The Taurus/Scorpio opposition is a learning curve that leans towards finding the meeting ground between two seemingly opposing variables.
Even so this is a harmonious opposition where the two have the capacity to nourish each other’s intentions. This then has the capacity to bring forth a natural harmonious balance through the process of creative stimulation from both.
For Taurus it is the journey towards stability and safety. While the Scorpio component of the equation seeks the bare, naked truth. This includes opening forbidden doors leading to the seductive shadow side of life’s mysteries.
Marking this then as quite a fascinating full Moon. A culminating moment where the world of matter as evoked by the Full Moon in Taurus is being fed by Scorpio’s soulful seeking within the depths of mystery. Seeking to reveal hidden truths.
Scorpio season is a moment where we get to touch the realms of mystery, shadow and seduction. While the Taurus Moon values the comforts of simple pleasures.
The Taurus Moon relishes and delights in beauty and the lush comforts of life. While the Sun in Scorpio seeks to look beyond the parameters of the material world toward the hard edges of reality.
The Fixed Water element of Scorpio works well with the Fixed Earth element of Taurus. Water nourishes Earth and Earth gives Water a place to be held.
Scorpio seeks to uncover the underpinnings of hidden secrets in order to reveal the complexities of life. While Taurus has the capacity to take the information and utilize it in a practical way. To establish stability and security in order to make life better, easier and delightful.
For both signs the endpoint of the process is to restore inner trust through which self esteem emerges.
For many reasons it is during the Scorpio season that life reveals many twists and turns which contain opportunities to find wisdom, grace and strength. It’s Scorpio’s invitation to dive into life in order to know we can survive the storms of transformation.
Then we are ready to move into the Taurus phase of thriving enrichment.
The Sabian symbol for the Taurus Moon @ 3 degrees states, “Natural steps lead to a lawn of clover and bloom.”
In the interpretation, Dane Rudhyar speaks of how this relates to the gradual expansion of the individual consciousness after an enriching experience.
He goes on to say that this is a stage where diligence and determination summoned with humility and faith leads to reaching natural fulfillment. * Here in this context faith indicates trust in one’s self as earned through utilizing the grace and strength required to overcome despair through dealing with life’s challenges.
In contrast the Sabian symbol for the Scorpio Sun is, “ A house raising party in a small village enlists the neighbors cooperation.”
Rudhyar’s interpretation indicates a sense of togetherness and participation which develops through participation in a common enterprise through collective work.
So allowing the Scorpio quality of transformation to unfold. In so doing a new sense of reality emerges. Cooperation being the operative word.
Is Scorpio the most misunderstood sign with the worst reputation?
At least that’s how Robert Hand begins talking about Scorpio in his book, “Horoscope Symbols”.
I see it more as a question.
Hand speaks of the procession of Libra moving into the sign of Scorpio. Scorpio then goes on to become enjoined through intimacy. He says where Libra begins as two people being separate entities, for Scorpio there is a merging on an emotional level via sexual intimacy. Then through the experience of orgasm the process of an ego death unfolds. However, it seems to me that the journey of Scorpio goes deeper than that.
For Scorpio fascination with the seduction of mystery, including the unsolved mystery of death leads towards an understanding of the process of transformation. Scorpio understands that good and evil are all part of a continuum and a part of life. So Scorpio fears not the dark and hidden edges but rather seeks them out.
Scorpio has a propensity to seek experience steeped in intensity. This fascination makes attainable the experience of transformation, redemption and revitalization that Scorpio attunes to. For Scorpio life is understood to be a series of deaths, leading to rebirth, restoration and revival of one’s self.
However, the Full Moon in Taurus on the 26th of October evoked many fascinating complexities and interesting configurations.
At the time of this lunation the Taurus Moon was conjunct Chiron Rx at 28 degrees in Aries conjunct Eris Rx at 25 degrees so forming a stellium.
All while being diametrically opposed by the Sun in Scorpio conjunct Venus retrograde at 29 degrees Libra.
These energetic influences indicate that emotional and physical comforts could be destabilized by a distracting awareness of our own vulnerabilities. Ultimately opening our attention towards the need to question what really matters. Throwing us back onto ourselves and forcing us to acknowledge the truth of who we are and to reassess our priorities.
This Full Moon in Taurus invited us to drop down into the truth of what really matters. In the long term it’s a battle of the self with the Self towards healthy individuation.
It reminds me of the Marge Piercy poem where she states that,” we are living as if we were an experiment being conducted by the future”. To metaphorically grasp the air we can not yet breathe as we are finding our way out of the dark narrow tunnel of the birth canal.
Only to emerge questioning how to be who we really are even if it doesn’t align with others?
This is the Eris Rx in Aries influence.
Eris, a dwarfed planet, who is understood to be the Goddess of Discord. In so doing she stands for the intrinsic truth. This influence serves to expose what has been denied and disavowed.
The placement of her in conjunction with the Taurus Full Moon stellium at this time indicates a demand for authenticity. Albeit, the retrograde component indicates an internal reckoning with one’s self rather than just an outward rebellion.
It is timely and beneficial to work more inwardly at this moment. As we have been moving through a time with compounded complexities. So to hold major outward protests while many wholly unstable reckless sociopathic personalities are currently “in charge”, as it were, is dangerous, as we move through the U.S. elections.
Particularly as the Rx motion of Chiron and Eris along with five other retrograde planets indicate this is much more of a time of inner reckoning with one’s self and the personal relationships we already have.
All this to say it seems like a good moment in time for some self reflection and an introspective reckoning with one’s relationship to one’s self at this time. The profound quality of this lunation cycle indicates lessons on learning about earned trust and the need to learn about that process. I repeat, trust is not an energy vibration. Trust and respect must be earned.
Do take heart that even in this time of much retrograde motion and slowed down process, be rest assured that shifts are occurring. So to trust and understand that through inner reflection the necessary wisdom and knowledge on how to organize much needed strategies shall emerge.
Metaphorically and tragically we are in the midst of a war and peace dynamic. A dynamic being collectively evoked by the Taurus’s Moon’s desire for calm steady tangible peace. While at the same time the Sun in Scorpio is tugging hard in its demand for the probing required to excavate the psychological depths of knowledge and understanding in order to reveal truths. Truths that lead to collective self empowerment. Ultimately leading towards a comprehensive understanding of the process of transformation itself.
A process the Pluto in Aquarius square to this lunation cycle is what we are all in the midst of. More about that in a moment.
Pluto in Aquarius at 3 degrees squaring the Taurus Full Moon, conjunct Chiron Rx, conjunct Eris Rx both in Aries.
Add in to the equation the Rx Venus factor as it is conjunct the Scorpio Sun. So it goes that in this configuration the Venus Rx component exacerbates a tension catalyzed by Venus’s love of beauty, harmony and financial stability.
The challenge is to become aware of how not to sell one’s soul by giving one’s power away. The dilemma of agreeing with something or someone even when you do not in order to have things go along seemingly in peace is what’s up.
To have the grace, strength and wherewithal to stand in your own truth even if other’s are not sharing the same understanding. This is what is coming to light at this time. To be aware and to blatantly gestalt that this mechanism is no longer operative. We must stand in truth.
There is a significant shift in our evolution and culture that is occurring. There is an awareness through lived experiences that is leading to an emerging collective understanding. There is a collective realization that to hold onto false destructive agreements only brings on more stress, tension and resentment. Indicated by the lack of goods and services emerging.
The dilemma is to make sure that this is not what continues. Eris will not tolerate it! The Goddess of Discord comprehends that it is not balanced nor is it sustainable to negatively merge with another just to not feel so all alone.
This is a time of reckoning as we are bearing witness to how detrimental it is to acknowledge something as true when it is not. There is no integrity when one chooses to agree with blatant untruths in the interest of avoiding conflict.
Avoiding conflicts and struggle depletes the creative juices that powers new solutions and authentic relating. This is a moment where it is becoming clear that “people pleasing” often dissipates the life force where creative solutions can be found.
All this to say that as we move through this Venus Rx we must honor and respect how in retrograde motion the goddess is sinking deep beneath the dark sea.
To understand that her retrograde journey metaphorically gives meaning to this time. In order for us to understand how to utilize this time as an opportunity to face our fears. This is how we develop faith in ourselves and the process of life itself.
All the while somehow trusting that Venus, as we ourselves, shall emerge, once again beautiful, whole, strong and embodied.
As it is so well illustrated in the Rilke poem, “ Perhaps all the dragons of our lives are Princesses who are only waiting to see us once beautiful and brave. Perhaps everything terrible is in its deepest being, something helpless that wants help from us.”
It seems that we are moving through this sort of moment as Venus Rx is in descent. Only to emerge as Venus goes direct on 11/13/2026 @ 7:27 PM EST. She has the capacity to emerge being quite resolute to uphold truth and Justice. As we shall, as we must.
Yet as we continue to move through this moment in time it is useful to acknowledge how the energy of this Full Moon in Taurus is such a dynamic moment of culmination.
What with seven Planets retrograde; Venus, Mercury, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Chiron, and Eris. Just sayin’…..
To be mindful of how the propensity of so many retrograde energies are intensifying Rx Venus’s return to darkness and shadow.
It’s a good time to reflect on how this metaphor and the slowed energies of this moment are getting played out in our own lives.
What is in need of revisiting, exploring and processing through from your past? In the interest of releasing it, of course.
This is a good time to excavate what has been enshrouded in the shadows of disavowal?
Remember to be mindful that this exploration is in the process of self reclamation and healing. It’s all in the interest of integrating the fragmented lost components of one’s self with who you are now. Therefore compassion, understanding and forgiveness are required.
All exploration to be done with love, compassion and understanding for yourself and others. However in the interest of living in your truth do not forgive others until you are ready to do so. Not before! Then it will not be real.
Especially significant at this chaotic and imbalanced time are blatant concerns making it quite clear to many that our culture along with our collective global civilization requires validating and upholding of the feminine principle.
Through being witness to cruel acts of brute force and a disavowal of laws it is becoming clear that one of the solutions is to call on the feminine principle of Venus.
In her symbol as Goddess of Justice, her symbolic and visceral metaphor of embodiment is to pull us back from the distortion of hypermasculinity.
As we are all witness to the misuse of power and control of others with awareness at this time that nationally and globally, this regression to pathological sociopathic authoritarian behaviors is not sustainable. Therefore we the people must uphold the balance required. This is what is contained within the feminine principle.
The unconditional love of the feminine principle honors, loves and respects life. Utilizing common sense, evidenced based reality and science to bring us back to balance towards stability and sustainable lives of dignity for all.
Upholding with reverence the feminine principle must include a healthy balanced version of the masculine principle. This transition and transformation is not at the expense of one or the other. For our cultures and societies to be sustainable the two principles must be balanced and work together.
We are so blatantly witnessing the need for the reclamation of the empowered feminine principle in balance with a balanced healthy masculine principle. For a culture comprised of all of us that has the ability to understand and make room with compassion for the journey into darkness when necessary. This is part of the feminine principle.
To understand that this is the moment we are living through now. To be here now with conscious awareness so utilizing our understanding of how the influences of the planets and points moving through the Zodiac give meaning to our experience.
The motivation and intention being to understand with compassion our emergence from the darkness into the light. While valuing and trusting the feminine principles that motivate us towards “random acts of kindness and untold beauty.”While metaphorically being armed with the knowledge and wisdom that encourages our journey towards wholeness, beauty and balance.

We have the opportunity to be witness to and even experience it ourselves, if we so choose. To gestalt the awareness of this moment in time, with all of its chaos and discomfort as a growing pain of sorts.
This is being illuminated at this time through awareness of the impulse towards “people pleasing”. To comprehend how “people pleasing” serves to weaken one’s position as it compromises healthy selfhood. Clearly coming from a place of inauthenticity does not serve the interest of upholding truth and justice. As truth and justice are inherent resources of the Venus playbook.
This Taurus Full Moon is colored by feelings of vulnerability and outrage through its conjunction to Chiron and Eris. Marking this as a time which requires inward reflection.
Nonetheless, the Sun conjunct Venus in opposition to the Moon in Taurus conjunct Chiron and Eris requires breaking through societies polite decorum. All in the interest of adamantly demanding raw unvarnished truths.
It might not be apparent at first but we are moving through a slow progression of transformations. All being brought about through a comprehension of how clinging to old beliefs are at play. Most significantly how many old beliefs and antiquated paradigms are no longer operative. They no longer fit, they no longer work.
It is the comprehension and awareness of these things that shall continue to serve to bring about the shifts and changes that are needed. What is no longer serving must be called out for what it is, acknowledged and then let go of. To be released!
To be let go of. To then be replaced with healthier and better means and ways of how we can take care of ourselves and each other.

All this as the Venus Rx factor itself in its opposition to Chiron conjunct Eris in Aries has the capacity to bring forward relationships that serve as a direct mirror. To become aware of old wounds that can be healed in tbe interest of allowing awareness of who we really are to emerge.
This Full Moon in Taurus is a call for all of us to become aware of how we have abandoned ourselves in order to make someone else comfortable.
*Even so, it is good to remember that there are times, as we understand our needs better, when we must set up boundaries that only we know we are doing. It can be understood as having a diplomatic intention. Then in those cases it is critical to remember, “To thine own self, be true!”
The Yod, “the Fated Finger of God” is playing a part during this lunation cycle.
We see at the Apex of the Yod, Venus Rx at 29 degrees Libra conjunct the Scorpio Sun at 2 degrees.
This forms a quincunx on both sides, one to Uranus Rx 4 degrees Gemini. While on the other side the Sun conjunct Venus is quincunx to Saturn Rx at 9 degrees Aries conjunct Neptune Rx at 2 degrees Aries.
All this while at the base of the Yod we see Uranus Rx in Gemini forming a sextile to Saturn Rx conjunct Neptune Rx in Aries.
The apex of the Yod receives the pressure of this configuration in order to find a way to make these energies work together. As we continue on.
The base creatively and harmoniously resonates with the need for innovation through communication. Allowing for brightly lit gestalt moments of clarity via the genius of Uranus in Gemini. Opening the doors towards shifting paradigms. Shifts that are becoming clarified on some level.
Albeit it’s a slowed but steady process indicated by the retrograde motion of seven planets at this time. This includes the four players in this Yod.
All this retrograde energy turning inward, allows us to review how we got here.
Calling all historians!
This includes reviewing the current concerns about the technology of AI. This is the time to bring our awareness to how we got here. Then to democratically discuss how we choose to move forward.
Retrograde Uranus in Gemini forming the sextile to Neptune retrograde conjunct Saturn retrograde in Aries harmonizes these energies. Allowing us to become mindful of the structures of evidenced based reality with systems that incorporate flexible boundaries.
Flexible boundaries being the Neptune Rx component serving to clear away illusions, delusions, dreams and nightmares along with antiquated spiritual ideals. To be replaced with visions of an integrated humanity working as a global community towards sustainable life on Earth and dignified living for all.
This sextile becomes the basis of cooperative flowing visionary ideals steeped in the vibrant soulful essence of life itself. As catalyzed through the Aries influence.
Always, always, always with strict adherence to checks and balances upholding laws that support a cohesive, dignified life for all. In other words the best of the best that the base of this Yod has to offer. While the apex is serving as the release valve through which to secure the channeled destination of the Yod’s energy.
Particularly profound is Venus Rx in Libra at the anoretic 29 degree point. Marking this as a time to reassess our relationships as they reflect our values or not.
This opens the door to understand the meaning of mutual cooperation. Bearing in mind that we are in the midst of the process of the darkness metaphorically brought about through the descent of the goddess. So evoking our struggles with self worth as well as past karmic connections.
Then we have the spicy quincunx which infuses the necessary tension that produces the pressure required to induce a karmic adjustment.
Retrograde Venus in Libra conjunct the Sun in Scorpio shares no real natural affinity through the quincunx it forms to Uranus Rx in Gemini. Neither does it to the quincunx it forms to Saturn retrograde conjunct Neptune retrograde in Aries.
Therefore what is experienced is an awkward persistent annoyance that requires fine tuning and recalibration.
To understand these influences and their relevance to current affairs requires a bit of objective detachment along with a bit of clever mental acuity.

This of course included the other components of the Sun in Scorpio conjunct Venus Rx in Libra in opposition to the Taurus Moon conjunct retrograde Chiron conjunct retrograde Eris in Aries.
To be understood, on one level, as an urgent global energetic deadline. These potent astrological influences serves to apply the needed pressure to bear to quicken our conscious understanding. The gestalt contained within the tension of this t-square stimulated by Pluto in Aquarius at the apex is that the time for the much needed structural shift in our humanity is now.
This reality being brought to our attention through the day to day routines we have established as they relate to comfort, control and survival.
On many levels this t-square can be considered to be a critical gateway towards our evolution as we continue on.
This gateway constellated at the time of the Full Moon in Taurus conjunct Chiron and Eris in Aries. Having imbued this lunation cycle with an awareness of depths of wounding and vulnerability that had the propensity towards outrage.
The energy of the t-square to Pluto in Aquarius stimulated further stress and frustrations. These pressures and discomforts having gotten played out in such a way that what has been held back must be released into conscious awareness. It’s been a profound time to question our relationship to what we value, our financial systems and our physical comfort zones.
Stimulated by the pressure of the square to Pluto in Aquarius, this is a time where we are in the midst of breaking open new possibilities. When the pressures of Pluto are utilized to focus and transform.
Therefore to utilize this moment as a way to release old fears that hinder our awareness of what’s really happening.
Breaking open new ideas and possibilities to replace the concretized definitions of safety. Our awareness and understanding of what comprises dignified humane components of safety and stability are shifting.

To boldly and assertively ask ourselves what do we really need for inner peace. Which could ultimately serve as a sustainable goal for global peace as well. This is the higher octave of Pluto in Aquarius.
To understand this as part of a greater process triggered by the possibility of an emerging awareness as past relationship along with unresolved patterns seep in. All to bring to our conscious awareness irrelevant agreements that must be reprocessed and let go of.
Pluto in Aquarius at the apex of this t-square brings our focus and attention towards finding new ways to resolve power plays and manipulations. Through allowing all of us to become aware of how we engage in power plays ourselves. We can choose another way.
To integrate the opposing energies of our conscious quests with essential heartfelt needs. This t-square with Pluto at the apex of a Taurus/Scorpio dynamic is a resounding call towards integration of heart/mind and body. To consciously seek to do this in a new ways. Through an evolved use of psychology, theosophy, philosophy and political science.
This is all with the intention to move away from unconscious complacency towards a revitalized curiosity and fascination with healthier ways of being human. Our humanity at the apex of this moment of evolution we are moving through.
All this in order to be centered, grounded and contained in a newly earned trust that supports our self worth and self empowerment. Along with that of all others.

The base being Uranus retrograde in Gemini at 4 degrees trine to Pluto in Aquarius at 3 degrees. Forming a sextile to the apex. The apex being Neptune retrograde at 2 degrees Aries conjunct Saturn retrograde at 9 degrees.
To focus and channel the trine of Pluto in Aquarius with Uranus retrograde in Gemini towards the necessary grounding, centering and rebuilding of systems and structures. This funneled through the apex formed through Saturn Rx in Aries which makes room for visions of a new understanding of spirituality, compassion, forgiveness and understanding via its conjunction to Neptune Rx in Aries.
As we are witness to corroded notions of boundaries based on dehumanization tactics born of dire pathologically narcissistic minds. Tactics of the past based on irrelevant systems that do not incorporate the reality that we live in a global reality now. Extreme disparages of wealth are no longer sustainable phenomena in the world we are all in the process of birthing.
So much so tbat we are witness to such antiquated paradigms as billionaires, oligarchs and fascistic authoritarians are being ever so slowly dissolved. Thanks be to Neptune’s influence.
Our global community is becoming aware of the necessity to replace toxic criminal behaviors with new laws. New laws to be adhered to by government officials with integrity, skills and the conviction to govern and fight for we the people.
Hence, this “Magic Triangle”, this minor grand trine can serve to imbue our collective consciousness with a new understanding of spirituality motivated by a collective vision.
It’s influence giving way to an evolutionary flow of creative energies connecting innovative technologies to be implemented slowly as cognitive shifts in our psychological orientation and understanding evolves.
However for all of us to go slowly as indicated by the plethora of retrograde influences.
It is the time for us to reflect and turn inward.
To utilize this moment to review internally how we personally and collectively got to the point we are at now. To reflect on who we are and our vision, design and understanding of where to go from here.
So to recalibrate ourselves moving forward while learning from the past. Then to release the past and move forward, back into present time. From present time to envision the future.
To gestalt meaning through a time of collective shifts. To be done slowly but surely. We must utilize these energies by being consciously aware of them.

As we reckon with and reconcile the phantasy and/or reality of grand collective visions. As we become aware of what is really and truly needed for practical and courageous implementation.
