Yes, there truly was a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 5 degrees 9’ in Taurus on October 28, 2023. The Sun was at 5 degrees 9’ Scorpio and had formed an opposition to the Taurus Moon widely conjunct the North Node at 24 degrees Aries.
While activating the intuitive receptive Taurus Moon energy the North Node in Aries also became part of the story. The North Node being the component of the Nodal Axis where we are learning something new. The North Node is the point of evolutionary karma.
The transiting Aries North Node/Libra South Node axis brings to our global consciousness the significance of knowing that we are inter-connected. North Node in Aries emphasizes an awareness of knowledge about who we are in relationship to ourselves. However, we have a past life memory by way of the South Node in Libra that echoes within our deep residue of remembrances the way we inter connect with others.
So when the powerful Full Moon in Taurus was vibrating with the energy of the North Node in Aries events might have presented themselves to you with opportunities to learn about your relationship to yourself and others. To become aware of your own experience of assertion vs aggression and the willfulness of your own instinctual impulsive nature. All components of the Aries repertoire.
Specifically the lessons of this moment seems to indicate the focus on how to deal effectively when conflicts emerge. A by product of living on a planet inhabited by others. Since we all are individuals countries and/or governments with varied perspectives and understanding. We must learn to use the Aries energy to be present with the conflicts that emerge in order to find solutions. In this way we are integrating the knowledge gained from the Libra South Node.
In conjunction with the Taurus Moon energy, particularly with Pluto forming a square to the Nodal axis in Capricorn, the lesson is clear. To remember our humanity even within our relationship to conflict. To humanize the way we manage our feelings, particularly anger and frustrations in order to resolve situations. NOT TO DESTROY. Anger is an organizing force and an impulse towards healthy individuation.
It is understood that thru the lessons learned from the South Node in Libra we have the knowledge of how we impact others and are affected by others. Libra South Node assumes we have learned the lessons of justice and peace in order to elicit harmony. Libra South Node conjunct the Sun in Scorpio has the capacity to educate us on how to expose and cut away the lies, the delusions and the deceit.
So then the teachings of the North Node in Aries enables us to embrace that power in an integrated life affirming way, Aries is thought of as a warring, militaristic sign which on many levels that is what that energy indicates. However, there is also a reverence for life via its connection to our instinctual need to survive. Aries revels in its vitality and life affirming vigor. That is why there is a balance struck in its relationship to its opposition sign Libra.
The North Node in Aries is a time where we must learn to work our will in a focused energized way. A way in which we allow for all of life and peoples to coexist in a sustainable way. To learn about anger, conflict and managing our fear and insecurity from a place of mutual relationship to all. Self and other.
This is the teaching required of us as the North Node transits thru Aries. I believe this is indicated by the fact that we are currently living in a world that has advanced technologically way beyond a needed reverence for reality along with a frightening juvenile lack of comprehension of what the hubris of the Heads of States are aware of. The laws of cause and effect must be revitalized and put into practice, ASAP. It is the power of the extraordinarily ordinary citizens of the global village to remind them. I believe that is a healthy positive use of Pluto in Capricorn squaring the Aries/Libra Nodal axis.
When Mars, Mercury and the Sun are conjunct in Scorpio as Pluto in Capricorn squares the Nodal axis, letting go, transformation and change is at hand.
Transformation and change that supports growth thru sustainable living. With Mercury involved there is the motivation towards listening and imparting information. Bringing sharpened logical thinking to the willfulness of Mars in Scorpio and the questing energy of the Sun in Scorpio.
Yet, in opposition this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse was in Taurus. The dire need for peace and stability was the essence of the soul of the Full Moon lunation we had on 10/28/2023.
With Pluto playing it’s part to insure that the paradigm of yesterday must transform into something better. Something that works well as the structure within a system continues to be demolished as only Pluto in Capricorn can do. The purpose of the demolition must be to clear the space and allow for a rebirth to occur into something new. This is clearly getting played out in the devastating crises of current world events.
Pluto, modern ruler of Scorpio in square aspect to the Lunar Eclipse and the Nodal axis, has indicated that the transformations needed are happening. The response publicly throughout the world is the awakening of people. Albeit, not made clear enough yet, still we are moving forward towards transformation and evolution.
There is a “fork in the road” where evolving souls of humanity might be finding themselves. Can we embody our humanity from a place of heart and soul or to remain in the grips of belief systems that divides life into good/bad, up or down? Can we “hold the tension of the opposites”as the late Marion Woodman suggests?
This Scorpio season is a moment where some serious soul searching is triggered. Particularly as the USA is in the midst of its Pluto Return.
Still and all, the culmination of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus served as a new beginning. What with Mercury in Scorpio having the capacity to bring logic as the thinking and listening presence of the metaphorical midwife to the rebirth of a new paradigm. If we take a moment to take a beat and breathe we can become aware of the reverent relationship we have to the mysterious elements of life and death itself.
As the Pluto in Capricorn square to the Nodal axis makes itself manifest on the world stage, can there be a global shift towards an ethical humane heartfelt understanding of how valuable life is. How fragile and precious just being alive and well is? To have the compassion and understanding to preserve and care to support all citizens of this planet a good life. Such is the component that the Taurus has added to the recent culminating Full Moon in Taurus.
Taurus and the Full Moon in Taurus requires peace. Taurus seeks stability which requires there to be trust and respect for life that comes when all is well.
Of note is Pluto in Capricorn at 27 degrees forming a trine to Venus in Virgo at 18 degrees. Venus ruler of the South Node in Libra transiting thru the sobering sign of Virgo forming a trine to Uranus in Taurus. Allowing for a harmonious sweet flow towards a new consciousness of peace and stability.

Uranus is forging its unique innovative way towards peace that is premised on a thriving world for all. ‘Cause Uranus just rolls that way. So do give peace a chance.
Now the song has such an awesome hook in it with Pluto in Capricorn trining at the pinnacle of this triangle. This is a breakthrough moment if we allow ourselves to affirm it that way by envisioning it as such. It’s the sound that the amazing music of this heavily aspected astrological moment in its resonant communication.
Let us move forward with the sweetness of this paradoxical trine to continue to dissolve antiquated and obsolete abuses of power. Let us work with the sweetness of the trine to affect and support changes needed that can grow the seeds of grounded centered logical thinking into a new Earth that supports life for all.
