The Moon as it begins a new cycle holds the feminine principle of our inner intuitive emotional body integrated with the Sun. The Sun holds the embodiment of the masculine principle. Both luminaries are connecting to integrate our inner most desires towards actions that are relevant to fulfill those desires.
September and the Virgo New Moon

To work and be excellent about it. To serve and be elegant about it.
@ 11 degrees conjunct the Sun ~ a new cycle begins as the Sun moves thru the sign of Virgo.
In the words of Robert Hand, “Virgo approaches the physical universe as an obstacle to which one must adopt a framework through which one can learn to be effective and a reality that must be served.”
He goes on to describe Virgo as what happens when Leo comes up against being called out or reprimanded.
Virgo bows in deference. Then begins the process where it goes to work finding the most efficient pathway towards the practical use of what is actually available to be utilized.
Often attracted to work in connection with their hands. Virgo imbues its natives with situations of doing work which in some way requires the use of their hands.
Mercury the Ruling Planet of Virgo is about the application of practicality and logic in service of work and health.
This differs from how Mercury operates as ruler of Gemini. Mercury inspires Gemini to seek information via communication. Thus, Gemini gathers info to be stored for later utilization when needed. This gives Gemini a predisposition towards being a social butterfly.
However Virgo is about process and getting the job done in a hands on way. It’s the meticulous conscientiousness of Virgo which emerges from a place of humility.
The development of humility is a character building attribute necessary for a well lived life in order to thrive and build healthy relationships. This is NOT at all the same as humiliation, which is abusive and destructive on every level.
Humility has a respectful reverence for life in all its forms. There is an understanding that one is part of a greater Universe. Humility contains an experience of inner peace, of self acceptance and an awareness of how grand the world is even in its imperfections.
Virgo’s humility is as vital and necessary as is Leo’s vibrant individuated sense of self.
This New Moon/Sun Virgo conjunction opposes Saturn Rx in Pisces. Saturn pertains to structures, systems, elevated positions of authority, and the father principle. At the bedrock of what Saturn offers is a relationship to responsibility, the ability to make and keep commitments which requires integrity. So Saturn serves to hold plans together as it is the bones of a project, plan or idea.
With Saturn transiting thru Pisces we have an ethereal almost other worldly influence on the hard edged seriousness of Saturn. This dichotomy could possibly stimulate some discomfort and anxiety. However the opposition Saturn forms to the Sun/Moon conjunction in Virgo informs this moment with a grounded logical understanding of the process of work that lies ahead.
The Saturn/Pisces opposition to the Virgo Moon/Sun conjunction has the capacity to bring to our attention just what matters. To be made aware of what requires focus and consideration.
Along with that opposition, we have Jupiter in Gemini square to the Virgo Sun/Moon conjunction as it also squares Saturn Rx in Pisces.
Jupiter pertains to higher learning, exploration of different cultures and expansive awareness of whatever it touches or is touched by. Optimism and enthusiasm to the point of innocence and sometimes blind faith are in tbe realm of Jupiter.
Virgo season holds the vibe of focus, concentration and work. With Jupiter and Saturn in strong aspect to this New Moon cycle, we have the capacity to understand that our work serves a greater purpose. To view work as a way of integrating services as part of a greater whole.
The tension of the square and opposition requires navigation that has the potential to open the door towards interrelated work that serves the greater good.
This has the potential to bring an understanding of what wellness and health is really about. As Sigmund Freud said, “Love and work are the cornerstones of our humanness.”
This moment with all its other influences has the capacity to be the beginning of many “aha” moments. This cycle of time holds the potential for seeds of new relevant ways concerning our relationship to work and money to unfold.
Neptune Rx at 29 degrees Pisces squares Jupiter and Mars both in Gemini. Indicating the potential for stormy weather with this configuration.
A time to look within to seek calm and stillness as the Gemini Air swirls against the Watery cosmic swirls of Neptune.
However the tension created by this combo has much potential for teaching and learning what with the mercurial influences of Gemini on the fiery energies of Mars and Jupiter.The ultimate goal being for us to weather the storm in order to trust that we are laying the groundwork for new life to emerge. Life where all beings in all processes and situations are respected.
Neptune in Pisces’s love of consciousness square to Jupiter and Mars stimulates the need for negotiation and communication. The Gemini factor has the potential to allow that to happen. This supports the ability to bring to the minds of many folks the awareness that in reality we all share the same basic needs. In order to survive, in order to thrive, which is something we all seek, we all need the same basic things.
These are basic needs that arise within our shared humanness. The Rx Neptune in Pisces square to Jupiter and Mars in Gemini lights up some glimmers of what it is to live in acknowledgement of each other. All the while respecting our unique qualities which does not negate our shared basic needs, desires and goals.
It’s by respecting and encouraging the creativity of our unique individuated selfhoods that we cultivate a sustainable world that supports life.
Pluto Rx at 29 degrees Capricorn forms a trine to Uranus Rx at 27 degrees in Taurus.
The ultimate catastrophe.
The grand finale that can only allow for emerging innovations that harmoniously support life.
It is helpful to remember and somehow trust that the ultimate goal of Pluto is rebirth, in spite of its activating power being quite mercilessly destructive.
The remarkable thing here is how Pluto Rx in Capricorn trine to Uranus Rx in Taurus, ruled by Venus then trines Venus in Libra.
Elvis Costello comes to mind here when he sings, “ What’s so funny about peace, love and understanding?”
At this point in time there is nothing funny about the dire need for the permanent cessation of offensive behaviors which only breeds more defensive behaviors creating destruction and needless suffering.
Nothing funny about that.
That is why it is remarkable and must be acknowledged that having the pinnacle of this Grand Trine be Venus at 6 degrees Libra is a good thing.
Truth and justice as guided by laws that are designated as both common sense and sacred as the basic golden rules of living together in peace which must prevail now.
Within this Grand Trine Venus in Libra must have the floor. Her scale of justice along with her golden gaze of beauty made from life loving desires that seek balance, peace and harmony must lead the way.
Balance, that leads towards peace and harmony is the bedrock of any healthy relationship, family and government which ultimately benefits the whole society.
This Grand Trine must be allowed to work its electromagnetic energy so that it becomes undeniably clear that diplomacy and dialogue are here to replace weapons of war and merciless destruction.
With Venus in Libra holding court over this Grand Trine it is becoming loud and clear that upholding righteousness and decency is the order of the day.
Integrity, ethics, accountability and morality are the orders of the day.
World leaders or anybody in elevated positions who do not understand or agree to moving towards diplomacy, dialogue and upholding lawfulness must not maintain their positions of power. They require rehabilitation towards recovering their humanity and/or to languish in containment as they ruminate their murderous ideologies. Far and away from any position that would give them the means to destroy by acting upon their criminal insanity.

This amazing New Moon moment has the capacity to continue the long arduous journey that sets in motion roads of like minded people seeking to establish a world based on values that supports life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness with dignity, justice and prosperity for All.
New Moon in Virgo thru the signs ~
Aries ~ Things are shifting and fluctuating as Mars the ruler of your sign completes its transit thru Gemini. Have you mastered learning to use the art of communication as a way of expressing your instinctual drives?
