On 11/13/2023 at 4:27 AM EST the Moon at 20 degrees Scorpio had entered into a new cycle as it formed a conjunction to the Sun at 20 degrees Scorpio.

Scorpio is understood to be the most misunderstood sign of the Zodiac. This could actually be a reflection of our culture’s own confusions, fear and misunderstandings about the topics associated with Scorpio. Sex, death, regeneration, inheritance, shared ownership of properties and resources. These topics concern boundaries and the fluid realms of mystery. The ability to not know and let go. Such is the domain of Scorpio.

Scorpio is the detective seeking to uncover the truth at the same time being confidential and discrete maintaining mindful respect of that which remains veiled. In this sense I see the relationship Scorpio has to Taurus its polar opposite. Both Taurus and Scorpio are concerned with territory. Taurus with the material earthbound world of territory and Scorpio concerns itself with the boundaries of shared and inherited resources.

However, Robert Hand states,”As for polarity with its opposite sign, Scorpio seems to have little to do with Taurus. In a way , Scorpio is more a prefiguration of Pisces. During the time of this lunation, on the 13th when the Sun, Moon and Mars were at 22 degrees conjunct in Scorpio. They formed an opposition to Uranus Rx in Taurus at 21 degrees.

Uranus, the planet of sudden movements, change, invention and new perspectives. New ways of thinking about the way we are living our lives. A new understanding that allows us to embrace our humanity. The necessity of being embodied as it is transiting thru Taurus. The Fixed sign of earthen material stability, creature comforts, finances, money and the beauty of lush sensuality.

Material earthbound Taurus’s influencing planet Uranus. Uranus who just wants to be free perhaps even while being anchored, is not such a bad idea. Actually as long as Uranus is free to explore, experience and invent as needed, earthbound material connection to one’s body on planet Earth is not so constricting. As long as it can be broadcast and shared globally with dignity in a sustainable way for all. Freedom is one of the keywords for Uranus.

Scorpio seeks total immersion in its dance with death and transformation, Uranus throws open the secret locked doors to free the energy.

Uranus indicates letting go of what is no longer relevant with the understanding that once all the old is gone there is a seed of a new beginning. The seed of a relevant developing starting point contained within the shell of the old. To free up energy to move forward.

Saturn, planet of structures and boundaries which usually manifest as challenges. Challenges that in reality become guideposts towards our destiny. Saturn will lead us to our destiny if we have the character and integrity to listen. Saturn indicates the bones along with what the conditions of the bones are that holds our lives together.

Saturn at 0 degrees Pisces. Pisces the sign that dissolves structures in order to transcend them. Pisces the sign that is mostly interested in becoming liquified in order to let go of ego so as to swim into the river of consciousness itself.

I believe this is the perfect prelude to the era of Pluto, modern ruler of Scorpio who will make its ingress to Aquarius from 1/20/2024- 9/1/2024. Then 11/19/2024-3/8/2043.

The contradictory incompatibilities that transmute and transform our consciousness towards an evolutionary outcome of transcendence and a new found understanding is thus upon us.
