There was a New Moon on December 19, 2025 @ 8:43 PM EST at 28 degrees Sagittarius.
Sagittarius evokes a spirit of adventure through its bright jovial enthusiasm and optimism. As we keep on keepin’ on even through the darkest night we will begin to see, feel and experience the light at the end of the tunnel.
Through the journey of Sagittarius with Jupiter as its ruling planet an emphasis on ethics and law is part of the equation. Sagittarius seeks principles based on truth, justice and integrity aligned with those principles. To see to it that laws are implemented serving the interests of we the people.
The restoration of balance is a significant component of a well lived life. This is brought about through laws whose intention is to provide dignity and justice for all. This becomes ever more apparent as we continue to move through a time that is quite unbalanced. The consequence of laws not being adhered to.
The Sagittarius Sun/Moon conjunction in its fiery bright ebullient optimism marks a new beginning. Even as we are at its seasonal conclusion.
This New Moon in Sagittarius conjunct the Sun, conjunct Venus, conjunct Mars forms a square to the Saturn/Neptune conjunction in Pisces.
All of the natural buoyancy of the Mutable Fire element of Sagittarius is caught up in the foggy misty square it forms to Saturn conjunct Neptune in Pisces.
This emphasizes the necessity towards integration of the Mother/Moon/Feminine principle in its conjunction with the Sun/Father/Masculine principle of realized selfhood.
These two basic principles of selfhood are sandwiched between Venus the Feminine component seeking beauty, balance, harmony in adherence to the law while on the other side of the Sun is Mars at 3 degrees Capricorn.
Mars Exalted in Capricorn energizes the Saturn component of the Saturn/Neptune conjunction.
The Sagittarius stellium square to the Pisces Saturn/Neptune conjunction elicits frustration. This can be experienced as tension. It’s the uncomfortable feeling experience which induces the impulse to shake loose from Neptune’s creative dreaminess at its best and/or at its worst Neptune’s draining delusions.
As exalted, Mars in Capricorn heralds the Capricorn Season just ahead. There is a shift in energy and focus. A felt sense of activated willfulness that springs towards life.
As we are witness to such complexity of madness manifesting itself through irrational actions motivated by a heartless U.S. President and his administration devoid of soul.
This came to be, so it seems, through a malfunctioning system that enables such madness to “ fail upward”!?!?

Pluto in Aquarius trine to Uranus in Taurus sextile to the Saturn/Neptune conjunction bringing-it-on-home in its sextile to Pluto in Aquarius? I ponder the thought.
Below you see emphasized in blue not one but two minor grand sextile all containing planets whose influences indicate an awakening towards a time of transformation.
We have powerful Outer Planets that evoke evolutionary change forming harmonious aspects to each other. As if they are guardians of the human experience guiding us back towards our humanity, morality, ethics, compassion and understanding.
With Uranus in Taurus involved along with Pluto in Aquarius an awakening is underway. An awareness of how wrong things have become. This awareness along with actively communicating about it has the capacity to elicit the energy that will open the door towards necessary transformation.
Awakening towards transformation. These are the operative words here. As Pluto in Aquarius is trine to Uranus. Uranus being the modern ruling planet of Aquarius. While Saturn, the traditional ruler of Aquarius is certainly an important player in this story through its sextile to Pluto as well.
As the consequences of insane, irrational and unsustainable dehumanizing policies occur, the consequences results in outrage. As is appropriate in a relatively healthy society of alive and present law abiding citizens.
The astrology indicates the influences that supports this reaction. The harmonious interaction of the planets through the Zodiac has the capacity to be played out in this way.
This must be the experience of the hearts and minds of the citizens of the United States. People who are awakening from the nightmare we are witness to. Serving to motivate the commoners of public society to feel the pain and outrage through the present government’s unprecedented cruel and destructive actions.
Unlawful commands issued by madmen. This seems to be what was required to illustrate the seriousness of the moment we are in.
The unnecessary fatalities becomes the validation that motivates actions that communicates and demonstrates the dire need to impeach and remove.
Uranus in Taurus sextile to the Neptune/Saturn conjunction in Pisces trine to Jupiter in Cancer along with the Yod. These configurations potentially inspire the motivation to build a critical mass movement. A movement that has the willful capacity to restore adherence to laws that honors life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all.
In the immortal words of Langston Hugh’s, “Nothing lights a fire like a dream deferred.” So here we are.
What with fiery Mars energizing us into action. The transit of assertive Mars in Capricorn intertwines willful ambition into disciplined, strategic and long term achievement.
We can take heart in the words of Khalil Gibran, who says, “Life, and all that lives, is conceived in the mist, not the crystal. And who knows but a crystal is mist in decay?”
So here we are as witnesses to “crystals in decay”. Becoming ever more aware of how we have been moving through the foggy mists. As we slowly but persistently become conscious of reality. And make manifest the society and the world we want to create and live in for all.
Clarity which is a product of well managed outrage shows us that it is solely up to we the people. It is up to each and every one of us to be the ones to take hold of the reins.
To be the heart, soul and mind of the re conception of this country whose government must and will be governed by laws that supports life and all people. But only if we move and communicate to make it so,
Through experiencing the misery of the moment we become aware of its meaning. It’s the beginning of embracing the powerful assertions of Mars. Of which we will begin to experience on a different level when Neptune’s ingress to Aries at 0 degrees occurs on 1/26/2026. More about that in the next post.
Suffice it to say that it appears to be that events illustrating blatant unlawful actions and twisted assertions begins to result in the awakening needed.

The consequences of this moment via planetary movement and our human experience is inviting us to envision the new systems we need to create. Systems and structures that supports humanity and all of life in a sustainable way.
It most definitely is what we, the people must fight for once again as our ancestors have. To be a country governed by ethical laws and principles based on truth, allowing for liberty and justice for all.
The two minor grand sextile is the influence and energy that supports these ideas fueled by sentiments based on real true needs.
Most importantly to put in place much stronger safeguards to keep such unqualified criminals from ever holding any position of power again.
It is also necessary to acknowledge that in light of this past week’s current events, it is critically important that health care particularly mental health issues must be brought to a new level of comprehensive understanding.
New interpersonal diagnosis and treatments must be part of the equation moving forward. I see this as part of the teachings of the Pisces/Virgo Nodal Axis. It’s a work, health and service topic which can serve to create focus in that direction.
The “finger of fate”, aka the Yod, induced the beginning of a little encouragement at this challenging moment. This configuration beckons to us, its a call to action from the Universe.
The Sun/Moon at 28 degrees conjunct Venus 24 degrees Sagittarius, conjunct Mars in Capricorn at the Apex of the Yod.
It’s a menu of identity, desire and values. However, via the quincunx energy we experience them as being out of synch with deep emotional needs for stability.
Along with adversity to the comfort of emotional security there is a contradictory relationship towards being open to opportunities required for necessary breakthroughs.
What with the Apex of this Yod forming a quincunx to Jupiter Rx at 22 degrees Cancer sextile to Uranus retrograde at 28 degrees Taurus.
However, it’s the harmonious sextile that Jupiter in Cancer forms to Uranus in Taurus which allows a pathway towards our ability to shift gears. To then have the insight to integrate a relevant expansion of consciousness that supports the world we want to live in and the life we want to lead.
It is necessary to begin by acknowledging the depth and truth of the reality of what our real needs are. It’s through getting our basic needs met that nourishes our ability to live as dynamic vital beings capable of accomplishing much.
This Yod is the beginning of opening up a group mindset that acknowledges and understands the need to breakthrough. To keep on moving towards innovative ways for us to honor and bring into being our humanity, to serve ourselves and each other.

As we move through the Capricorn Solstice those of us in the Northern Hemisphere enter the cold season of Winter. Even as we slowly but surely move into brighter days.
While our friends in the Southern Hemisphere experience Summer and the days get shorter.
Those of us in the Northern Hemisphere are now in the Winter season. This is a useful time to turn inward. It’s a time of reflection as we get ready to enter a new year.
Motivated by Capricorn ambition we have the gift of perseverance along with the focus that Saturn ruled Capricorn supports.
As we move forward through Earth’s seasonal shift and continue on in Capricorn season, keep on.
Even as the holidays come and go, be aware that this is a time of reflection, commitment and patient work.
As we persevere to bring into being our wishes and promised intentions. This is a season to move our projects forward. Through consistent good work this is the time to make manifest lasting achievements as the light slowly but surely returns.
