The willful desire to comprehend the effect of Pluto in Aquarius opens the door towards the transformation that has the capacity to allow for liberation. This then uses the wreckage wrought by Pluto’s inclination towards death and destruction to a place of evolution.
Pluto in Aquarius has the capacity to cool the fiery fears brought on by the necessity of letting go of past structures. As we are still seeing played out via the genocide, senseless wars and authoritarian despots threatening sensible sustainability and balance. This is the influence of the final vestiges of Pluto in Capricorn, still within orb at 0 degrees Aquarius.
Aquarius being a Fixed Air sign has the capacity to transform the Pluto in Capricorn influence. Pluto in Aquarius with its logical innovative genius utilizes Pluto’s actions towards death, destruction and transformation towards the birth of humanitarian solutions.
Time marches on as the Moon in relationship to the Sun ultimately comes together to begin a new cycle of possibilities and aspirations.

To shine a light on the wreckage wrought by criminal insanity in order to comprehend the necessity to cease fire now.
The horror of the awareness of insane motivations is the rude awakening that seems to be tragically necessary to make it cease. So the fact that Mercury in Aquarius square to Jupiter and contained within the New Moon stellium is a troubling concern indeed. Journalism under attack must cease. The people must know and the brave journalists must tell.
As Carl Jung states, “You can’t heal what you don’t feel.” Pluto in Aquarius shines a light in the darkness so that the darkness becomes the light.
Within the awareness of the horror of so much unnecessary suffering, the heartbreaking grief and rage that is experienced, opens the door towards the realization that it must stop.
Inanna knew to bring the mourners to mourn as she would grieve with her sister Ereshkigal. Ereshkigal lost her husband to death by battle. The empathy of the mourners enabled Ereshkigal to transform her sister back to beauty and wholeness. It was this dark Plutonian Goddess of the underworld, Goddess of death, decay and all that is disgusting in her grief and rage turned Inanna to a gangrenous rotting piece of meat. The deep empathy of the mourners softened Ereshigal’s pain. This brought her back to balance and stability so she had the wherewithal to transform her sister Inanna back to herself. To then enable and allow her to once again make the ascent to life, to the World and the heavens.
So the New Moon in Aquarius indicates this evolutionary potential as a good possibility. With empathy being the key.

The Sabian symbol for 20 degrees Aquarius is particularly profound at this moment in time. It is, “ A large white dove bearing a message.” The explanation goes on to suggest that moving thru much inertia a significant victory emerges.

The emergence of truth unfolds. It’s the light of truth that opens the door to liberation. Allowing for a sensible sustainable relationship to reality. It is in essence what holds the key to peace or at least a way to work out of the existential crisis our global village is in the midst of.
For it is with the solid integrity of truth that trust and respect are earned where relevant innovative systems and structures can be established. In other words time to communicate, to connect with each other in groups. Such is the way of Aquarius.
It is that process which allows all manner of differences, discrimination, likes, dislikes and misunderstandings to have room to breathe. To just respect the awesome array of the plentiful varieties of differing opinions, points of view and the like.
“Do no harm.” It’s a medical ethic and need that is needed now in all fields and components of daily living.
So that common goals based on real human and creature needs can be realized.
The Moon in Aquarius conjunct the Sun in Aquarius inspires a connection and integration of our deep inner soul calling with our active individualized sense of self.
Aquarius is a Fixed Air sign ruled by Saturn and Uranus. In Traditional astrology Saturn rules Aquarius. However when Uranus was discovered it opened up new awarenesses and concepts. The perceptions that emerged were thought to be synchronized to the qualities of Aquarius.
I perceive and understand Aquarius to be ruled by both which allows for balance to be maintained.
Aquarius represents the socialized self as a cog in a group wheel that turns in the direction towards the good of all.
In its social expression Aquarius shares the brightness of Leo, the sign which diametrically opposes it. The Leo opposition allows the Sun to shine on Aquarius and brings warmth to the heart of the cool individualized Aquarius.
The relationship of Leo in opposition to Aquarius opens the door to the warmth of a sense of realized selfhood which Aquarius requires. Then Aquarius is energized and focused towards its goals, its affiliations and its friends.
Aquarius in its heart holds humanitarian values as a primary goal. Aquarius envisions a world of fair minded equality and balance. A world where there can be a shared understanding that garners respect for all beings and creatures.
To embody the principles decided upon on 7/4/1776. Essential moral principles written into the United State Declaration of Independence whereby “ it is self evident that all “people” are created equal and therefore all “people” are endowed with certain inalienable rights, such as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
So it was written and so its truths and concepts concerning our morality and ethics must be nurtured and given birth to. To be reawakened in order to be respectfully embodied. To reacquaint ourselves with this document in order for it to be updated, realized and put into practice.
I did take liberties to change the phrase that “all men” are created equal to “all people”. A definite sign of how different the world is now, as I write this in 2024. We have already made some progress. Now we get to evolve even more. Pluto in Aquarius can serve to keep the process going of finding structures and systems that utilizes whole heartedly the democratic process of the vote and dialogue that opens the door to serve all people.
The United States is in the depths and darkness of transformation within the midst of its Pluto Return. Pluto’s action is to uncover and reveal what is corrupt and rancid. In Aquarius it is the light of truth whose ultimate goal is to allow the “attainment of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” for the good of all.
Pluto making its way through Aquarius can serve to stimulate and energize life sustaining innovative ideas. Pluto having been transiting thru Capricorn for the past 20 years has been revealing the brittle structures that no longer make sense. As Pluto is beginning its transit thru Aquarius the darkness of Pluto can actually serve humanity.

The light of truth can transform the chaotic quagmire we see unfolding to be healed. To open the light of consciousness towards the ideas and possibilities that lead to earth bound sensible practicality. For all of us.
Aquarius is an energy that gets focused on a goal or idea and then works with dedication to see it thru. Particularly when it is for the good of all. The Fixed quality of Aquarius allows for the persistent focus needed with which to follow thru on projects, ideas and goals.
One of the significant resources of Aquarius is the ability to be detached from a situation, including their own views. This happens for Aquarius in order to get to the heart, the truth of any matter. Often this is judged by others as cool and distant. It is the activation of a deep thought process which allows the mind, heart and body to comprehend the truth and integrity of situations as they present themselves. To look for the opportunities in challenges that supports growth and evolution.
The transformational death component of Pluto transiting thru Aquarius is a good thing. For Pluto to become the the road towards a genuine sincerity towards truth, love and understanding.
Aquarius has the tendency to envision original new ideas. The penchant for forward thinking is inspired by Uranus the Modern Ruler of Aquarius.
However, the power of anchoring the extraordinary contained within the ordinary is the resource of the Saturnian influence.
This New Moon in Aquarius has moved within a stellium. A stellium is a group of 3 planets in one sign or conjunct by degree to another sign.
By sign we have the Sun/Moon, Mercury and Pluto in Aquarius with Pluto conjunct Mars and Mars conjunct Venus in Capricorn. This indicates that within a time of great change and transformation there is hope. There is a way to return to balance.
The Sun/Moon conjunction in Aquarius forms a square to Uranus in Taurus. This can produce disruptions. However disruptions serve the awakening process. Albeit they are often inconvenient and uncomfortable.
Uranus in Taurus is implanting the seeds of change. Always leaving behind some semblance of wreckage. Then within that wreckage, that loss, that despair lies the seed of the new.
Uranus being the modern ruler of Aquarius does not understand the material Earth bound experience of Taurus. However Venus, the ruling planet of Taurus helps develop the relationship that brings into being some new innovative compromises.
Then we have Venus/Mars/Pluto forming a sextile to Neptune in Pisces. This is a powerful trio that has the capacity to open the door to a new understanding of our instinctual natures. With Venus in Capricorn along with Pluto in Aquarius seeking balance is essential.
The trine to Uranus in Taurus awakens our relationship to the earth. While the sextile to Neptune stimulates our experience towards “random acts of kindness and untold beauty.”
Neptune in Pisces forming a sextile to Venus/Mars and Pluto has the capacity to open our conscious awareness to heartfelt compassion and forgiveness.
This component of the Aquarian Stellium has the capacity to dissolve boundaries and implant the collective consciousness with the knowledge of the reality that we are all one.
This does not mean that we have to like, agree or even understand each other, however when it comes down to our basic human and creature needs, we are all one.
