On 7/29/2026 the phenomenon of the “Barbault Basket” became a part of the Full Moon in Aquarius story.
To visualize the Aquarius Moon/Pluto conjunction in opposition to the Sun/Jupiter conjunction in Leo as the basket handle.
So this dynamic Lunation cycle becomes utilized to carry the interconnecting energies of the outer planets.
To my mind, the shape of the basket illuminates a visceral way to ponder these rare configurations as an evolutionary riddle. An evolutionary riddle which has the potential to give meaning to the process of change and transformation we find ourselves living through.
To interpret the significant value of these configurations would best be understood through the lens of process.
As we move through our daily lives, which in itself is its own process we can bring our awareness to a fascinating riddle that contains notions and ideas about the experience of our lives. As we move through the extraordinary ordinariness of our lives while unprecedented events unfold.
The fascinatingly rare configuration of these planetary energies invites us to imagine a richer understanding of the moment we are living through. Not as a qualitative prediction but as a process unfolding with energies that are just there for our divine creative intuitive understanding.
First we have the minor grand trine consisting of Uranus at 4 degrees Gemini as the pinnacle. With Uranus sextile to Jupiter at 6 degrees Leo conjunct the Sun at 5 degrees.
This then forms a trine to Neptune conjunct Saturn in Aries at 4 degrees and 14 degrees respectively. As Saturn conjunct Neptune in Aries completes the minor grand trine by forming a sextile to Uranus.
It would diminish our capacity to imagine the possibilities inherent in such rare planetary formations if we base the interpretation on conventional ideas. Particularly what with Uranus itself at play. Uranus, the planet of original thought, innovation, freedom and liberation in the sign of Gemini as the pinnacle of the minor grand trine.
Uranus in Gemini pertains to the function of the mind and communication. It is beneficial to recognize that we are moving through a time where innovative ideas are necessary. Communicating about ideas, concepts and inventions as we acknowledge the circumstances of this era in order to focus on finding solutions.
We must utilize our human understanding and logic in order to question everything. To always check in and focus on whether ideas and inventions are life affirming for the greater good of all. The harmonious interconnection of these planets affords us this possibility.
Then inherent in Uranus’s sextile to Sun in Leo conjunct Jupiter we have expansive notions of identity motivated by creative well thought out impulses. Or not. It depends on how self aware we are and what our intentions and motivations are.
Keep in mind we are all always evolving at different levels depending upon our particular circumstances and basic life and identity orientations.
The trine that Neptune conjunct Saturn in Aries forms to the Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo reverberates systemic and structural changes that could go either way. “And it all comes down to you, well you know that it does.” So sings Stevie Knicks in her song Gypsy.
Here are some choices we do have; # 1 ~ to either connect with our own humanity so that through a connection to our compassion and understanding we can take actions centered in a life affirming route that values ourselves and each other. We can practice ethical behaviors and moral principles in our lives as well as elect into government people who have a strong moral and ethical code. Deliberate bright people who legislate laws to be upheld in order to effect shifts and transformations that supports the collective consciousness as a whole.
The other way appears to be the trajectory we are currently on which contains rigid antiquated paradigms resulting in distortions of ego and basic bodily rhythms. Resulting in needs getting lost in the addictive fog that gets played out within a cauldron of divergence through a mismanagement of impulse controls resulting in megalomaniac madness and chaos. A dangerous time requiring knowledge, awareness, compassion and respect.
To understand these ideas and influences including our own thoughts and feelings about such things gives us choice.
With Uranus in Gemini involved while in harmonious creative aspect with these other outer planets it is ours for the taking. It’s just that we must be informed and aware via evidenced based reality and truths in order to utilize our freedom to make our choice.
With Uranus in Gemini at the pinnacle of this triangle as a collective society the choice is ours. Albeit, Gemini likes trying on all different kinds of ways for the sake of quenching curiosity and knowledge.
Clearly we are in the midst of that process now.
However, it requires a critical mass of folks who are in touch with higher ideals and most importantly are well informed. Not only intellectually but on a deep soul level as well.
Psychologically we are living at a time when basic awareness of who we really are as valued human beings is what makes this moment so rare. Even beyond the astrology, albeit it is lovely to include consideration of the planets, points and signs.
This touches on the potential contained in the other minor grand trine of this configuration.
So, once again, we have Uranus in Gemini, only this time acting as the base of the minor grand trine linked to Pluto in Aquarius. These two powerful planets of change, liberation and transformation reverberating through Air signs feed on knowledge and information. Both by sextile linked to Saturn conjunct Neptune in Aries. The awakening of the Spiritual Warrior bound by the discipline, perseverance and practice of Saturn is evoked.
A willful moment of birth informed by a deep awareness of what is happening on many levels. Allowing for a gathering of wills through the Aries influence. To catalyze awareness so that people truly begin to question the display of madness they are witness to. With evidenced based information the people are questioning authority. This moment is an invitation to choose the kind of world and government that supports life.
Then what links these two minor grand trines to the handle of the basket must be the answer to the riddle?
Perhaps that was so as it was contained within the culmination of the Full Moon in Aquarius on the 29th of July, 2026. As the Sun in Leo conjunct Jupiter in its opposition to the Moon conjunct Pluto in Aquarius fired, flamed and fueled things up.
Each of us in our own ways are being initiated into a new level of consciousness. The illumination of courage and creativity contained within sound principles and beliefs that supports life. To be integrated with the innovative brilliance of Aquarius whose soul motivation is to clear the way for the new to emerge. Perhaps the danger is being made manifest through resistance to the Plutonian unconditional destruction of past outmoded paradigms. In vivid clarity antiquated systems have been coming into conscious view in order to be released.
As we are so painstakingly being challenged, each in our own way to hold the tension of the opposites. In doing so we act as catalysts to release the harmonious wisdom of the two minor grand trines to be utilized creatively.
To make way for the necessary shifts in consciousness in order to empower the will of the people to make choices that serves sustainable living.
