The Sun at 24 degrees Aquarius conjunct Mercury at 24 degrees shines its light on the Moon in Leo at 24 degrees.

The Full Moon is a time of completion that opens the door for letting go in order to keep on moving forward.

The Full Moon illuminates both sides of the same Zodiac coin so as to get to the issues they bring up. To resolve them and then to keep going.

This is a time of endings that opens the door to new beginnings once the Moon has completed its waning cycle and joins the Sun in conjunction to begin anew.

The Full Moon can be a time of celebration!

The dynamic opposition of the Leo Moon to the Aquarius Sun has the capacity to exude glowing warm love.

Leo the courageous Lion.

Fearlessly seeking the light of love and admiration through the myriad ways in which the spark of creativity moves them. Leo serves to inspire and amuse through channeling the creative impulse.

This Leo Full Moon warms the heart and soul for cool detached Aquarius. Its diametrical opposition shines the sunny glow of its creative fire as this Aquarius season continues to unfold.

This Full Moon has the capacity to encourage progressive movement forward. Perhaps in response to world events which seem to be shaking out in a way that causes concern.

Moving forward progressively is the Aquarius way.

This is especially so as the Sun/Moon opposition forms a square to Uranus at 20 degrees Taurus. This indicates that moving forward will not proceed without challenges.

Uranus, the modern ruling planet of Aquarius, inspires a restlessness that moves towards freedom and liberation.

Uranus transiting through Earthbound Taurus imbues this moment with some jolts and friction concerning finances, our values and ethics. The sorts of topics that support safety through healthy stability.

Aquarius is a Fixed Air sign which is fueled by its own rebellious spirit. It has an inherent need to do what is necessary in order to break free of constrictions. To accept the challenge being presented as a “ dare”. This energizes the Aquarian to come face to face with conflict in order to seek another way towards resolution. Making room for each point of view while encouraging respectful dialogue is the goal.

We have been moving through some significantly powerful energies, which on one level are beginning to let up a bit.

However, the influence of the movement of the planets often works on delay. So we are experiencing the impact of the Mars Rx in Leo opposition to Pluto in Aquarius a bit more vividly even as other transits are easing the way.

It is good to remember that the darker the night the more distinctly visible becomes the light towards the way through. The more crushing the contraction the more profound the breakthrough.

Aquarius, ruled by Saturn and Uranus seeks to break free by breaking through obsolete systems and structures. Hence, here we are in process.

As a collective national and global community we are in the midst of undergoing an intriguing moment of accelerated change. So many components coming at us all at once that exacerbates frustration, stress and anxiety.

However, it is a fascinating phenomena to be aware of that sometimes through the resolution of conflict is when the most creative healthy solutions emerge. So it is good to focus on our goals for the world in order to manifest the society that we wish to inhabit.

Aquarius is a group oriented sign. Friends matter very significantly for Aquarius.

At this time it is good to apply these Aquarian values to our own lives.

To become friends to ourselves.

Then to join together with like minded others within a group to set up shared goals where we can support each other as we co create the world we want to live in.

The challenge is to keep moving forward. To go one step at a time. Its a slow giving mountain but little by little we progress. We get somewhere.

Even as it seems impossible, slowly but surely the mountain gives way and we have gotten closer to our goal. This is what Aquarius season offers. A Fixed journey towards our goals.

At this moment in time we must carry on towards truth even in the midst of madness that fosters doubt and suspicion.

After all we are in the midst of Pluto transiting through Aquarius. So we are conscious enough to bear witness to how it’s being played out. It’s as if we all signed up for the “living in interesting times” lifetime plan.

Pluto, currently at 2 degrees Aquarius, serving as the wrecking ball it’s so characteristically made out to be. Doing a wonderful job of playing its part. Albeit, we might not know what that is just yet. In time we shall have the knowledge of it.

While at this Full Moon moment of culmination, we have the Sun in Aquarius conjunct Mercury in its opposition to the Leo Moon. These energies when untethered from power play seek to empower the good in all.

Mercury in Aquarius as it gets played out in the square angle is a good thing since it acts like an interpreter.

Using the power of the mind to communicate among the energies within the orb of its influence.

Allowing us to integrate logic with understanding.

If we are open to it our experiences at this time can start making sense. This is how practical solutions are discovered during a most perplexing time.

Pluto destroys that which is obsolete and decaying. Thus we are witness to this very process in an animated adverse way even as I am writing this.

As Pluto in Aquarius requires liberation towards equality and respect for humanity and life, there is a desperate clinging to antiquated patriarchal values. We are certainly witness to that at this time.

To serve the very few and not the many does not serve what the influence of Pluto in Aquarius requires. However, it does bring the collective consciousness to a place of “critical mass” which can serve as that breakthrough moment that Aquarius has the capacity to evoke.

To open a doorway to new understanding as the madness of those in positions of power attempt to run rampant. Attempting to trample any remaining vestige of humanity.

The planetary influences at work brings this to light to be seen. The planets through the Zodiac are not doing these abuses of power. Rather their influence shines a light on these behaviors. Albeit, it occurs to me as I am writing this that Mercury in Aquarius is guiding me here.

For sure dealing with disruption after disruption is exhausting along with being daunting and discouraging. However, while being quite uncomfortable it does indicate that astrological influences are indeed pointing us in the right direction.

We must keep going.

We must keep pushing through while calling on the fearless creative power of this Leo Full Moon.

To keep in mind that, “the root of inspiration is looking forward to the dawn”, so sang Essra Mohawk. As we continue on affirming the dawn of an evolving humanity as influenced by the gifts and resources of the full follow through cycle of the Zodiac.

We all just happen to be here at this very interesting cycle.

Saturn the co ruler of Aquarius transiting through Pisces at 18 degrees elicits a bit of down to earth sanity even as it transits through the ethereal cosmic fog of Pisces. Eliciting its own brand of challenge with the square it forms to expansive Jupiter in its detriment while in Gemini.

The dynamic of this square has the capacity to teach us about what it means to surrender as a means of letting go in order to make room for something better.

To let go while having the wherewithal to temper indulgence. To apply the wisdom of limitation while great big conflicts are being played out.

Testing our ability to find the balance between personal ambitions vs. commitments to justice and the law. How to navigate what is real, good and true along with high ideals. To be wary of being caught in delusion. Jupiter in Gemini square to Saturn in Pisces has the potential to teach us this very thing.

All this as Mars Rx at 17 degrees Cancer emerges for a brief moment out of its volatile opposition to Pluto. To harmoniously come into a trine to Saturn in Pisces at 18 degrees.

There is a need to instinctually be protective of oneself, one’s family and ones home in the midst of so much change. This influence is tempered with the solidity and stabilizing influence of Saturn in Pisces.

The beauty of this trine is that it contains the capacity to imbue us intuitively towards a conscious awareness that from a spiritual perspective we are all one. As Swami Satchidananda says, “Truth is One. Paths are many.” So here we are.

The sextile Mars Rx forms to Uranus in Taurus stimulates creative sparks of restless yearnings towards something new.

This is accentuated by the sextile Uranus forms to Saturn in Pisces. To bring to bear a gentle awakening and intertwining of the practical, the earth bound material world in its relationship to the deep felt sacred sense of our inner being.

To become aware of our bodies and health with an understanding of holism. These influences bring together the entry into new and healthier methods of dealing with anger and the psyche. A new understanding to revolutionize health care which includes the care and respect for our Mother Earth.
