The configurations formed by the New Moon at 28 degrees Capricorn on the 18th of January evoked deeply penetrating patterns of medieval paradigms. Allowing us to become aware of ideas and beliefs that need to be transformed.
To be witness to blatant displays of needless cruelty and violence opens our eyes enough to ask significant questions. Is this the world we want to live in? Does violence, cruelty and murder allow for a healthier community, society and country?
The profoundly intense moment we are living through requires our ability to ask these questions for the purpose of our evolution.
Awareness of the current planetary influences supports the changes required for transformation towards adaptation and development.
We are living at such a time where recalibration is needed as we reflect on the ways in which we live. This is a time of shifting ideas. Shifts in consciousness coming about through many people opening their eyes and becoming aware of themselves in relationship to the world around them.
We have been experiencing challenges to established structures since 2022. So that now in 2026 we are better able to summon up appropriate innovate ways to join in and communicate with others about these things.
Current planetary influences have the capacity to inspire these shifts in consciousness.
As we become witness to old paradigms being displayed it becomes clear that the old macho “might makes right” is just NOT the way.
We are required to evolve out of that as the Nuclear Clock edges closer and closer to midnight.
As Pluto makes its way through Aquarius the need to develop spiritually beyond our technology is the transformational task at hand.
Our technology is far more advanced than our development as a psychologically fit and spiritually developed humanity is.
However, it is through understanding and the implementation of skillful means and compassion that we have the ability to humanize the components of narcissism that we all share on one end of the continuum or another. This is the era where we must become humans who are connected to our humanity.
To be aware of this dilemma as it gets played out in various ways contains the wisdom needed to bring us back from the precipice we find ourselves currently standing at the edge of.
The New Moon in Capricorn on 1/18/2026 was the beginning of another new cycle. It was constellated with 6 personal planets. Personal planets are the ones that orbit closest to the Earth.
This stellium of personal planets had been conjunct via somber steady Capricorn towards the innovative brilliance of Aquarius. Of note, Pluto in Aquarius contained within this stellium inspires the transformative energies that inspires the changes needed. Pluto in Aquarius tearing down while making room to revision something better. Pluto in Aquarius with its propensity towards liberation, innovation and evolution.
The Sun conjunct the Moon in Capricorn evokes the discipline and perseverance needed to hold our lives together as we move through the shifting sands of this moment in time. Capricorn offers the stability required to make way for the evolutionary shifts that we are in the midst of.
Beginning with Mars at 26 degrees Capricorn, actively, and willfully encouraging while pushing activities passionately motivated by the life force itself.
The story continues through Mars conjunct Mercury conjunct the Sun/Moon conjunction at 28 degrees Capricorn emphasizing the importance of communication. Interpersonal as well as public communication of information and ideas.
The power of communication is a very necessary resource since we are in the midst of birthing new understandings into consciousness. Gotta talk about it, discuss and dialogue with those we agree with as well as those we do not.
While the shadow of crazy is getting played out we are also in the midst of wondrous explorations of innovative concepts.
This is a mandatory fascination as we continue on within the struggle. The current conundrums we find ourselves in demands the presence of heart and soul as we learn how to reclaim our humanity.
What with the influence of Venus at 1 degree Aquarius conjunct Pluto at 3 degrees Aquarius. Motivating a desired choice to look through the lens of partnerships that seek balance, peace, harmony and safety through respecting laws designed for that very reason.
All this while in the midst of learning to dance with the devil himself in the form of Pluto in Aquarius.
With Venus up close and personal to Pluto we have the potential power to redirect misguided tendencies. Specifically via the stellium in Capricorn which can serve to bring reality along. Thus reminding us of the much needed and required checks and balances of the laws ultimately designed to keep us safe. With dignity and justice for all.
This is a moment where the Mercurial resource of communication and information must remain involved. Particularly as Venus elicits its love of laws that values the restoration of balance, harmony and stability. To be brought about through cohesive partnerships and relationships in response to diplomatic communication.

This has the capacity to stimulate an integration of grounded ambition towards amending existing structures in order to improve the quality of life for all. Even as we are in the midst of so much dissolution.
Even so, the Neptune/Saturn Pisces component evokes a dare to dream attitude. The sextile to Mars, Mercury, Sun and Pluto elicits the power and energy to do it.
The energy of this moment must be utilized to acknowledge our dreams, wishes, desires and goals. How we want our lives to look.

The astrological symphony continues as the Saturn/Neptune conjunction forms a sextile to Uranus in Taurus at 27 degrees. This stimulating connection serves to further ignite a creative spark of harmony that has the capacity to cause breakthrough shifts in consciousness.
Lawless people in positions of power who carry outmoded paradigms. Shamelessly baring their unmasked, naked and quite unsavory arrogant intentions made known for we the people to bear witness to and comprehend.
To work to be free from such nonsense.
With the comprehension that this is part of the process out of which new relevant systems and structures are birthed.
The profound completion of this Minor Grand Trine is constellated as Uranus in Taurus brings it all together. This it does through its ongoing trine to Pluto in Aquarius joined by the Sun/Moon conjunction within the Capricorn stellium. The Universe is working towards harmonious interconnection.
It’s as if we are receiving a memo from the Universe encouraging us to keep going. No matter how bizarre, dark or bleak things may appear.We must continue on with cognitive awareness, wisdom, grace and strength.
We must continue on in order to facilitate this breath of life. Through the depths of despair transformed into the outrage needed that sparks hope and faith into actions that thrusts movement forward once again towards a more perfect Union.
Through insisting on upholding laws that move towards justice and inclusion. We are being called to recalibrate our collective understanding in order to uphold our humanity.
The Tibetan Buddhists refer to a concept of the basic goodness contained in all beings. This phenomenon could be inspired by the influence of Jupiter retrograde in Cancer forming a trine to the Saturn/Neptune conjunction in Pisces. Another rare planetary occurrence at this time.
Within the benign harmonious flow of the watery element of these three planets interacting sweetly in the midst of upheaval there emerges the propensity to elicit compassion and understanding.

The Capricorn New Moon on the 18th had some down-to-Earth spicy challenges as well.
Talking about retrograde Jupiter in Cancer being in opposition to Mars conjunct Mercury within the Capricorn stellium.
This opposition inspires us to reassess our lives. To review, revision and reconsider how well integrated our work/career and public life is with our inner needs and our home life. Or how it is not.
The dilemma is how to find the balance between home, safety and comfort versus achieving, sharing and contributing out in the world.
To integrate the healing, comfort and safety of home with the vibrant experience of creating work that is effective and helpful while at the same time striving towards accomplishment.
This opposition brings to mind the need to integrate systems and structures based on life rhythms.
This is an energy that has the potential to evoke an inner struggle between caring for yourself over achieving in the world.
How do you integrate these two necessary components of living which are the ultimate keys to a well lived life?
This influence serves to force clarity through the experience of this dilemma. Bringing our awareness towards a new understanding that allows for some sort of resolution and integration of these two significantly opposing components.
It is helpful to keep in mind that this period actually began in November 2025 and will continue until March 2026. This is the retrograde Jupiter in Cancer influence. People with strong Cancer placements or Capricorn placements are experiencing this transit most profoundly.
Its influence compels reflection and review about family matters along with issues concerning housing and emotional safety.
The best way forward with this influence when feeling frustrated, annoyed or anxious is to pause and take a beat.
Feelings of frustration, anxiety and anger are NOT fun. However they are triggered by our very own inner guidance. Guidance in the form of the experience of our fears and insecurities. These uncomfortable sentiments actually contain insights, clues and guidance needed in order to proceed.
Through mindful meditation, breath work and self reflection sensible solutions emerge.

Even as we are in the midst of many other new influences being configured on the horizon.
The mantra of this moment is patience, perseverance and continual consistent practice.
To keep going.
This moment moving forward is an invitation to stop, look and listen. To feel into the experience of our inner being in relationship to our interactions with the world around us.
A well lived life begins with systems and structures that emerge from the integrity of our own experience of being alive. To have the wherewithal to know that our integrity, health, well being and dignity is supported by the parameters of our emotional, psychological and spiritual body.
Therefore let us keep on, keep on, keep on, keep on…..
