evokes vulnerability. It’s the vulnerability of the Wounded Healer that opens the door to knowledge. Chiron, the Wounded Healer has the gift of understanding and comprehension acquired by working through unbearable pain.

Chiron Rx in Aries conjunct the Aries Moon helps us to drop down into the humble teachings of the Wounded Healer, symbolized by Chiron.

This dynamic forms a square to Mars in Cancer at 22 degrees. Continued healing and integration is suggested by this powerful angle. This influences our focus and attention towards the alignment of body, mind, heart and soul.

Mars in Cancer in opposition to Pluto in Capricorn sets two very dynamic energies at odds with each other. Mars symbolizes the birth process, the beginning. Whereas Pluto symbolizes death via demolition and destruction.

Pluto in Capricorn is motivated by a force so powerful whose destruction ultimately seeks getting down to the honest bare bones. Mars in Cancer seeks to protect the structures of home. While Pluto in its final vestiges in Capricorn seeks to tear down structures and systems that no longer serve.

I believe this powerful dynamic proves to be a necessary interplay that is illuminating for all the global community to see that we cannot go on in the same way as we have been.

Solar Eclipse/New Moon at 10 degrees Libra

September 21, 2024, was the day of the Autumn/Libra Equinox.

The day when the Sun was exactly above the Equator. It was the time when the day and the night were equal in length.

In the Northern Hemisphere time to say goodbye to Summer. In the Southern Hemisphere time to say goodbye to Winter.

The Fall Equinox marks the Sun’s transition into Libra which lasts until October 22, 2024. This is a time of balance and harmony.

The Libra Equinox is an auspicious time to bring forward new energy and insights that can serve to support our goals.

This is the beginning of the harvest and the gathering of fruits related to work. It’s a time to consider and evaluate our work. To see what’s what, so we have a sense of what is needed to continue on. It is beneficial to acknowledge gratitude for our labor and productivity. This sets the stage to move forward feeling encouraged and energized to accomplish and complete more projects.

To acknowledge what we have planted, rooted and raised throughout the year along with what we are leaving behind as we let go in order to keep moving forward.

This took place when the Sun conjunct the Moon in Libra @ 10 degrees 46” conjunct Mercury @ 11 degrees Libra.

With the South Node being part of this equation at 6 degrees Libra this is the time to contemplate “what has come of what has been.”

The South Node holds within it lessons from the past either learned or needing to be remembered as we move forward at this New Moon in Libra.

With Venus, the ruler of Libra, we have the symbol of the scales seeking to balance what is fair and just. In light of unfolding world events, this is a good thing.

Giving rise towards the kind of thinking that enables the public to reflect on the meaning of justice within the law. Justice and the law being one of Libra’s topics.

To be mindful that laws and the implementation of them must be carried out by lawyers, legislators and government officers. These elected officials must be guided by principles of integrity with a high regard for a clear sense of ethics and ethical behavior. This will insure equality as we all have a Constitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Mercury at 11 degrees Libra, activates the mind towards bringing logic to what is not logical. Mercury in Libra becomes energized via communication, To feed and stimulate ideas that support comprehensive ways to establish balance, peace and harmony.

Venus as the ruling planet of this New Moon in Libra, in the sign of Scorpio at 11 degrees forms a Grand Water Trine with Mars at 15 degrees Cancer which trines Saturn Rx at 14 degrees Pisces.

This Grand Trine holds within it the potential to influence feelings and ideas towards the trajectory of diplomacy. The harmonics of Venus to Mars and to Saturn has the capacity to evoke compassion and understanding at a time when change via the desire to rethink perspectives and goals is clearly needed.

Jupiter in Gemini trine to Mercury in Libra has the potential to evoke dialogue and discussion. The intention and motivation is to bring about balance, peace and harmony. As we seem to be in the midst of chaos brought on by the seduction of the numinous as well as the wholly delusional. (A byproduct of Neptune and Saturn in Pisces is one reason.)

There is also a phenomena in our basic psychological makeup called “splitting” which results in devaluing life. To split which is about making one person good and another evil is a part of our psychology that does not keep us safe, sane or secure. We might think it does, but if we look around, not really.

Our tendency towards “splitting” must be replaced with intelligent understanding and respect as we learn the concept of inclusion. Inclusion, being one of the antidotes to splitting off.

We can bring a sense of wonder to how we relate to others and the world as we acknowledge our differences. We might even find ourselves celebrating those differences.

To understand and allow for the reality that, truth be told, we all have different ways in which we differentiate as well as sharing the need to come together. It is true that “no person is an island”.

This gets played out through the experience of the simplicity of our shared basic human needs.

When viewed from this perspective the movements of the planets and the angles they form supports life and how we align with our own attitudes, thoughts and actions.

In the realm of phenomenology and the realm of possibility these interpretations are based on my own subjective perception. Yes, that is true and I own it.

Years of studying the basic meanings of the planets, the signs and the meaning of their symbols informs my understanding. To witness and experience the energies created as they interact within the angles they form serves to give meaning to the lives we are leading. Particularly at this critical juncture in time.

It’s the relationship of these astrological components combined with an awareness of events occurring in the world at this time that makes me wonder.

I wonder how we can work with the understanding of these solid planetary bodies as they traverse the Zodiac to change the trajectory we are on towards the trajectory of balance harmony, dignity and justice for all.

I marvel at how the movements of the planets through the Zodiac might enable us with our understanding to support this chaotic moment of maddening metamorphosis we are in.

I see this becoming particularly accentuated by Mars making its long transit through Cancer. Mars with its symbolism as the God of War. Planet Mars as a warring planet can also be viewed as a surge towards life itself with its inherent need to survive, to live, to thrive.

With Mars forming a square to the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Libra this is particularly significant. With Mars energy there is the probability that a Yin/Yang balance can be achieved. This is a possibility as Mars the ruler of Aries is part of the relationship dynamic in its opposition to Libra.

Mars transits through the sign of Cancer, the sign of home, of mother, of nourishment and support held in high esteem. This could be experienced as a stress which can be understood to be a sort of growing pain.

The sign of Cancer held within the fiery energy of planet Mars requires some sort of compromise in order to endure such a dichotomy. It’s the awareness needed to find a way to make this combo work where some interesting transformation and growth can happen.

As Cancer seeks stability, Mars the Warrior seeks to provide and protect. During this long transit of Mars in Cancer we have the opportunity to develop skills and ways to establish stability as a process of birth and new beginnings.

As in the process of childbirth itself there is the pain of individuation and separation that holds anger and frustration within the experience of it. The screams of agony release some of the pain and allow for endurance as mother serves as the vehicle to bring this being into the world.

Mars in Cancer teaches us about anger as an emotion that is part of our lived human experience. When managed in a healthy productive way utilized by our will anger is a life affirming organizing force.

Quite often anger indicates the need to individuate, to give birth to some component of our being. When accurately identified via self diagnosis anger is an organizing constructive emotion. Its goal is to support life. To restore balance, diplomacy, peace and harmony. Never, ever to destroy.

The square of Jupiter to Saturn and Neptune in Pisces begs the questions that emerge out of the awareness of a conscious frustration around differentiating between complicity and diplomacy.

The anxiety that gets evoked when Neptune and Saturn in Pisces are involved must be managed. Saturn Rx in Pisces along with Neptune contains a resource that supports the possibility of creative connection to a transcendent consciousness.

Neptune being the higher octave of Venus holds within its energy the awareness of love in the spiritual sense of the word. However, transcendent awareness of deeper realms of possibility must be grounded and centered in adherence to basic laws and truths. The golden rules based on truths that stipulate laws that inherently have the capacity to guide and support our experience of being human, here in the material world on planet Earth.

Jupiter, planet of expansion and enthusiasm is also connected to the law. Laws that are an inherent part of legal systems with intentions to guarantee justice under the law.

In astrology Eclipse season is when the Full Moon and New Moon cycles conjunct the Nodal Axis. As it does on 9/17/2024. This Lunar Eclipse occurs as the Moon at 25 degrees Pisces is conjunct the North Node at 6 degrees Aries. Included in that conjunction is Neptune Rx at 28 degrees Pisces.

All this as the Sun at 25 degrees in Virgo opposes the Moon at 25 degrees Pisces.

The Moon as it begins a new cycle holds the feminine principle of our inner intuitive emotional body integrated with the Sun. The Sun holds the embodiment of the masculine principle. @ 11 degrees conjunct the Sun ~ a new cycle begins as the Sun moves thru the sign of Virgo.

In the words of Robert Hand, “Virgo approaches the physical universe as an obstacle to which one must adopt a framework through which one can learn to be effective and a reality that must be served.”

He goes on to describe Virgo as what happens when Leo comes up against being called out or reprimanded.

Virgo bows in deference. Then begins the process where it goes to work finding the most efficient pathway towards the practical use of what is actually available to be utilized.

Often attracted to work in connection with their hands. Virgo imbues its natives with situations of doing work which in some way requires the use of their hands.

Mercury the Ruling Planet of Virgo is about the application of practicality and logic in service of work and health.

This differs from how Mercury operates as ruler of Gemini. Mercury inspires Gemini to seek information via communication. Thus, Gemini gathers info to be stored for later utilization when needed. This gives Gemini a predisposition towards being a social butterfly.

However Virgo is about process and getting the job done in a hands on way. It’s the meticulous conscientiousness of Virgo which emerges from a place of humility.

The Moon is Full in Aquarius at 27 degrees

Being illuminated by its opposition to the Sun in Leo at 27 degrees, this Full Moon contains joyful Leo energy.

Leo ruled by the Sun is beaming brightly, shining its rays of sunlight onto cool Uranian Aquarian waves.

Aquarius’s cool intellectual energy stimulates thoughtfulness with concerns for both self and other.

Leo is focused on the glory and courage of its selfhood.

When things are going well, Leo is loving every minute of it.

A healthy sense of oneself is a process that is required as a component of healthy human development. Leo’s bright creative selfhood is a necessary process for a well lived life. Leo season is a time to celebrate embodied selfhood as a means of bringing to fruition the ways in which we seek to create the life we desire to lead.

The Sun in Leo at 27 degree is conjunct Mercury Rx at 26 degrees Leo. This forms a square which is a 90 degree angle to Uranus at 27 degrees Taurus. These are character-building angles.

Uranus in Taurus at 27 degrees, the ruling planet of Aquarius forms a square to the Moon in Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus being the pinnacle of that square brings us back to the Moon in its opposition to the Sun conjunct Mercury Rx in Leo. So forming a t-square.

This influence has an electrifying charged affect since Uranus and Aquarius are conductors of energy.

Uranus’s electrifying energy serves to shake loose decaying brittle structures. This influence agitates that which is stagnant and irrelevant in order to allow the seeds of new original, creative ideas to emerge. Aquarius is an energy that seeks to humanize humanity and establish societies based on equality.

This is a reassuring idea that offers an understanding about this chaotic moment we find ourselves living thru. The tensions and frustrations being triggered by the t-square serves to shake us loose from antiquated systems and structures that require a new vision via innovative rethinking.

To allow the discomfort caused by the tension and frustration of the t-square to become conscious in order to heal and find life affirming ways to go forward.

In this modern technological age, which has been brought to us by the genius of Uranus’s influence, we are able to gather evidence of happenings otherwise kept hidden from the general public view.

With the work of very brave courageous journalists we get to bear witness to practices of barbaric cruelty being brutally inflicted upon mass populations of fellow earthlings. This serves as a shocking but necessary wake up call.

It is good that Uranus and many brave journalists are doing their jobs.

When we are aware of the truth even in its ugly Algol form, it sets us free. Uranus in Taurus at the pinnacle of the t-square formed by the Full Moon has the potential to shake loose assumptions and beliefs no longer valid.

As we listen and learn about antiquated barbaric power plays that do much more harm than good, we can understand about the “deep moral abyss” that must be altered, corrected and updated.

More and more people are becoming aware that power must come from within.

More and more people are becoming conscious and aware of the need to reclaim our humanity and to be respectful of all life.

The square angle Uranus in Taurus forms to the Sun/Moon opposition in Leo/Aquarius has the capacity to accentuate matters of Earth concerns. The writer Fernando J. Munez states in his book “La Cocinera De Costamar”,”We will not be equal until we are all eating equally well.”

Perhaps this idea’s time has come and is being implanted into the collective consciousness via the transit of Uranus in Taurus. I affirm it to be so.

It is profoundly significant that we have the presence of Mercury Rx in Leo conjunct the Sun here. Sun in Leo as the embodied self combined with Mercury Rx in Leo enhances courageous communication going forward. Mercury Rx slows things down so we remember to stop, look and listen.

Time to open up, talk and share with each other as we continue to progress thru this moment of metamorphosis.

One more point about Aquarius. The Aquarius Full Moon holds within its influence the ability to detach.

Aquarius’s detachment provides the ability to see thru a lens with a wider perspective. To view a conundrum or blockage of any kind from a deeper perception. This creates a fertile ground in which to find new possibilities.

The critical mass of this moment that we find ourselves in has the potential to be a breakthrough moment. It begins with the awareness of a need that is stimulated by a powerful felt sense. A felt sense that must be heard in order to get guidance on how to resolve the tension and frustration of the t-square.

That is why when we see the presence of demanding difficult aspects it indicates the perchance towards growth which serves to build grace and strength. The more challenging the chart, the deeper the potential for growth and evolution.

It’s thru holding mindfully the tension and frustrations constellated by these dynamic planetary configurations that the necessary changes begin to flow.

The theme of communication, talking and listening is being carried throughout this Full Moon in Aquarius as we continue on.

What with Mars at 19 degrees Gemini conjunct Jupiter at 17 degrees Gemini. We have Mars the planet of assertion via its inherent instinctual need towards survival expanding this impulse in its conjunction to Jupiter.

Jupiter having a connection to justice and that which is both ethical and lawful while Mars does have that martial component in its repertoire of characteristics. In Gemini both have the capacity to bring wit and mirth to some dire and quite serious moments.

However, even in the midst of power play and chaos the potential for cooler heads to prevail is possible. Gemini ruled by Mercury is a Mutable Air sign. Fiery Mars transiting thru light Airy Gemini has the potential to bring a sense of wonder, curiosity and wit. A bit of parody fostered by the genius of the Full Moon in Aquarius evokes common ground as the power of humor touches the heart.

We have Venus in Virgo sharing rulership of Mercury with Mars in Gemini. Albeit it’s a square configuration it could be a time to seek balance. The Yin/Yang combo of Venus and Mars even in tense aspect with each other must still try to find a way towards some logical, dynamic well thought out diplomacy and love.

To be motivated to go towards the Gemini love of dialogue, and discussion stimulated by curiosity. While Venus in Virgo seeks to serve the interest of logic and practicality. To find a way towards balance, peace and harmony.

Mars conjunct Jupiter in Gemini then becomes the pinnacle of a t-square to Saturn Rx in Pisces in opposition to Venus in Virgo. Once again boundaries boulders and challenges present themselves as opportunities for growth. Saturn Rx in Pisces brings an idealism that is out of character with Saturn, however it is a good influence at this time.

The one major caveat is that we all must call out delusional notions that perpetuate harmful decisions and behaviors. Rather to surrender to the Pisces creative conception of compassion, forgiveness and mercy. Saturn Rx in Pisces holds the capacity to establish new systems and structures that contains the seeds of a humanitarian baseline.

Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Gemini is forming a square to Neptune Rx at 29 degrees Pisces that widely conjuncts North Node at 7 degrees Aries.

Moving forward we have the capacity to orchestrate quite an interesting interplay of possibilities.

The Full Moon in Capricorn at 29 Degrees

The Moon at 29 degrees Capricorn in opposition to the Sun at 29 degrees Cancer is a point of mastery. It’s an ending. It’s a beginning.

This Full Moon in Capricorn marks the completion of a process.

In it we have the opportunity to tie up loose ends concerning our connection to our roots, our family and the past.

This is an opportune time to clarify how we got to the point we are at now in order to understand what is needed to get to the next phase of our lives.

Capricorn ruled by Saturn requires structures and systems that support stability. This is made manifest thru steady perseverance and practice. Stability is what Cancer desires which by the virtue of Capricorn’s motivation is realized.

Capricorn is about the integrity of the systems and structures that hold our world together. It also includes who we are in the public domain so it is interconnected with the reality that we share with others.

Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen states that the facts are the bones of the story. While Dr. Carl Jung says, “ You can’t heal what you don’t feel.” This Full Moon in Capricorn opposing the Cancer Sun illuminates these ideas.

This Full Moon at 29 degrees Capricorn brings into focus an awareness of the deficit of integrity pervading our societies. By becoming aware of it we can reflect on how to restore the needed integrity that enables us to become humanized again.

There is a way to create security based on trust and respect that is earned. It is built on actions and behaviors that do no harm.

The other symbol of Capricorn is the archetype of the hermit. The lone disciple climbing up the mountain to seek solitude. To persevere and practice as a disciple in order to have the integrity to stand sovereign within their own being. Their own aliveness.

This archetype gives Capricorn the reputation of being a somber serious sign. It is. However its energy within the Zodiac wheel and our lives is very necessary. There are times in some peoples lives where solitude is a place of self reclamation.

To hold our lives together. To keep on and to carry on.

This Capricorn Moon conjuncts Pluto Rx at 0 degrees Aquarius. This adds power and intensity to this culminating moment. The dynamic energy of Pluto intensifies the qualities of the Moon in Capricorn.

There is a sobriety to this moment. The movement of the planets thru the Zodiac indicates the somber significance of this moment in time. We see it getting played out as we observe and are affected by the continual unfolding of current events.

It is clear that we are in the midst of change and transformation. It is helpful to be aware of this time as a cycle of energetic shifts. Energies that actually contain various components of being that are on a continuum of life ever flowing.

To remember that we are always given opportunities to evolve, grow and support each other in sustainable ways. This moment of rapid change with its various shifts holds within it particular tendencies that have the potential to give us the wisdom we need in order to deal.

There is an understanding and awareness that comprehending death as a doorway is in the interest of supporting life. In the form of birth. This pertains to structures, habits and traditions. The ineffective structures must be cleared away. This is not easy. The process of birth is an arduous painful labor of love. As a global community the astrology indicates that we are in this process which occurs to serve as a way to lay the ground for redemption and renewal. Rebirth follows the process of death in the pantheon of Pluto.

As this Full Moon exudes a great deal of intensity via the Pluto influence we have an interesting twist in the story. The Moon conjunct Pluto Rx is in harmonious sextile to Neptune at 29 degrees Pisces.

Neptune operates in duality. The elevated influence of Neptune is to raise awareness towards consciousness that interconnects with All that Is. To bring to bear the heart of truth. The truth that in reality We are all One. Even amidst diversification and individuation. In fact diversification and individuation is what makes life interesting, both sweet and spicy. While at the same time enabling us all to thrive.

However, Neptune can be a challenging influence. It has the tendency to fog up our perceptions of reality. Neptune’s influence can bring about an uneasiness akin to existential anxiety.

However when we are aware of how our perceptions are being manipulated we can choose to wake ourselves up out of it.

Neptune’s influence must be mastered with the use of a healthy balanced ego. This allows us to open the door to the higher transcendent mysticism of Neptune. So for Neptune to be the pinnacle of this small grand trine is a helpful influence at this powerful moment we are living thru.

Having said all of that, Neptune forms a sextile to Mars at 0 degrees Gemini conjunct Uranus in Taurus at 26 degrees. This spices things up even more as the assertive life force of the Warrior, being Mars is conjunct Uranus with its sudden movements motivated towards freedom and liberation. At the same time this conjunction of Mars/Uranus is conjunct the Fixed Star Algol at 26 degrees Taurus .

Once again this, being the trine Mars/Uranus/Algol in Taurus forms to the Moon/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn is all being tempered by Neptune’s influence. Neptune at the pinnacle of this small grand trine has the capacity to act as an elixir of compassion and understanding. To allow the flow of higher consciousness to prevail.

The Mars/Uranus/Argol combination is serving a relevant purpose within this configuration. The Warrior archetype of Mars whose significant endpoint is to fight for survival as Uranus seeks to liberate and individuate. Uranus provides stimulating energy as it nourishes genuine paths towards freedom. To support and inspire original thoughts, ideas and inventions. Remember that for Uranus, “the seed of the new is in the shell of the old.”

Then we have the Fixed Star Argol to consider. Argol is understood to be the head of Medusa. It’s a fascinating phenomena whose meaning must have profound healing impacts on us each individually, locally, nationally and globally.

It is interpreted that thru the horrible ugliness emitted from the magnitude of the ghastly atrocity still pulsating from her head, that she can either protect or destroy you. The potential of the powerful metaphor that holds the enigma of Argol and the mysterious phenomena of the head of Medusa is as yet somewhat mysterious. It does seem to stand to reason that depending on whether you are behind her or in front of her she offers you either safety or being turned to stone. Indeed this is a moment of mastery as Neptune continues so very slowly moving along at 29 degrees Pisces. As the influences of the just now passing Full Moon in Capricorn being illumined by its opposition to the Cancer Sun at 29 degrees continues on, let us affirm that wisdom via this moment of mastery prevails.

Neptune and Saturn transiting thru Pisces does have the capacity to implant mercy, compassion and understanding into the mix.

Mars/Uranus conjunction in Taurus forms a square to Mercury in Leo. This brings about the potential to stimulate creative communication. Mercury gets ready to station Rx on August 4 until August 27. So the stressful energy it forms to the powerful liberating combo of the Mars/Uranus conjunction in Taurus has the potential to bring about some rethinking about our values. To become aware of what really matters.

The tension of the square requires us to find a way to work with both of these energies even as they create friction snd stress.

Cancer is a Cardinal Water sign ruled by the Moon. The awareness of our feelings and therefore our needs comes to the forefront with the New Moon in Cancer.

Cancer season is a time to reflect on our early environment, our relationships to family, be it a functional or dysfunctional one.

The Dynamics Of Change

The Full Moon in Capricorn along with the Cancer Solstice occurred on 6/21/2024 @ 1 degree Capricorn Moon in opposition to 1 degree Cancer Sun.

The Full Moon Summer Solstice occurs at the very beginning of the Sun’s ingress to Cancer at 1 degree. As this is a Full Moon, at 1 degree Capricorn, it is a moment of climactic culmination within the emergence of a new beginning.

Cancer Sun and Capricorn Moon are Cardinal signs. These are dynamic points of manifestation. They stimulate and energize into action what needs to be done in order to carry out an intention.

To be aware of their potent influence inspires our understanding of what actions are needed in order to realize our goals.

The Cancer/Summer Solstice is when the path of the Sun in the sky is farthest north in the Northern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere the Sun is furthest South.

So for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere it’s the time when the days are longer and hotter due to the longer orbit of the Sun around the Northern Hemisphere.

While in the Southern Hemisphere when the days are shorter due to less Sun, their cooler Winter begins.

Astrologically all systems go as we embrace the Cancer/Capricorn dynamic in its opposition and Full Moon culminating phase.

In Cancer we have the nurturing nourishment of unconditional love. It’s the archetype of the mother, the feminine principle. In its vulnerability Cancer grows a hard shell to stay alive, stable and secure.

Whereas, in Capricorn we have the father, the masculine principle. The qualities of discipline, responsibility, perseverance and integrity.

Capricorn seeks to strengthen the bones of a structure. Its life affirming goal is to establish a healthy vibrant, flexible sturdy foundation that supports life.

Capricorn operates comfortably while moving into elevated positions in society. When all is well, they are fine upstanding citizens. All is well when integrity, ethics, morality and principles are intact.

Capricorn doesn’t operate thru vibes and intuition. Capricorn operates thru evidenced based truths. Capricorn understands that trust and respect are earned.

All is not well when any of those premises are violated via deception, duplicity, unjustness and crookery. Lack of ethics and morality corrodes the structures and systems that need to be held together in order to sustain a thriving just and ethical society for all. Without a genuine living commitment to integrity and justice, the system upon which it was built corrodes and falls apart.

The Hermit is another Archetypal symbol of Capricorn. Capricorn’s need for solitude is an inherent component of its journey towards truth. To uphold the integrity of all things that supports a better life for all. The cool solitude that is cherished by Capricorn brings freedom where they are able to learn and grow.

Capricorn and its ruling planet Saturn points us towards our destiny thru the challenges and blockages we find ourselves in. When we are able to step back, breathe and reflect on our uninvited situations we can have insights about them. How did this happen? How did we end up here?
