On 3/3/2026 we had a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo.
The science of the astronomy of the Lunar Eclipse is that when the Earth moves directly between the Sun and the Moon. This configuration casts a shadow that obscures the surface of the Moon.
It is quite extraordinary to actually be aware of the Moon moving into the shadow of the Earth….which of course is what occurs during the Lunar Eclipse.
Whereas the astrology of the Virgo Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is when the Pisces Sun conjuncts the North Node while the Moon in Virgo conjuncts the South Node.
The Moon conjunct the Virgo South Node engages our consciousness with what is no longer needed. As well as remembering the lessons from the past that we can carry forward.
All this while we are being ensconced in the fogging up of what we took for granted was our reality. Yet the delays prove to be in service of discovery of a new reality system. A new understanding of life based on new conceptions of space and time.
The Virgo Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is when the Pisces Sun conjuncts the North Node as the Virgo Moon conjuncts the South Node.
The South Node contains the wisdom of lessons learned from the past.
The Lunar Eclipse is a time of letting go of past life lessons, habits and practices that serve no useful practical purpose in our lives.
This gives us the space to clarify habituated patterns, practices and lessons that do serve a practical useful purpose in our lives.
Then as we move away from the past we have the space and clarity to look ahead. To move forward with our lives in order to focus on what we are moving towards.
The clue is that what we are letting go of indicates what we are desiring and needing to be moving forward towards.
The letting go process informs what our goals are as we continue on. This has the capacity to become creatively imaginative as the Pisces influence accentuates our intuitive perceptions.
The Pisces North Node conjunct the Sun can serve as a pathway towards integrating past life lessons with future teachings. The dreamy component of Pisces slows down our energy into a flowing movement that inspires surrender. To surrender into the bliss of conscious awareness itself and to just be.
The extraordinary ordinary elegance of the work oriented Pisces/Virgo dynamic allows a sort of harmonic reverie to be played.
To inspire movement forward with our lives as we are contained within the din of daily living. As we cycle through the humdrum of the day to day perhaps we are really moving through a musical symphonic soundscape.
As we remember to surrender our focus to the details of daily living which serves as a grounding link. A connection we each have within us to help us open our eyes to the beauty of the world around us.
And if we allow it to be so to face the dire darkness contained within the dichotomy of Pisces. In service of keeping it real. Which we must or else we get lost in the destruction of delusions.
Still and all it is ultimately the goal of life itself to further integrate our perception of the Mystery of the Divine through our perceptions of the extraordinary ordinariness of daily living.
To bring to bear a connection to the sacred. As all life is.
So to hold with wonder how the power of the very simple yet complex components of our daily life practices are eternally interwoven into all of life.
Through integrating the Pisces Sun/Virgo Moon opposition we develop self acceptance with a new understanding of the meaning of work, health and service.
Most importantly to remember to release delusions of perfection in order to recognize and value the reality of good enough.
I yield to the God of imperfections as this Mercury retrograde piece, insists on its own completion……
Imperfectly perfectly delayed and rather tardy.
Yet good enough to evoke ideas and thoughts to inform movement forward.
