Wants, Needs And Desires…

Was the time the New Moon~Solar Eclipse was at 21 degrees Libra.

Libra influences our need to restore balance through listening to where the harmony resounds from. To hold both sides of the equation to find the truth that establishes equilibrium.

The New Moon/ Solar Eclipse in Libra inspired a desire to be interconnected with others or not. To understand ourselves via relationships we form with each other. That includes the relationship to ourselves.

Since this is a South Node Eclipse events might present themselves and feel like a DejaVu. Being tested as happenings that replicate the past occur. For our karmic Soul evolution it’s to make sure lessons from the past are assimilated and understood. Albeit, keep in mind that it’s a New Moon heralding in new beginnings.

The business of establishing relationships must go through the test of time. Consequently conflicts unfold. Challenges teach us to negotiate and make livable compromises that serve both sides. This is the way to develop real healthy relationships. Relationships serve as the backdrop while unconsciously reminding us of lessons from the past. Trust and respect are an important part of this equation. Within everything this is the learning curve humanity is currently in the midst of.

Truth and Beauty go hand in hand. There cannot be one without the other. For Libra Venus holds the scales of balance, harmony and justice. Intentionally seeking peace and harmony she uses her sword not as a weapon to destructively work her will. Rather as a sharp blade to cut through lies, deceptions and delusions.

The South Node is emphasized as it conjuncts the New Moon. The Nodal Axis is 24 degrees 52’ in Aries/Libra. This puts the South Node in Libra sandwiched between the Sun~Moon~and Mars at 1 degree Scorpio.

The South Node holds within it echoes of the past. Karmic lessons of the past being brought into awareness as we enter into a new cycle via the Sun/Moon conjunct in Libra.

The dynamic of this New Moon Solar Eclipse is further developed by Mercury, planet of the mind. This is in terms of comprehension and communication. This works well since comprehensive communicating supports creating a safe environment in which to listen and to respond.

Then on the other side of the New Moon stellium there is Mars at 1 degree Scorpio. Mars in Scorpio conjunct the Sun brings the vitality of life along with willful assertions colored with deep intensity. Scorpio coloring Mar’s vibration is responsible for that. To be tempered by Mercury, the Moon and Sun in Libra.

What makes this even more fascinating as we carry on is the timing of Mars energy transiting thru the powerful sign of Scorpio ruled by Pluto.

Then the story continues on with Pluto, at 27 degrees Capricorn. By design cosmically forming a square to the Nodal Axis, at 24 degrees Aries/Libra. Active change hopefully in the form of evolution is upon us. Transiting thru Cardinal signs, willful stimulated activity being the driving force.

With Pluto at the pinnacle of this square to the Nodal Axis events may serve as catalysts stimulating needed transformation. Unprecedented actions unconsciously and as of yet incomprehensibly serving as breakthroughs to awaken humanity to conscious awareness. It’s a way of making astrological sense of the substance of this cycle. Such is the energy heightened at this time with these configurations reverberating throughout all of us in its own way.

For many years now Pluto in Capricorn has been knocking away at obsolete systems and structures in order to clear the way for a renovated system of regenerated sustainability. This is a transformational moment of a new beginning that requires the lessons of the South Node in Libra to be evoked and made manifest in order to work wisely with the powerful North Node at 24 degrees Aries conjunct Eris.

This is no easy task. However, the logical understanding of our present circumstances requires a shift in consciousness. Nothing more, nothing less.

This moment calls for remembering who we are as a people’s and a planet sharing the magnificence of our great Mother Earth with respect and reverence for each other and the planet we all inhabit.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse thru the signs ~

Aries ~ This is a time of potent emotions running high that must be tempered by deep breathing meditation and/or some form of Martial Arts. This is the time of the Spiritual Warrior where wisdom must prevail. Powerful passionate energy must be channeled and focused to support the good of all. In that way you are coming back to yourself with your integrity intact as you move forward with clarity.

Taurus ~ This is a great moment of solidifying your understanding of your finances in relationship to your value systems in an unusual way. Perhaps doors will be opening up to a whole new creative way of thinking. Something in this moment is making you yearn for some centering and nourishment thru some creative work. Then again, perhaps some creative work is allowing you to see things in a very different light than you ever have before. Either way some of the past upheavals could be beginning to make sense.

Gemini ~ This moment is giving you a view of yourself that could be bringing up some self doubts. It’s just part of a great transformation taking place that is stimulating your mind to view things in a different light. Perhaps some extra education would be a useful place to channel all your curiosity. I also suggest meditation and yoga as a way to balance yourself as we move through this powerful moment of change and transitions.

Cancer ~ As ever, at the pinnacle of this moment, perhaps reminiscing on the past. Do take the time to become aware of your lessons from the past that emerge from memories or current events. Take the time to be with yourself in a nurturing way to set an intention moving forward that contains what you value most.

Leo ~ A time of remembering in order to let go. A time of understanding then moving forward. Take all that you know and understand about your life and yourself, that includes your current circumstances and set your new intention moving forward from here.

Virgo ~ Use this powerful moment to focus on what you love to do the most. Preferably something creative that requires skills already at your disposal. To hold steady in the midst of great transformation and change is the way this New Moon Solar Eclipse is testing you. Venus transiting thru your sign in its opposition to Saturn in Pisces holds you in a place of inspiration as you focus your energies on what you love and value.

Libra ~ ✨🌞✨ Happy Solar Return! And a powerful one it is at that. Being held by the power of this New Moon Solar Eclipse use the wisdom of past knowledge to move forward into a true presence. Let this moment be a time to set a new intention for the year ahead.

Scorpio ~ So much energy and power please be sure to take care of yourself. In the midst of so much energy you must integrate the lessons from the past that have to do with relationships in order to move forward into healthy self hood.

Sagittarius ~ This is a sensitive New Beginning where setting your new intention within so much change and transformation gives it even more power. This is a moment of true manifestation for you so take your time to envision what you want, need and desire in order to bring what matters to you the most into your life now.

Capricorn ~ On one level there is some stress and tension triggered by the powerful energies of this moment on another level it’s actually a great growing pain. The sort of thing that is bound to change your understanding of yourself and those around you for the rest of your life. So breathe, hang in there and keep going.

Aquarius ~ Shake, rattle and roll is the energy of this time. This moment is asking you to focus on the tasks at hand. Hold strong to what matters the most. Set your sights on your new intention. Something about innovative stability. To hold the dichotomies on so many different levels in order to ultimately make it all work. You got this! Just keep going.

Use this time then to grasp in your heart of hearts what it is that you want, need and desire in order to complete some lesson from the past that needs closure. Then set your intention moving forward towards your goals in order to focus your cosmic creative energy towards fulfillment.

A Very Brief Reflection…..

The Full Moon at 6 degrees Aries in opposition to the Sun at 6 degrees Libra on September 29, 2023 was a culminating moment. Just out of the Autumn Equinox and preceding towards Eclipse season. It’s a time of preparation as we continue on.

The Moon in Aries in opposition to the Sun in Libra is about the dynamic of self and other. Relationship is the key factor.

Aries, a Cardinal sign is active and fiery spirited contained within a profound vitality.

To be involved in a relationship or not to be involved in a relationship. This is one of the many questions coming up as we continue to engage during the Libra season. Particularly coming out of this Full Moon in Aries.

It’s a topic of particular interest which I look forward to exploring moving forward with this writing and my work. Beginning from an astrological viewpoint i am filled with wonder and awe about the dynamic of the Cardinal Cross and the squares it forms.

It is fascinating that the Full Moon just passed yesterday, which we are still in the energy orbit of as I am writing this, heralds in a deeper activation of the Aries/Libra Nodal Axis. Particularly as Pluto in Capricorn squares the Aries/Libra Nodal Axis.

There is so much more to say about all of this and I shall in my next post on the New Moon/Solar Eclipse coming up on tbe 14th of October. I promise that to be a full post with its effects on the twelve signs of the Zodiac. So stay tuned.

In light of my own journey which continues to bring me the gifts of insight and understanding, but first by placing boulders of challenges before me that must be addressed. (Such boulders had consistently and profoundly interrupted my writing on this Full Moon in Aries).

I am happily jumping into the New Moon in Libra post coming up…which has a Solar Eclipse and Nodal axis conjunction entwined with it and more.

My deadline for this blog site, Lotus In Full Bloom, is set by the Lunation cycles and the intention of getting the pieces done prior to the event itself. Attuning myself to this rhythm along with inclusion of everything else about being alive, well and balanced is the key. I am slowly but surely finding that key and unlocking that door. It’s quite a good thing.

Therefore in the interest of creating a sensible realistic lifestyle that supports my work and continued studies I had to stop the Full Moon piece there, where I did.

I did this in order to continue on with clarified intentions to focus on this work as a way to support stability, prosperity, health and balance for myself and others. My goal is to contribute good work, to guide help and support people including myself to have a beautiful well lived life.

I look forward to the exploration and writing of my next lunation post of the New Moon in Libra. I shall be elaborating much more on what I have mentioned above about the Cardinal Cross along with the particular transits worth taking note of. It’s an enchanting richly captivating adventure. It shall and forever more include the resuming of the segment ~ going through the current time period through the twelve signs, as I always do. Making It Real

As the cosmic and the mundane do the dance of life.

The Sun conjunct the Moon at 21 degrees Virgo on September 14 2023, at 9:39 PM EDT. This has marked the starting point of a new cycle…as yet still in process

Virgo’s virtuous simplicity and elegance imbues this new Moon with logical practical intentions. To serve, to follow through and to get things done.

Robert Hand speaks of “Virgo as the completed ego coming to terms simultaneously with the physical and the social universes as obstacles to which one must adapt, as frameworks for learning to be effective, and as realities that must be served.”

Virgo evolves through performing acts of service. To submit itself to the task at hand, whatever that may be, dedicated to doing it efficiently, effectively and well.

Virgo and it’s opposing sign Pisces are the zodiacal energies that are concerned with topics relating to work, health and service. Neptune, ruler of Pisces is in direct opposition to the Sun/Moon conjunction in Virgo.

Neptune, “symbolizes the truth and divinity perceived by mystics”, says Robert Hand.

Virgo, ruled by Mercury which stations Direct on September 15, 2023 has to do with the mind as it pertains to logic. Mercury as ruler of Virgo concerns itself with the ordinary everyday routines and its interrelationship with all things. The logistical orchestration of how things come together.

Whereas Neptune as the higher octave of Venus resides in the realm of the extraordinary. Neptune dissolves the boundaries and terrain of what we thought to be solid. Through Neptune we learn to surrender into the pure consciousness of being. By letting go and dropping down into oceans of Neptunian energy we are able to see the beauty and the Divine in all things.

This New Moon in Virgo is a time where we are able to surrender to divine consciousness while remaining connected to the visceral material world of everyday living. Thanks to the energy of this New Moon in Virgo in opposition to Neptune in Pisces.

The fascinating component of this lunation cycle marks a starting point that is drenched in trines providing us with a sweet easy flow in which to navigate these frequencies from. It’s a mellow manageability that gets played out in a more balanced harmonious way within the dynamic interchange of work and play. It’s an interesting new beginning moment graciously influenced by the power of these outer planet energies.

The Grand Earth Trine being constellated on September 14, 2023 will have a lasting effect. It is one that facilitates opening the door to our hearts, minds and souls which allows us to be open to new ideas that can lead to long sought after solutions.

“Pluto is the archetype of death and resurrection.” says Robert Hand. Resurrection is the operative word here. We are being asked, as it were, to trust the process of change and transformation that is a part of life. To be aware of how the ending of something is usually the beginning. Like the mystical Phoenix flying up out of its own ashes.

The ending serves as the proverbial page being turned. That brings us to the next part of our story. The part of the story where we can move towards the healing that fertilizes the ground for our renewal and resurrection.

Robert Hand goes on to say,”Pluto breaks down the old and outworn entities into their component parts, and then reassembles them into new being.” As indeed we shall be doing as we continue to move thru this moment in time.

This Grand Earth Trine is like a key being given to us that allows an opening of the door to the next steps in our lives. If we so choose.

Yet it is the perfect potent power of Pluto in Capricorn that does its part to complete this New Moon Grand Earth Trine.

At this auspicious new beginning moment these energies blend together to support our affirmations, goals and the creation of a healthy sustainable time for continuing on with our lives.

The New Moon in Virgo thru the signs ~

Aries ~ Relationships could be rather interesting as your ruling planet Mars forms a sextile to Venus in Leo. That makes this a good time to get out and mingle. However, do mingle gently since it is also a good time to go inward as you might find yourself becoming aware of vulnerabilities that continue to make themselves visible. It’s just the influence of Chiron conjunct the North Node in your sign. Since 2019 and until 2027 Chiron will be making its transit thru Aries. Then the North Node entered Aries on July 17, 2023 and will be there until January 2025. The most beneficial way to ride the wave of this New Moon moment is to reflect on what is most important to get done. To use the flow of energies to prioritize what is needed to fulfill your ultimate goals. Your deepest needs are what will indicate what those goals must be. Those needs reside somewhere within the still moments where you can breath in and out. Then your heart and soul will convey the info to your mind.

Libra ~ There is a lighthearted lilt in the air as Venus your ruling planet transits thru Leo. Making this a creative time that can be centered within a solid productive juncture. In the midst of all of this perhaps there are some deeper concerns that might be making themselves known in a pronounced way. However, let your busyness be focused on your goals and plans that are connected to what you truly need. Conundrums ~ Oxymorons ~ Breakthroughs

Within a culmination that leads to a new beginning

“And the band played on..” ~ The Temptations ~

On August 1, 2023, the Moon was at 9 degrees Aquarius. It was in opposition to the Sun at 9 degrees Leo . It had become exact at 2:32 PM EDT that afternoon.

Full Moon 8/1/2023

However, this Aquarius Full Moon occurred within an ongoing process, that is still occurring. It’s a configuration that the Ancient Egyptians have named the Lion’s Gate Portal.

The brightest star Sirius rises in the night sky. As Orion’s Belt which consists of 3 stars aligns with Earth’s horizon and the Great Pyramid of Giza.

This year this occurs from July 28, 2023 ~ August 12th, 2023.

Since the Lion’s Gate Portal happens during Leo season it is understood to be the Gateway of the Lion.

On a metaphorical metaphysical astrological level the Lion’s Gateway is a significant moment of manifestation. Electromagnetically the energy vibration of these stars as they align with Earth and the Great Pyramid of Giza is an auspicious event.

The Great Pyramid of Giza itself is a structure that holds profound mystical implications. Archaeologist, such as Peter Lemesurier in his book, The Great Pyramid Decoded published in 1977, is one such book. In it he depicts the architectural mathematics of the structure of the Great Pyramid from the outside in through every chamber. Interpreting each mathematical combination as a clue to its mystery. The mystery of how it got here and it’s possible meaning. All subjective of course. The interpretation is always thru the eyes of the interpreter. Coming from within the lens of their own feeling and intellectual subjective perceptions as they are reflected thru the experiences of the moment in time that the work was done. However, there is a resonance to some of the meanings of the mathematical engineering synthesized into metaphors that connect.

No matter the Great Pyramid of Giza is a relic of rock and stone perfectly designed and erected. So one would want to give credence to this moment in Leo Season when Sirius and the Orion Belt aligns with the Great Pyramid directly.

Here in August of 2023, as Kuiper Belt objects are becoming more visible and available to be studied, our understanding and interpretations of such things keeps changing, transforming and evolving. That is the fascinating power of this moment we are alive in.

Evolutionary outer planets such as Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are supporting a shift in our consciousness and understanding. The way this is experienced and the evolution for each of us is reflected in how the placements of these planets interacts within the components of each of our own birth charts.

As I have been writing this and up until August 12th, the Lion’s Gate Portal is open and available for all of us to draw from. To connect with the energy of bright conscious life force. This energy is to be channeled into our lives to support our well being, the well being of others and our Great Mother Earth herself.

For anyone reading this and is so inclined, it is suggested to say it aloud 15x a day as we move through the Lion’s Gate Portal. Even if we do it once I believe it will help. The affirmation is a mindful life affirming thought form that supports a healthy breakthrough and opening within our own lives and the lives of others.

In its generous way the alignment of Sirius and the the Orion Belt with Earth’s horizon and the Great Pyramid has the electromagnetic energy to activate and bring into being creative wishes, dreams and desires accelerated thru the warm brightness of Leo.

Indeed magical manifestations are afoot. Particularly as we allow ourselves to breathe within the rhythm and power of the present moment.

I believe the Lion’s Gateway is affirming a connection to the Divine itself. This Divinity that is contained within us all by the virtue of our very being. The knowledge and experience of our own light and truth is centered within our own heart and soul. It’s the way we perceive our own inherent logical creative mind via impulses transmitted from the depths of our being. This is what has been activated.

At any rate, it’s the interweaving of ideals with innovative conceptions combined with the knowledge, skills and understanding of the material world. This Lion’s Gateway is a passage through time that supports our ability to manifest as above so below.

Therefore, be mindful of what you ask for. Allow yourself to take some time to reflect on what you desire and write it down. Then breathe your hearts desire into it. If you are so inclined take dated notes of your experience. Allow it to unfold.

The Full Moon on August 1st was the yearly ending that marks the creation of a new beginning. The Lion’s Gate Portal is in affect now until the 12th of August. The New Moon is on the 16th. We get to create and manifest during the exhale that is the waning moon. It’s the energy cycle that we are in now.

Consequently being aware that when we had the Full Moon in Aquarius on the 1st, it had been a culminating moment. A time of completion that was also a doorway opening towards the creative manifestation of a new beginning. Unusual for a Full Moon, however with the Moon in Aquarius the unexpected is the usual.

Keep in mind that during the Full Moon in Aquarius in its opposition to the Leo Sun has it is a conduit that ignites a metaphysically metaphorical electrical current. Serving to direct connection to higher consciousness as we allow ourselves to become open and aware of it.

Keep in mind that the traditional co ruler of Aquarius is Saturn. Saturn anchors Aquarian’s connection with the solid material world thru earthbound pursuits. Giving Aquarius the means to be free. Free to fly towards systems based in allowing for higher ideals in freedom to think, feel and be as it must. To flourish and thrive. “To become able to breathe the air we cannot yet breathe”, writes Marge Piercy. That is the influence of Uranus, Aquarius’s modern Ruler.

On the other hand, Saturn, traditional ruler of Aquarius offers the gift of knowledge of the extraordinary contained within the ordinary. Quite often this occurs through presenting challenges, conundrums and inconvenient delays. However, it is said that even a delay may prove beneficial. In its positive response challenges serve as motivation to rethink and renegotiate our way through to the other side of whatever the thing is.

There is a basic truth. It states that one can never be truly free until one is anchored to something solid. The integrity of something to be held into as simple and solid like the Earth sets us free. It seats us as the rider and navigator on the powerful wild horse.

The Sun in Leo forms a square to Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus. I believe this brings on situations that in the long run allows for evolutionary shifts to occur. It’s a subtle significant shift in our perception of reality. This is also influenced by the Aries/Libra Nodal Axis still in its beginning moments. In a nuanced way something is shifting Globally, for many of us. This is getting played out in relationship to ourself and in relationship to each other particularly as we go about the daily rhythms of the mundane reality of our everyday life.

Jupiter the planet of law, justice and the magnification of growth is in wide conjunction with Uranus in Taurus. This combination conjure up a mixture of comprehensive awareness that could be perceived as incomprehensible. The Sun in Leo and Venus Rx in Leo are square to the Jupiter/ Uranus wide conjunction presents fascinating ideas through orchestrated situations as amazing as the design of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The combined relationships of all these planets and signs opens the doorway to solving problems and finding solutions we might never have thought of.

Could be the time for a whole lot of earthy Justice, peace and understanding to go down. Or not.

So as we continue on thru this Moon and it’s powerful waning cycle, especially as things may feel a bit frustrating at times, focus on your breath. So that with mindfulness and loving kindness. Becoming The Rider On The Horse

The New Moon in Cancer at 24 degrees

On July 17th 2023 At 2:31PM EDT

The Sun conjunct the Moon in Cancer colors this warm Summer moment with a reverence for home, stability, safety and unconditional love. A beautiful sentiment through which to set your new intentions moving forward.

While at the same time our experience, knowledge and awareness of all that we hold sacred, near and dear such as the concept and familiarity of home itself is in a tumultuous place of disruption.

Pluto, planet of unconditional demolition in the interest of transformation is in direct opposition to the New Cancer Sun/Moon conjunction. Pluto has gone Rx back to Capricorn at 29 degrees. This allows us to reverse backward so we may pick up and complete unresolved issues. In all likelihood issues pertaining to structure, systems and authority as we encounter these things in our lives.

Pluto continues in its square relationship to the North Node as the North Node itself is shifting to 29 degrees Aries. Pluto then likewise squares the South Node at 29 degrees Libra. Making this a powerfully intense moment of spirited new beginnings moving forward.

These are 4 Cardinal points of life affirming activity, as you see in the above diagram. There is a motivation to break free of the past as the past makes itself known to us and is getting played out via the Pluto Rx. Triggering the tension and stresses brought about by the friction of the t-square angle. This is prominently energized by the Cardinal qualities of the signs involved. Inducing an energizing force that holds the possibility of truly making conscious what actions are required in most situation in order to move forward.

Within this very moment we have the Nodal Axis shifting from Taurus/Scorpio into Aries/Libra. This shift breathes life into a new understanding about our very existence. This movement of energy can inspire folks to know what it means to have self dominion that energizes power from within. Aries North Node inspires the strength and grace of enlivened individuation as we apply the knowledge we have learned via the South Node in Libra.

I must say that although the Ram is the symbol of Aries, to my mind, as the North Node shifts to Aries, I envision the metaphorical image of the horse.

The horse as a noble quite grand elegant and strong animal. Originally born wild but made quite tame, gentle and able to live in loyal reverence to a good humane, understanding master.

The Aries North Node holds the keys as to how we embody our own wildness. To become aware of our instinctual drives and needs. There is great knowledge and wisdom held within the North Node in Aries. Aries North Node is teaching us to experience the vibrant embodiment of being alive.

To form a balanced relationship with nature as we become the rider on the horse. It’s a metaphor about assertion as we direct our lives via the instinctual life force contained within our bodies as symbolized by the noble horse.

The North Node in Aries is the placement that imbues our consciousness with the profound necessity of owning our deep instinctual impulses. To embrace the full repertoire of our intuitive inherent wild impulses as we learn to channel and direct them into humane, sustainable productivity. This is how we become the rider on the horse.

There is something to be said about the evolutionary need for self reclamation. That is the influence that could be the result of this moment as Pluto squares the Nodes. Fixed Earth and Fixed Water turning towards Cardinal Fire and Cardinal Air. Something is in the midst of happening. Let us take our power and lives into our own hands and become the deciders.

Taurus/Scorpio Nodal Axis has imbued our consciousness with issues concerning the solidity and stability of being on our planet Earth. Specifically as we are in the midst of extreme weather events meteorologically on a global level.

Seemingly held within the chaotic mystery of the shifting Nodal Axis, from Taurus/Scorpio ingress to Aries/Libra. It is time to bring awareness of our connection to dear Mother Earth and how it relates to the meaning of the connection that is at the heart of life itself. The heart of home.

In that regard I wonder how can we progress and evolve forward towards a consciousness that is sustainable for all? The poetry of astrology and philosophy begs the question as we are now embarking on the Nodal Axis transiting through Aries/Libra.

One of the more endearing qualities of Aries is its exuberant love of a good challenge. So this New Moon in Cancer holds the possibilities of a myriad of plentiful challenges. We are all quite fortunate that way.

This New Moon in Cancer blends, balances and integrates through the harmony of the sextile it forms to Uranus in Taurus which then forms a sextile to Neptune in Pisces. I love this formation at this time. It is the Universe’s way of easing the tensions and stress of this moment. Allowing for a break or a breakthrough for that matter.

These points of contact have the potential to form a symphony of compassion by comforting and easing our way towards a depth of understanding. This gets accentuated by the harmonious trine that the Sun/Moon in Cancer makes with these points. Making way for the new as we process and deal with the past. Finishing with unfinished business so we are moving forward with the new.

We have Earth and Water elements coming together to soften the ground. Inspiring and suffusing this moment with a simple clarity even as we are influenced by the fascinating innovative complexity of Uranus in Taurus. Interwoven is the compassion, mercy and understanding that Neptune in Pisces brings to the table. It’s just the perfect thing that is needed to support the transformation triggered by the Pluto in Capricorn square to the Nodal Axis. We are in good company moving forward.

Awaiting us is a deeper understanding of self in relationship to the other. This is as it relates to healthy individuation which then ties in to many of the Aquarian themes about to unfold as we continue on.

The perfect blend of Cardinal energies stimulating the need to jump right into cycles of becoming. Lending themselves to opportunities that open doors to new choices and new beginnings.

This moment is fueled by an awesome drive towards becoming. We have the opportunity to choose to allow ourselves to become infused with the dance of life. The miraculous awareness of the magnificence of being alive. Even within the high tech world of virtual simulation of reality, when it comes down to it, in person, face to face is always best.

In The Interest Of Process, Let Us Proceed

On delay……

There was a Full Moon in Capricorn at 11 degrees. It occurred on July 3rd, 2023 at 7:38 AM EDT.

Capricorn is a Cardinal Earth sign which during the time of the Full Moon has the capacity to illuminate who we are. Capricorn as a “Father” archetype influences who we are in relationship to our family, our community and the greater public.

Capricorn with Saturn as its ruler requires integrity, healthy clear boundaries, along with the need for discipline. Discipline as in the concept of the disciple who is a student of life and being in the world.

There are always lessons, learning and upgrading one’s standing in the world when dealing with the challenges we encounter. The term, “being bone chilling honest” comes to mind to give us the clarity needed. When we are present centered with our full capacities aware of all the nooks, crannies and pitfalls we must avoid in order to make it through each challenge, do we find success.

Success is a favorite word of Capricorn. So it is the flavor of this moment as we continue on.

The energy of this passing Full Moon in Capricorn brings attention to where our strengths and weaknesses are.

It begins with the Moon in Capricorn forming a trine to Jupiter. The Planet of faith, justice and expansive enthusiasm. This gives us the energy, encouragement and spirit to keep going forward.

The Sun/Mercury conjunction in Cancer trines Saturn in Pisces which forms a sextile to Jupiter in Taurus. This is further activated as Jupiter in Taurus forms a sextile to the Sun/Mercury conjunction. As we feel into what our hearts desires are, we are then able to input our mind with that info using Mercury in Cancer as a navigator.

These planetary influences work so well at this time which suggests that this is an auspicious time to be moving forward with any project or situation that might have felt insurmountable. The door is opening to allow for completion that leads to a new beginning. All this as so many shifts are in the process of occurring.

Through all of this we are reminded to carry on with humility as Neptune in Pisces sextile to Pluto in Capricorn forms a trine relationship to Uranus in Taurus. So familiar long standing structures along with our value systems and all that we have known is in a process of transformation. The planetary configurations mentioned above align quite well in order to make whatever the project is to become clear. That which the Capricorn Full Moon supports as it has passed through the opposition it forms to the Sun/Mercury conjunction in Cancer.

All the powerful planets of change, transformation and higher consciousness are interacting to work cooperatively. This serves to color this as a revisionist moment which we have been living thru. There is now a reassuring sense that positive change is within our reach. Common knowledge of this is permeating our communities as evolved folks become aware that we are all in this together.

Never you mind that Uranus in Taurus forms a challenging square to Mars conjunct Venus in Leo. It is fascinating that this challenging energy brings into view how at odds we are with love, with money, with assertion and the use of our free will. Could it be that the experience of our relationship to everything is opening to a new perspective? Could it be that the mentioned planetary influences are serving to unwittingly establish a new set of value systems that brings with it a new found consciousness that values, respects and honors all of life.

I believe this concept promises to become front and center a little later this month as Venus goes Rx in Leo from July 22 – September 3rd. That is after the Nodal axis shifts to Aries/ Libra on July 17th 2023 and will transit thru those two signs until January 11, 2026.

Capricorn’s dynamic is of somber tones. Seriously devoted to the integrity of its own being. This must also factor in the necessary dedication to truth. This includes an understood and embodied integrity. In its most positive expression Capricorn seeks a world that is held together by a sustainable thread of well run honorable and ethical systems of checks and balances.

Saturn, the ruling planet of Capricorn and this passing Full Moon is transiting through the sign of Pisces. This highlights a conscious dedication to commitment and what the meaning of responsibilities towards service actually means. It also brings the sentiments of mercy, forgiveness and compassion.

This just passing Capricorn Full Moon has formed a harmonious sextile to Jupiter in Taurus. Making this moment profoundly positive in its connection to what is real.

The power of this culminating moment has been to connect with your inner grace and strength as your experience of your own life unfolds. Capricorn ruled by Saturn pushes us towards our goals motivated by our needs. This is so that through perseverance, diligence and dedication we follow through and get to the light of whatever dark tunnel we are processing through. Capricorn Moon inspires commitment and consistency towards establishing itself as a beacon of light. There is a metaphysical phenomena that states how we cannot get to the light unless we are in the dark.

All this as the Sun in Cancer nourishes desires supportive of resting within the profound comfort of home. The value of nurture through the mothering principle of unconditional love. However, when the Moon, ruling planet of Cancer is contained within the goal oriented Sun things can get a bit judgmental, ornery and stressed out.

Then remember it is Summer and it is time to take a break. To take care, to comfort and enjoy the ease of warmer weather. That is why Summer is a time of rest, retreats, vacations and a bit of relaxation where one can find it.

Be reassured and take heart, because the harmonious configurations needed to move forward through this Full Moon are here. They are getting played out as we move through the pointed planetary and Nodal shifts on the horizon.

This moment has contained within it a sense of having faith in one’s journey as heaven symbolized by Jupiter and earth symbolized by Saturn are working together. This insures that as above, so below.

Whatever work we do, however clear our consciousness is, no matter what point in our lives we are moving through be reassured. It’s ok. The focus is on communication. Hearing and sharing what supports the relationship to our inner subjective being as we navigate the world around us. This is the influence of the Moon and Sun in Gemini joining together to begin a new cycle.

Our inner being symbolized by the Moon serves to inform the Sun, the external expression of our being. To take actions and plan strategies in order to follow thru with our intentions.

That is why the New Moon is an auspicious time to set a new intention, and/or if need be to give more energy and vibrancy to an ongoing intention, project or goal.

This New Moon in Gemini at 26 degrees anticipates the Summer Solstice and the Sun’s ingress to Cancer on the 21st of June. The longest day when the Sun travels the longest path through the sky, giving us more daylight. In astrology, in the Northern Hemisphere, the Sun’s ingress to Cancer begins the Summer Season. While, Winter is beginning in the Southern Hemisphere.

However, getting back to the New Moon on the 18th, EDT, let’s begin with the square Neptune in Pisces forms to the Sun/Moon conjunction in Gemini.

Watery Neptune in Pisces can evoke a bit of anxiety in relationship to the Airy light hearted Gemini. Nonetheless, this friction actually has the potential to create a magical mix. They both share the mutable quality that allows for desired adjustments to change.

For instance, Gemini transiting thru the Sun and Moon stimulates an effusive flow of information at a busy rapid pace. In square aspect to Neptune in Pisces this has the capacity to create a bit of foggy cosmic flow which slows the experience somewhat.

When there is a Full Moon it means that there is a culmination. It’s a peak moment of awareness. The dynamic energy of the Moon gets illuminated by the brightness of the Sun’s light that directly shines on it in its opposition to the Moon.

The Moon in Sagittarius seeks great adventures and knowledge on a vast expansive level. This influence invites us to saturate ourselves in the experience of living so we may grasp the meaning of why we are here.

While the Sun in Gemini brings us a bright energetic flurry of activity, movement and much mental buzz. The Moon in Sagittarius provides focus and direction. With its arrow aiming towards its goal Sagittarius seeks the meaning in everything.

The Gemini Sun in opposition to the Moon in Sagittarius requires some direction. To focus and find the meaning of the information that Gemini has gathered. Sagittarius, the all expansive seeker of freedom and justice quests to find the knowledge of what the meaning of it all is. Most significantly why are we here?

This objective can be easily accomplished thru the trine that the Sagittarius Moon forms with Mars in Leo. The shadow side of Saturn in Pisces is that it could elicit rationals for setting irrational goals and purchasing luxuries based on false needs. With Pisces, if the energy is not used in service of some kind it could trigger delusional or addictive behaviors. It’s the planet Neptune kicking in that swallows and dissolves our connection to reality. As we are humbled by Saturn’s challenges presented to us, we are able to surrender to serving them with understanding and dignity. That could stop the Neptunian fog from overtaking.

When we make choices to care for ourselves and others respectfully, as we are able to do so in simple practices such as yoga and meditation, we come into balance.

Bringing it out into the light of conscious awareness. To be processed and integrated in a grounded, earth bound realistic way that supports sustained life.

We get glimmers of it even as Pluto Rx goes back into Capricorn on June 11, 2023. This is where it will remain until it goes Direct and traces its steps back to Aquarius in January of 2024.

Therefore as the noire situations get played out via antiquated authoritarian structures and senseless bad governmental decisions, be aware that the “theatre is in the midst of falling apart.”

Still we are in the early development phase of the emergence of the awareness of the fragility of life and how interconnected we are. This movement forward in consciousness is a frightening thing for the purveyors of power who perpetuate structures and systems built on false needs.

Pluto, the planet of death and resurrection. “Pluto symbolizes the radical transformation of consciousness and being,” says Robert Hand in Horoscope Symbols. The power of Pluto is so intense in it’s sheer excessive.magnitude as it breaks down the obsolete systems, structures and living beings and then to reassemble them which resurrects them into a new relevant life.

The idea of Pluto being a planet of power via manipulation and coercion of others. Conversely of others experiencing being coerced or manipulated by others is triggered by the fear of death. After all it is a great mystery and no one knows.

When Pluto gets played out in this way as we are witnessing all around us, the motivating impulse is the fear of death. Whereas, the higher and true purpose of Pluto is to support life through the “radical transformation of consciousness”.

I hope this brings some sort of understanding to this moment in time we are living through. To understand the influence of the planets, in this case Pluto, we can work with it’s impact on a more conscious level.

Even so this Full Moon in Sagittarius along with Pluto being activated via the trine pertains to transformation of our value systems regarding money, finance and resources. The primary concern must be to focus on a deep rooted transformation in relationship to our ethics, integrity and morality.

This is especially profound with Pluto in Aquarius in opposition to Mars in Leo as it widely is conjunct Venus at 28 degrees Cancer. The t-square is complete with Mars in square aspect to the North Node conjunct Jupiter in Taurus which then squares Pluto in Aquarius.

This configuration brings the essence of this moment towards a life affirming meaningful critical mass. At this time, there are enough of us who get it and know collectively about the need to focus on living in balance with the mystery of Divine consciousness in relationship to the material world. To respect with gratitude this wobbly beautiful planet Earth we call home.

Respecting, honoring and preserving its resources. To bring new meaning to the material world that supports justice, peace and harmony in relationship to money, finances and the natural resources that are at the heart of the source of life for all.

The very definition of power must then be redefined as self awareness and self empowerment. The New Moon is in the sign of the Bull, Taurus.

The Sun conjunct the Moon at 28 degrees Taurus offers a time to reflect and take stock as Taurus tends to. When the Sun and Moon are conjunct it’s the beginning of a new cycle. It’s an auspicious time to affirm an ongoing intention or set a new one.

Taurus indicates slow, steady and gradual progress. It’s about connection to the Earth. This is experienced through our connection to the material world. We perceive our experience of being on earth through our bodies. Pleasure, comforts, money and finance is the way we experience being here on Earth. As we experience all of life’s pleasures and pains it allows us to develop a sense of what matters to us.

When we are embodied healthy human beings we realistically know how to value and respect our own self worth along with respecting the self worth of others.

It’s a cosmic conundrum whose mission it seems is to produce further friction as a stimulant. To serve as a process to inspire our growth and evolution as we enter into this new cycle. To somehow trust that this moment is the teacher who seeks to lead us towards our destiny, as only Saturn in Pisces can do.

Then we have Pluto forming a square to the Taurus/Scorpio Nodal axis, as we are still reverberating from the effects of the just passed Lunar Eclipse. So here is a continual theme that requires letting go of the past so we can move forward. To be free of a time gone by. So to open a new door to learn what we must learn as we are here now.

It would be useful to think about and reflect on our relationship to food, money and resources since Taurus is about being embodied in the material world. Whereas Scorpio is about the exploration that allows there to be a clearing up of murky secrets. This then opens a pathway to allow clarity to flow. We move forward learning how to take in as we remember the importance of letting go.

The tension of Pluto in Aquarius pushes us forward. Albeit perplexing and uncomfortable as it may be at times, this theme is harmonized so brilliantly in trine to the New Moon along with the Mars sextile to the the Sun/Moon/Uranus in trine to Neptune. This allows the energy to flow. All these energies are playing well together. It makes this New Moon the perfect time to work out and work through all the changes that have been coming up for quite some time now. Now we have a way through.

Taurus, ruled by Venus suffuses our feelings of desire. Desires that must pertain to our real needs. That is what is becoming clarified at this time. This is triggered by Uranus in Taurus illuminating our consciousness towards a renewed clarity about needs vs. wants. The Uranus in Taurus configuration supports a collective urgency to innovate our relationship to each other via finance, food supplies, environment, justice and equality in a world that is ever changing. I believe this describes the best outcome for Uranus in Taurus as Pluto transits in Aquarius.

The configurations at this time continue to support this. This is not just about the Nodal axis squaring Pluto. We must acknowledge the powerful event of Jupiter changing signs and its ingress to Taurus on 5/16/2023 as Mercury had stationed Direct in Taurus on the 14th. These are some significant shifts in energy that have the potential to bring about benign circumstances on a personal and interpersonal level. With the slow steady movement of Jupiter and Mercury in Taurus perhaps this supports the ability and willingness of all nations to come together for negotiations to establish peace via dialogue.

This moment continues to carry the theme of the Taurus dynamic pertaining to earthy issues concerning food, money, resources, boundaries and territories. As Mother Earth herself is crying out to all of us to be conscious care givers and caretakers on this our beautiful planet.

So as the world continues to turn, as these planets and energies keep coming into play, there is some sort of proclamation that is being created. It’s the promise that innovative growth, healing and evolution must occur. This is what I believe is being stirred up via Mercury, Jupiter and the North Node in Taurus forming a square to Mars in Cancer and Pluto in Aquarius.

Fiery energies influencing cooler energies heeding the call to nurture and humanize. An uphill battle at this New Moon Cycle in Taurus. However, Taurus requires it. Remember Taurus wants to live in peace, comfort and beauty.

There is a beautiful silver lining to behold within this earthy New Moon. This is catalyzed via Neptune in Pisces trine to Mars in Cancer as Mars sextile the Sun/Moon/Uranus in Taurus sextile right back to Neptune. So many harmonic configuration with so many powerful planets and signs.

There is also the harmonious configuration of Neptune in Pisces sextile to Pluto at 0 degrees Aquarius all connecting back to this New Moon Stellium of Sun/Moon/Uranus. My interpretation of these aspects are that its vibrational sweet frequency is inspiring the thought forms that peace and love is the way. How do we establish that?

Imagine the way these configurations shall inspire powerful symphonies and transcendently breathtaking creative expressions made manifest. All coming into being at this New Moon cycle. I believe this is one of the many potentials moving forward at this New Moon in Taurus. As the tune says, “If music be the food of love, play on, play on, play on, play on… “

The keynote from Dane Rudhyar is, “Man’s capacity to rise in consciousness and feelings above biological limitations.” We are no longer aging in the way prior generations have. We are taking responsibly for our health and our bodies.

“ A more mature response to the new possibility of experience.” Dane Rudhyar explains in his book “An Astrological Mandala”. this is at this New Moon in Taurus. I believe this channeled image of the degree of this New Moon at 28 degrees Taurus offers some good wisdom at this time.

Now we have a harmonious interweaving of planets that allows our energies to flow. This suggests an “aha” moment. A time of illumination that shines a light on our collective consciousness. The door opens for us to do it with love.

Aries ~ Not only is this a New Moon but it’s made newer with Mars your ruling planet making its ingress to Leo on the 20th. That’s the day after this New Moon. Then the fun and games resume. With Leo it will be in a creative fun-loving sort of way. A good time for competitive sports if that’s what you love. There is a freeing up of your energy as this New Moon unfolds. Enjoy!

Taurus ~ There is a nurturing balance that can be found as this New Moon evolves. It’s a good time to find a balance between being out in the world and going within. As the Sun transits out of your sign and the Moon makes it way thru to another sign, Uranus in Taurus remains. Shaking loose old beliefs or attitudes that no longer serve you. So drink in the balance of Venus in Cancer trine to Saturn in Pisces. It will really inspire you to start your new Solar year right.

Gemini ~ Your time to shine is upon you as the Sun will enter your sign on the 21st. You will enter a new Solar year. So in the remaining days, for now ground and center yourself as the Taurean energies invite you continually to do so by “losing your mind in order to come to your senses.” More about that coming up, so stay tuned.

Cancer ~ Let yourself be taken in by the gentle sensuous flow that harmonizes with you now. It can be quite productive and/or quite relaxing at this time.
